Wack 100 Demands Jim Jones Provide Paperwork To Prove He Isn’t A Snitch

Tekashi 6ix9ine has been running amuck in the rap game ever since the release of “GUMMO.” Though his career has certainly dwindled, he’s clearly taking every and any opportunity imaginable to keep his name in the headlines. This past week, Akademiks released the first episode of Off The Record with Tekashi 6ix9ine and Wack 100 that resulted in the West Coast mogul receiving heavy backlash from New York to Atlanta and back.

A subsequent conversation on Clubhouse including 21 Savage, 6ix9ine and Wack 100 went viral on Friday morning. Though the highlight was Wack 100 threatening to whoop 21 Savage’s ass, there was a moment when Tekashi brought up Jim Jones name, suggesting that the Dipset member was a snitch among other things. This ultimately led to a response from Jones who called up Mel Matrix to verbally violate Tekashi, as well as Wack 100.

“Fuck Wack 100, you know what I’m saying? Fuck him and anybody that’s working with him, you heard me?… That n***a a hoe. Him and the n***a he talkin’ to,” Matrix is heard saying on the phone call.

Though we’ve yet to hear from Tekashi on the matter, Wack 100 certainly wasn’t going to allow this to fly without addressing the matter. He took to Instagram where he issued a five-minute response. “Ayo, Jim Jones, listen. I don’t know what your issue with me is, bro. The kid the one that called you a snitch. Facts is facts, my n***a,” Wack said before bringing up Jones’ alleged role in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. “You gave an order and that order was carried out.”

“The fact that you had to have a n***a from jail call, right. And you on the street. You pussy, my n***a. I thought we was better than that but since you want to direct it to me and not talk about what that man said, and what’s on the internet, right, about you talkin’ on a wiretap, let’s me know that you are running from something. ‘Cause not one time, Jimmy, have you addressed what that man said about you,” he said. “Don’t try to re-direct it to Wack name, my n***a,” he continued.

Wack continued to bring up allegations that Jim Jones cooperated with authorities. He cited gun cases in Virginia that have allegedly been dropped, and the fact that Jones did not go to jail, despite being on wiretap and having that recording played during trial.

“Yo Jim, the world, the streets — you owe an explanation and n***as need to see that paperwork from that gun case you caught in another state. Because something really ain’t adding up,” he continued.

Lionel Messi To Sign With PSG, Says Goodbye To Barcelona

Lionel Messi is one of the most legendary soccer players of all time and when it comes to club play, he has spent his whole life with Barcelona. After being signed as a kid, Messi got to play with Barcelona’s various junior teams before ultimately making his way to the main club. After more than 20 years within the Barcelona system, Messi is now done with the club as his contract has run out.

Messi wanted to sign with Barcelona although the team is currently in debt and if they were to sign him, they would be violating various LaLiga cap rules. On Saturday, Messi big farewell to his longtime team as he broke down in tears during a press conference.

“I am really sad because I didn’t want to leave because this is the club I love,” Messi said via ESPN. “I didn’t expect this. I have never lied; I have always been honest and up front. Last year I wanted to leave; this year I didn’t. That’s why I am so sad. As the president [Joan Laporta] has explained, the club has debt [problems]. It’s not possible. Why keep drawing it out if it’s nearly impossible? I did everything I could to stay and it wasn’t possible,” Messi claimed. “I offered to reduce my salary by 50% and Barca didn’t ask for anything else. They didn’t ask for another 30%; that’s a lie.”

Now, it is being reported that Messi will sign a two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain which is a legendary French team. PSG has been known to sign former Barcelona players, and the team could very well be stacked heading into next season.

While this is a sad moment for Barca fans, you can’t help but marvel at everything Messi did for that club.

KayCyy Pluto Claims Kanye West Is Dropping “Hurricane” As A Single

On Thursday night, Kanye West blessed fans with yet another presentation of his new album DONDA. Unlike the listening party from two weeks ago, it was clear that the album is almost complete. The songs Kanye showed off were much more fleshed out than his previous efforts, and fans couldn’t help but marvel at the beauty of some of the songs on the tracklist. There were some incredible features littered throughout the project, including verses from Jay Z, Travis Scott, Baby Keem, Kid Cudi, Young Thug, Westside Gunn, and Lil Baby, just to name a few.

