Papoose Releases “July” Mixtape

Though Papoose has previously flirted with the idea of retirement, he clearly has a lot more to get off of his chest. The lyrical giant has been delivering new projects practically every month for fans who aren’t looking for a good hook or catchy melodies but those who simply want to hear hip-hop in its rawest form — beats and rhymes. Pap has continued to prove that his pen is as sharp now as it was when he first emerged, and on his latest effort, he makes sure to prove that alongside equally stellar MCs.

On Friday, Papoose released his latest project, July. With a quick eight songs in total, he enlists rappers like The Game, Smoke DZA, and Saigon to bring his latest effort to life.

Tony Baker’s Son Killed In Tragic Burbank Car Crash

Tony Baker is facing a devastating loss after a car accident claimed the life of his son and two of his son’s friends. The victims included Baker’s 21-year-old son Cerain, Jaiden Johnson, 20, and Natalee Moghaddam, 19.

The car crash took place on the night of Aug. 3rd. Cerain, along with two other passengers, were ejected from a silver Volkswagen after being hit by two other vehicles, a gray Kia and a black Mercedes Benz. According to the Burbank Police Department, the gray Kia and black Mercedes Benz appeared to be racing prior to colliding into the silver Volkswagen.

Upon The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroners office and Burbank PD’s investigation of the scene, the driver of the gray Kia “sustained serious injuries.” Meanwhile, the individuals in the black Mercedes Benz were unharmed.

NBC 4 Los Angeles caught up with Tony Baker and the rest of his family following the tragedy. The A Black Lady Sketch Show actor told the news outlet that Cerain’s death “feels like it’s not real.”

“We get waves of grief. We sob uncontrollably,” he continued to tell NBC 4. “Then it’s back to regular conversation.” Baker’s other son, Cencere, also weighed in on his brother’s untimely death. “Just a guy that everybody loved, so likable! I went to school with him, I’m just a year younger. You could tell how everyone liked him,” said Cencere.

Fragment x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle Dropping In Two Colorways: Photos

Fragment has been having a big moment as of late when it comes to sneaker collaborations. Recently, Fragment teamed up with Travis Scott and Jordan Brand for two iterations of the Air Jordan 1, and fans have been loving both models. A few months ago, it was reported that Fragment would also join forces with Sacai for two pairs of the infamous Nike LDWaffle which has become a beloved silhouette over the past three years.

Now, it seems as though some high-resolution photos of this collab have officially hit the internet courtesy of @brandon1an on Twitter. In the images below, you can see that this shoe is coming in a white colorway, as well as a navy blue model. Both shoes contain that signature LDWaffle look all while the double swoosh adds some nice touches to the overall design. Fragment branding can be found throughout both sneakers, and overall, Sacai and Fragment do a great job at bringing their aesthetics together into one cohesive shoe.

According to the tweets below, these kicks will be dropping this month, although nothing has been confirmed by the brand. With this in mind, stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the sneaker world. In the meantime, give us your thoughts on these in the comments below.

Kanye West Removes “Nah Nah Nah” From DSPs Amid DaBaby Controversy

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of DONDA, Kanye West’s 10th studio album that’s been previewed twice during public listening parties in Atlanta. However, the album has yet to hit streaming services as the release date continuously gets pushed back. Some believe this could be a tactic used to rival Drake’s CLB which the Toronto rapper appears to still be working on. As it stands, it looks like Kanye could be delivering his next body of work on Aug. 15th, per Apple Music, but nothing is ever guaranteed with Yeezy.

Unfortunately, it seems like Kanye is moving backward in his approach to releasing music. Just as fans demand a new album, the rapper has apparently removed his 2020 single, “Nah Nah Nah” from streaming services. Fans quickly noted how the song is no longer available on DSPs like Apple Music and Tidal.

There hasn’t been any reason surrounding its removal from streaming platforms but the move does come in the midst of controversy surrounding DaBaby. A few weeks ago, the Charlotte rapper was performing at Rolling Loud when he made some unnecessarily inappropriate comments targeting HIV & AIDS patients, as well as the LGBTQ+ community. The rapper did apologize about a week later but by that point, a slew of festivals had already removed him from their line-ups.

Kanye’s likely been too busy working on DONDA to absorb the public’s reaction to DaBaby’s comments but ‘Ye has been incredibly vocal about his stance against homophobia in hip-hop over the course of his career. However, Kanye’s also a vocal opponent of cancel culture so it seems a little out of character that he would remove a whole song out of his streaming catalog over controversial comments.

Kyle Kuzma Takes Subtle Shot At The Lakers

Kyle Kuzma is now a member of the Washington Wizards after being traded to the team in the Russell Westbrook deal. Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were all dealt to the Wizards in this move, and there is no doubt that the Wizards could use some more depth on their team. Now, Bradley Beal will have some battle-tested players alongside him, and it could make for an interesting season in D.C.

Over the past couple of years, Kuzma had been dealing with a diminished role in Los Angeles, and he has let his frustrations be known on numerous occasions. During a recent Q&A session on Twitter, Kuzma spoke out once again, and it’s clear he was ready to move on.

In the tweet below, Kuzma says “More than what I did the past two years I can tell you that” when asked about what he will be doing in Washington this upcoming season. Clearly, this was a shot at his playing time and his role within the Lakers lineup. Ever since Anthony Davis joined the team, Kuzma lost his rhythm, but now, he will get to showcase his talents with a younger Wizards squad.

Kuzma seems excited about his new opportunity with the Wizards, and with the Lakers going in an older direction, it’s clear that now was the time for Kuzma to go elsewhere.
