Though she won’t be touring around the nation as many other artists do in the wake of releasing a project, she did earn a prestigious Las Vegas residency where fans have been able to watch her perform. As you may recall, the initial kickoff to the series of concerts was rough, with the English vocalist revealing that production delays and the COVID-19 pandemic were to blame for her decision to postpone her shows.
While she clearly had reasons for moving her scheduled dates, at the time, many speculated the real reason for all the drama had to do with Adele’s relationship. Sources claimed that the mother of one and Paul were going through a rough patch and that she spent most of her time in rehearsal crying. Despite last year’s tragic situation, though, the couple appears to be happier than ever as of late.
Adele’s Wild Road to Residency
Last January, Adele faced her fears head-on and explained her residency dilemma in an emotional Instagram video. “I’m gutted — I’m sorry it’s so last minute,” she said through tears. “We’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that travelled to get [to the show]. I’m really, really sorry.”
In February 2022, the “Chasing Pavements” artist shut down gossip about feuding with her man on Twitter while announcing a huge TV sitdown with Graham Norton. “Oh, and Rich sends his love,” she cheekily added at the end of the message, making it clear her relationship was in a rock-solid place. Weeks later, engagement rumours ran rampant as Adele went to the annual BRIT Awards with an unmissable diamond ring on her finger.
Adele and Rich Paul Spark Engagement Rumours
Past rumours about Paul’s alleged proposal may not have been true, but according to gossip blog DeuxMoi, the pair may have actually taken their relationship to the next level recently. “Per my very reliable sources, I can confirm that yes, Adele and Rich Paul are planning a summer wedding!” they wrote on their Story on Sunday (February 27).
As DailyMail reports, the news comes after the blonde beauty was seen wearing a huge diamond ring, once again, at her concert earlier this weekend. It seems to be the same one from last year’s BRITs, though we’re still waiting for confirmation from the lovers themselves. Over the past few months, we’ve seen the foreign artist and her beau stepping out together frequently, from their date night at the Grammys to the Super Bowl in Arizona.
