After years of supporting former President Donald Trump and standing on the side of conservatism, former Fox News correspondent Stacey Dash made an announcement on Wednesday (March 10). The Clueless icon has perplexed audiences in recent years for her often outlandish commentary about socio-political issues, and even called for the ousting of Black-centered celebrations and media including BET and Black History Month. The actress was caught in a scandal in 2019 after she was arrested over a domestic dispute and after she defended Trump’s “very fine people” rhetoric regarding the neo-Nazi rally in Virginia in 2017, the public was outraged. However, she claims she’s turned over a new leaf.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Dash said she’s stepping back from politics. “I’ve lived my life being angry, you know. Which is what I was on Fox News,” said the actress who was fired from the network in 2017. “I was the angry, conservative Black woman and at that time in my life it was uh, who I was and I realized in 2016 that anger is unsustainable and it will destroy you and you know, what people don’t know is that I made a lot of mistakes because of that anger.”
This version of Stacey Dash is much more docile than the one years ago that called undocumented Mexicans “drug traffickers” and claimed former President Barack Obama didn’t care about terrorism. “There are things that I am sorry for. Things that I did say, that I should not have said them the way I said them,” she told the outlet. “They were very arrogant and prideful and angry. And that’s who Stacey was, but that’s not who Stacey is now. Stacey’s someone who has compassion, empathy.”
She added, “God has forgiven me, how dare I not forgive someone else. I don’t want to be judged, so how dare I judge anyone else. So if anyone has ever felt that way about me, like I’ve judged, that I apologize for because that’s not who I am.” She added that she doesn’t see herself as “a victim of anyone” and said that the person she is now would never be employed at Fox News. There are only a select few people who see Batman’s nemesis Joker as a hero, and LaKeith Stanfield includes his name on that list. The maniacally funny murderer most recently received his own film in 2019 starring Joaquin Phoenix, and the character was mentioned by Stanfield during his sit-down with Vanity Fair. The acclaimed Judas and the Black Messiah actor recently caught up with the outlet for their Proust Questionnaire series where he answered 35 rapid-fire inquiries about himself. When asked about his favorite hero character, he explained why his answer was the Joker.
“I like the Joker because the Joker makes you have to look in the mirror and flip everything on its head and like, make you have to laugh at everything that you thought was sacred,” said Stanfield. “It’s kind of like a glorified troll in making people see what they have to see in themselves. ‘Cause ultimately, you have to make your own decision inside yourself in who you want to be and what you want to be, but sometimes you don’t know what that is until somebody shows you. And the Joker’s just like, ‘You thought that this was all so serious? Nah, that sh*t’s funny.”

It’s been nearly two and a half months since the world learned about the death of MF DOOM. The legendary rapper passed away on Halloween last year, but the news was withheld by his family until New Year’s Eve. The rapper’s legacy became quickly clear, as a number of artists took a moment to share their condolences and thank him for his work. In a recent interview with Inked Magazine, Playboi Carti shared what DOOM’s unique influence on him was, after he referenced him on “Stop Breathing” from his album Whole Lotta Red.
“I had to tell my boy, my best friend, my engineer. He’s the person recording the song, and he didn’t know who MF DOOM was,” he said. “I’m like, you don’t know MF DOOM? You don’t know who this dude is? I had to play songs for him, because he didn’t know who he inspired. The mask! I’m anonymous myself, but he’s king of that.”
Carti added that while their respective sounds are completely different, their refusal to conform to society’s standards was fairly similar. “I don’t have to sound like MF DOOM to be inspired by him,” Carti said. “Nobody can keep a leash on him. Nobody can keep a leash on me. That’s definitely his impact. Even if I didn’t know that at first, I had to look up and think about this sh*t right here—it had already been done.”

She calls herself the “most hated” person on social media, and unlike Lil Duval, Cardi B had the time to go back-and-forth with her naysayers online. The rapper has been celebrating “Bodak Yellow” becoming Diamond-certified, a first for a woman in Rap, and on Twitter, a user revisited Cardi winning Best Rap Album at the Grammys for Invasion of Privacy. At the time, she said she wanted to share her award with Mac Miller and his loved ones because his family reportedly stated that if he didn’t win, they wanted her to take home the trophy. A Twitter user attempted to say something slick to Cardi so she decided to bring up how people bullied and harassed Miller when he was alive.
“His family didn’t have no mean energy so why you?” she told the person who has since deleted their tweet. “I hate when ya make hate tweets like this to go viral but where was the love when ya bullied him for months on this app & he was crying out for help? Makin fun of him when he crash his car?” Cardi brought up his DUI car accident in May 2018 that occurred around the time of Miller’s breakup with Ariana Grande, just four months ahead of his accidental overdose death. “Ya don’t care till somebody is gone.”
Someone else chimed in that the public vilified Miller in the press and on social media. “EXACTLY MY POINT RIGHT THERE,” Cardi added. “Let me make it clear if is a Mac Miller fan upset I get it go hard for who you love.I understand if you mad at the Grammy situation but don’t bring his name up for a viral tweet when ya was the same one bullying him for MONTHS !”
Another person told Cardi that she wasn’t the target of the tweet, but instead, it was criticism of the Grammys. “Naaaa don’t gaslight me like I’m crazy cause if he would have lost to another rapper they wouldn’t mention their name but noo let’s mention cardi to make people hate her over & over again,” she responded. “Also why only bring up the Grammy incident? Why they don’t bring up how they bullied him ?”

The teen accused of the double murder at a Kenosha, Wisconsin protest won’t return to court until this November. On August 25, 2020, Kenosha residents took to the streets to peacefully protest against the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake. A 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse crossed state lines with an armed militia and patrolled the streets with a firearm. It has been reported that Rittenhouse was protecting businesses from potential looters as he walked the streets with his AR-15, and when he was approached by bystanders, he reportedly opened fire, killing 26-year-old Anthony Huber and 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum. Another victim, 26-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz, was injured by survived.
The now-18-year-old Rittenhouse has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him including first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree reckless homicide. He’s been released on bail and has been back at home with his loved ones, often photographed out at bars and lounges with his parents and friends, some rumored to be Proud Boys. He recently angered the public by wearing a “Free As F*ck” shirt.
According to NPR, today (March 10), a Wisconsin judge officially delayed Rittenhouse’s trial. His attorneys reportedly stated that they need more time to work on a “public opinion poll ‘to get a feel for whether Rittenhouse can expect to get a fair trial in the county, or if there might be a reason to seek a change of venue or a jury pool from another county.'”
Following the Kenosha shooting, then-President Donald Trump spoke about Rittenhouse and stated that the teen was acting in self-defense against a violent attack.

The announcement is part of a larger experience from Fyooz that aims to allow token holders to get up close and personal with their favorite celebrities. The experience will allow for a direct and personal interaction that can be “one-off, multiple interactions, or indeed a ticket for ongoing events with the artists,” according to a press release. The beer pong with Post Malone is their maiden effort.

Jack Dorsey recently minted an NFT of the first tweet ever sent on Twitter. According to CNN, the CEO of Bridge Oracle, Sina Estavi, offered $2.5 million for said tweet. Elsewhere, Grimes made $6 million by selling her art collection WarNymph Collection Vol 1 as an NFT. Each digital art piece was accompanied by exclusive audio that could only be obtained by purchasing an NFT.