One song that stood out for a lot of people was “Hurricane,” which is a track that used to be called “80 Degrees.” This song has undergone numerous changes over the last three years, and on Thursday, the song was presented with The Weeknd on the hook, and Lil Baby on the first verse.

This could very well be the biggest hit on the entire project, and fans can’t wait to get a studio version. Yesterday, rumors were floating around Twitter that “Hurricane” could very well be dropped as a single and that it would be released prior to the entire album. In fact, there were some IG stories that pushed this particular narrative.

Now, KayCyy Pluto, who wrote on the song “Hurricane,” has taken to Twitter with an update for Ye fans. According to the artist, we will, indeed, be getting a single prior to the album, and that fans can expect it to be “Hurricane.” In fact, the effort is already listed on Apple Music, and KayCyy Pluto seems to think we could get the song as early as midnight tonight.

KayCyy’s claims have not been confirmed by Kanye, although considering the young artist has been in the stadium with Ye, there is no denying he is a solid source. Keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates related to DONDA.

“Watch The Throne” Turns 10: Kanye West & Jay-Z’s Final Hoorah Before Fatherhood

There’s a large gap between royalty and celebrity, though paparazzi and tabloid publications often treat them synonymously. Royalty requires an heir to the throne; a bloodline to inherit the empire. Watch The Throne cemented Jay-Z and Kanye West’s status as royalty in the United States. An opulent reflection of two Black men in America who beat the odds of a system that was created against them.

Jay materialized pop culture’s fascination with “power couples” when he and Beyoncé tied the knot in 2008. Meanwhile, Kanye was America’s playboy prancing around with haute couture’s gatekeepers and European supermodels. In retrospect, perhaps ‘Ye was the influence that led to Beyoncé’s Lemonade — but that’s another story.

Prior to the release of Watch The Throne, Kanye West and Jay-Z’s individual musical contributions defined American culture and music. Albums like The Blueprint and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy transcended pop culture and asserted Jay-Z and Kanye West as internationally renowned and recognized global stars. Between the success of Roc-A-Fella as a label and budding ventures into the world of liquor with Ace of Spades, Jay solidified himself as a music mogul who just so happened to also be the greatest rapper alive. And while Kanye had yet to fully redefine sneakers and fashion with the Yeezy brand, albums like 808’s & Heartbreak shifted both the aesthetic and sound of hip-hop — the impact of which can still be felt today.

Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Getty Images

Together, they pushed each other’s pens in brotherly competition and commemorated remarkable achievements. Every live show included a display of a Givenchy-designed U.S. flag, symbolic of attaining the American dream and shattering the art world’s construct that dictated hip-hop to be a lesser-than artform. More importantly, Watch The Throne served as Jay-Z and Kanye West’s final hoorah before the life-altering experience of fatherhood. A legacy had already been built by the time Watch The Throne was released but the question remained: who’s going to carry it?

Parenthood and family were a focal point of Watch The Throne, whether directly on songs like “New Day” or more subtly on a joint like “Made In America.” These recurring themes have been explored in their solo work, whether on Jay’s verse on “Where Have You Been” or Kanye’s Graduation highlight “Champion.” Collaboratively, however, they weren’t solely looking at the past and reflecting on the missteps of their own fathers, but rather looking forward and laying their own cards on the table.

RZA-produced “New Day” is a left-turn on the tracklist following tracks like “Otis” and of course, “N***as in Paris,” reveling in the luxuries that afforded them space in upscale settings like Paris Fashion Week (which has certainly embraced the hip-hop community more since the album’s release 10 years ago). Similar to 2Pac’s “Letter To My Unborn,” Kanye and Jay reflected on their legacies beyond the grave; an open letter to the hypothetical heirs to the throne. Even financially, Kanye and Jay-Z began focusing on turning their personal riches into generational wealth.

North West and Blue Ivy Carter won’t have to deal with the financial hardships their parents went through. On “New Day,” Jay-Z and Kanye’s biggest fear, then, is their reputations weighing on their children. I just want him to have the easy life, not like Yeezy life,” raps Kanye. “Just want him to be someone people like/ Don’t want him to be hated all the time, judged/ Don’t be like your daddy that’d never budge.”

Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Getty Images

The battle between celebrity and humanity has been a constant tug-of-war for Kanye West. His outspoken nature, more times than not, has backfired on his true intentions. Donda West’s death played a role in Kanye’s “behavioral troubles,” if you want to call it that. The VMA incident with Taylor Swift didn’t help, nor did his infamous comments about George W. Bush, but he spat in the face of adversity, and most of all, the premature stages of cancel culture. For Jay, that same scrutiny littered the early parts of his career when he faced accusations of misogyny and was charged with the stabbing of Lance “Un” Rivera. These moments stand out as pivotal in Jay’s career, displaying his ability to overcome adversity and his growth as a human being. The father that he never had was the one he aspired to become.

“Sorry junior, I already ruined ya/ ‘Cause you ain’t alive, paparazzi pursuin’ ya/ Sins of a father make your life 10x harder/ I just wanna take ya to a barber/ Bondin’ on charters, all that shit that I never did/ Teach you good values so you cherish it.” — Jay-Z.

WTT was a final outing for Jay-Z and Kanye West as they reveled in bachelorhood. Though Jay put a ring on Beyoncé years prior and Kanye was practically on his way to becoming a patriarch in the Kardashian household, Watch The Throne was the final page before beginning a new chapter of their lives as family men.

Their subsequent releases were reflections of that, as Watch The Throne helped usher in this new era of grown man raps4:44 was an unadulterated glimpse into Jay’s otherwise private personal life, providing his most compelling body of work of the past decade. Similarly, the as-of-yet-to-be-released DONDA is an homage to Kanye’s mother as well as a reflection on the trials-and-tribulations of building his own family in the midst of a headline-grabbing divorce.

It’s officially been 10-years since the release of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s collaborative album. A decade since the powerhouse duo set the tone for hip-hop for the decade to follow. Kanye and Jay’s relationship became strained within that time, though a recent reunion on DONDA spells hope. If the possibility of a sequel manifests itself before the end of the year, how will fatherhood inform Watch The Throne 2?

Trae Tha Truth, Moxiii Double Dee, And JARED Offer A Banger On “Off Top”

Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth has always dropped bangers throughout the course of his career, and fans always expect high quality from his work. His deep voice and dope bars command respect, so it’s no surprise that his latest track “Off Top” would be yet another solid addition to his catalog. The new track dropped on Friday, and it features the likes of Moxiii Double Dee and JARED.

With this track, we get some heavy production that begins with Moxiii Double Dee on the hook. This chorus is actually shared with Trae, who delivers a menacing second half that will grab your attention. All of the verses here are braggadocios on nature and they will certainly make you want to bob your head. It’s a great effort from these three, and you can check it out, below.

Quotable Lyrics:

I’ma get mine off T.O.P
Come to my bag, it’s C.O.D
When it come to this shit, I’m a G.O.D. (G.O.D.)
I’ma get mine off T.O.P
Yeah, I’ma get mine off T.O.P
Walk in the spot, make it P.O.P
Everybody in the club tryna bе on me

Gucci Mane Signs High School Rapper Bic Fizzle To New 1017

If anyone OG can take credit for properly scouting a solid roster of talent to take over in a new generation, it’s Gucci Mane.

The rapper has long been a champion for finding new talent and putting them in position via his 1017 platform and he can rightfully claim that he doesn’t miss often. Now with a current roster that boasts Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, and Big Scarr among others, Gucci has made a move to add high-schooler Bic Fizzle to the mix, officially initiating the Arkansas-based 18-year-old with his Johnny Dang-created 1017 chain.

“I just sign the hardest young nigga in Arkansas,” Gucci penned. “He only 18 in 12th grade and play quarterback at his high school welcome @bicfizzle and follow him he next up #New1017.”

Bic Fizzle is only the latest in a string of new signees for the imprint. Just last month, Gucci headed to Texas to sign Waco’s HotBoy Wes after inking a deal with Mississippi rapper BigWalkDog in May. Quite obviously, the New 1017’s common theme is young voices bred in the Bible Belt, bringing new emphasis to southern hip-hop’s emerging class.

The strategy is clear, too, as Gucci plucks rappers he deems to be the hottest in their respective states, plotting a concerted takeover. Naturally, time will tell what’s to come of the New 1017.

