It’s been nearly a year since Blu and Exile reunited for on wax for Miles which, unfortunately, they didn’t get to tour off of due to the pandemic. It was an excellent collaborative effort reminding fans of their chemistry on wax on 2007’s Below The Heavens. However, Blu has kept it pushing with new material, now returning alongside Sirplus, a protegé of Exile, for their new EP, For Sale. The eight-track effort brings together Blu’s effortless lyricism to the fold along with Sirplus’s bright, soulful production. The project includes appearances from PCH, Nolan The Ninja, and more.
“Sirplus is my guy,” Blu said. “He is the newest member of the Dirty Science crew, and I could tell he had talent and skill. I knew I had to work with him.”
Coming out of California, Rob $tone has always made sure to pay homage to his influences. The state is known for tracks that have a ton of bounce to them and over the past few years, $tone has experimented with that sound quite a bit. Now, on his new song “I Love It” with Rubi Rose, $tone takes that sound to a whole new level as he comes through with an anthem that is all about wanting to get freaky.
Throughout the track, $tone delivers lyrics about flying a girl out and what he plans to do with her once she touches down. The lyrics are straightforward and suggestive, all while Rubi Rose helps carry the torch in the second half of the song. She raps from the women’s perspective and the verses make the song feel like a real duet of sorts.

Ever since the release of “Pop Out,” it was no secret that Polo G was revving up to takeover the rap game. His loyal and dedicated fanbase grew alongside him as he continued to gain the respect of the rap game with each verse. On Friday, he unveiled his new project, Hall Of Fame which, to many, is a formal welcoming to the rap game’s popular table. The project is stacked with features from legends like Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne to his peers like Rod Wave.
Polo G and Roddy Ricch team up for a highlight off of the project with “Fame & Riches.” WizardMCE cooks up the production consisting of a gentle guitar loop and complementing percussion. Polo and Roddy detail the complicated relationship with their successful rise in the rap game that has gone on to shift attitudes among those closest to them. “We fell off and shit got strange ’cause of distance/ Wish I could get some millions in exchange for my feelings,” Polo raps on the track.

Virgil Abloh is one of the most popular designers in the entire world and his work with Off-White has been praised by streetwear enthusiasts. He has done a lot of work with Nike over the last few years, and in 2021, he is set to release his most ambitious Off-White x Nike project yet. This collection has been dubbed “The 50” and it will feature 50 new colorways of the Nike Dunk Low.
Based on the limited information we know thus far, it would appear as though each shoe will have the same base colorway, although the major difference will be the color of the laces and the hangtag. It remains to be seen how Nike will handle such a release, although there is no denying that fans are intrigued.
Now, it appears as though billboards for the collection have been popping up in cities all over the world. London, Milan, Paris, and Los Angeles have all received their own billboards, and fans are getting very excited for what’s to come. It’s easy to see why that would be the case, as Off-White x Nike drops always seem to bring forth a ton of hype.

Famous Dex has been on an unfortunate downward spiral. Late last year, the Chicago rapper, supported by friends like Rich the Kid, entered rehab to deal with his ongoing substance abuse. He checked out of the facility at the top of this year but subsequently sparked more concern among fans after appearing to be still abusing substances post-rehab.
Early March, he was arrested for gun possession. Later in the month, he was then hit with 19 domestic violence and gun possession charges. Now, the rapper is in some more legal trouble, this time for allegedly violating a restraining order instated following his domestic violence charges.

As reported by TMZ, law enforcement sources explained that the rapper was at a hearing Thursday (June 10) related to the 19 different charges he was hit with back in March–namely the domestic violence and gun possession charges. He plead guilty to all the charges, however, the publication reports that during the hearing, it was noted that Dex had allegedly violated a protective order put in place after one of the violent incidents from late last year.
Sources close to the situation say he was immediately taken into custody where he remains, being held on a $200k bond.
Boskoe10 recently spoke about Dex in an interview, discussing his experiences with the troubled rapper. “He a dope head. He’s a dope fiend… It was like, you had so much potential. Like damn, you had a girl like this, and you f*cked this [up]. She’s beautiful… He just a dope head,” explained Boskoe100.

In the three years between Culture II and Culture III, the spotlight returned to Brooklyn with their regional variation of drill taking over the rap game. It was Pop Smoke who was at the forefront of the movement. In his rise in the game, he and Quavo began forming a close bond that would result in bangers like “Shake The Room” and “Aiming,” among others. So, it seemed natural that Migos would end up landing a posthumous Pop Smoke verse for Culture III. The ATL trio link up with Pop for the menacing drill-fluenced banger, “Light It Up.” 808Melo’s signature combo of menacing drums and airy vocal samples serves as the backdrop while the triplet flows of the Migos and the baritone delivery of Pop Smoke take charge.

Pi’erre Bourne had been teasing The Life Of Pi’erre 5 for a very long time, and as a result, fans were anxiously awaiting what he had in store. On Friday, Bourne finally delivered as he came through with 16 new tracks that have some incredible vibes and some of the best instrumentals we have heard this year. With each song transitioning into the other, Bourne has created a solid body of work that is filled with great tracks. One of those efforts is the song “42,” which is a masterclass in contemporary hip-hop production.
Bourne’s lyrics are braggadocious and nonchalant, while his flows are laid back and allow the production to do much of the work. The instrumental is filled with hypnotic bell sounds and some drums that help progress the track along further. It has been praised as one of the best tracks on the project, and it is easy to see why.

Unfortunately, for many of Hollywood’s elites, an obsessed fan is nothing out of the ordinary. Kylie Jenner is the latest to have to deal with a crazed supporter. As reported by TMZ, the reality TV star recently was visited by a stalker fan who refused to leave her home until he was granted a chance to declare his love to her.
An unfortunate follow-up to a recent situation her older sister Kim Kardashian has had to deal with, law enforcement sources explain to the publication that the man was arrested at Jenner’s LA residence this week. They further that the man was recognized by her security for his frequent visits already, but he had never been disorderly when they asked him to leave.

Sources go on to explain that this time it was different, allegedly standing his ground and demanding to see Kylie before leaving. As expected, that didn’t happen and he was subsequently detained until officers came to book him.
According to reports, he was eventually booked for misdemeanor trespassing before being released. Luckily, Kylie was not home while the incident was occurring, but, as mentioned briefly before, it’s the latest in the series of overly egregious fans engaging with the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
At the beginning of the month, Kim Kardashian was sent a package by a fan containing a real diamond engagement ring alongside an unopened container of Plan B contraception. Her security team believes it’s from a frequent stalker of Kim who has shown up at her place before, similar to the situation with Kylie.
Luckily for both the beauty company CEOs, neither were harmed during the respective situations.