Kyle Kuzma Unveils Who His Favorite Lakers Teammate Was

Kyle Kuzma was a controversial player during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, although the controversy wasn’t always fair. After the arrival of Anthony Davis, Kuzma’s role on the team was diminished and it led to a lack of confidence while on the floor. Regardless, Kuzma has retained his value over the years, and he is now off to Washington where he gets a fresh start with the Wizards. Of course, Kuzma was sent to Washington as part of the package deal for Russell Westbrook.

Now, Kuzma is sitting at home waiting to join the Wizards for training camp, and to help pass the time, he has been interacting with his fans on social media. Recently, Kuzma had himself a Q&A on Twitter, where he was asked a plethora of questions from Lakers fans.

One fan asked Kuzma who his favorite Lakers teammate was, and the answer may be a bit surprising. As you can see in the tweet below, Kuzma claims that Jared Dudley was his favorite teammate, although he doesn’t elaborate on why. If you know anything about Dudley, you can probably guess that Kuzma likes him for his veteran presence in the locker room, and his ability to diffuse bad situations. Dudley is the ultimate glue guy and while he may not get a lot of minutes, he is still beloved by his teammates.

LeBron James fans are probably going to take this as a slight to the Lakers superstar, although it certainly shouldn’t be received that way. LeBron isn’t going to be the answer to every question, and his fans are just going to have to deal with that.

Jay-Z & Kanye West Were Planking On Millions On “Gotta Have It”

There might not be a better way to have capped off the tail end of the Roc-A-Fella era than a joint effort between a founding member and his most successful pupil. Kanye West and Jay-Z stood atop of the world when they dropped Watch The Throne in 2011, arguably the best collaborative album that’s emerged in hip-hop. The two rappers reflected on their accumulative successes, as well as the world that surrounded them. Moments like “Murder To Excellence” explored the wealth disparity in America while records like “N***as in Paris” remain timeless bangers that still go off ’til this day.

On “Gotta Have It,” Jay-Z and Kanye West reflect on the opulent life that rap has afforded them. With dazzling production from Kanye and The Neptunes, they flip three James Brown tracks into a hypnotic soundscape that perfectly serve ‘Ye and Hov’s chemistry. The Throne brings braggodocious bars that in many ways capture 2011, from Jay’s reference to planking on a million to Kanye’s mention of LeBron’s stint with the Miami Heat.

Peep the record below.

Quotable Lyrics

What’s up, what’s up, what’s up, what’s up, motherfucker? Where my money at?
You gon’ make me come down to your house where your mommy at
Mummy wrap the kids, have ’em cryin’ for they mommy back
Dummy that your daddy is, tell him I just want my racks
Racks on racks on racks (Racks)
Maybachs on ‘Bachs on ‘Bachs on ‘Bachs on ‘Bachs
Who in that? Oh shit, it’s just Blacks on Blacks on Blacks
Hundred stack, how you get it? N***a, layin’ raps on tracks

Sean O’Malley Reveals Whether Or Not He Would Fight Jake Paul

Sean O’Malley is becoming a massive star in the UFC thanks to his unique style and exciting fights. O’Malley hopes to become a champion someday and fans are expecting him to do big things over the next few years. With that being said, O’Malley stands to make a lot of money throughout his career, however, he is well-aware of the limitations set forth by Dana White and the UFC.

For instance, O’Malley recently sat down with Adam 22 on No Jumper for a conversation about his career and the current state of the fight game. O’Malley is good friends with Jake Paul, who is currently making a lot of money in the boxing world. As a result, Adam asked O’Malley if he would ever consider fighting Jake or another influencer if the money was right. While O’Malley is open to the idea, he is primarily focused on his work with the UFC.

Jake Paul

Katelyn Mulcahy/Getty Images

“I plan on staying with the UFC, they’ve been nothing but good for me,” O’Malley said. “If there is $10-$20 million bags out there being offered, you know we’ll see. The UFC don’t pay you like that, they just don’t. Eventually if I get to a Conor level and I can make that money, but I have to become champion, defend the belt, probably move up. […] I’m making good money from the UFC because they give me that platform. But if you want to make millions, it’s in boxing.”

Needless to say, O’Malley is happy right where he is right now. Of course, this could very well change, especially with just how fickle the fight game tends to be.
