How To Listen To Lil Baby’s ‘WHAM’ Deluxe Album

On Friday, Lil Baby asked — and answered — the question Who Hard As Me with his new album, WHAM. The album featured the Atlanta rapper’s long-awaited reunion with mentors Young Thug and Future on “Dum, Dumb And Dumber,” and saw him get back to his roots on focus track “F U 2X,” but as it clocked in at just 15 tracks, some fans understandably wanted more.

As it turns out, Baby was more than happy to oblige — but there’s a catch. The digital deluxe version of the album includes four additional tracks, including another feature from Future. As of now, the extended edition of the album is only available for purchase on Lil Baby’s Motown Records shop, which you can access here for $4.99.

If that still isn’t enough to satisfy your Lil Baby fix, the Atlanta rapper has even more good news on that front. Last month, as he prepared to release WHAM, Baby paid a visit to Lil Yachty’s podcast, A Safe Place, where he revealed his plans to release not just one, but two albums in 2025. “At first, I was telling people I was going to drop a double album,” he said. “Now, I’m dropping the WHAM album and Dominique album.” He explained the conceptual differences between the two projects as such: “WHAM is more me on some young n**** sh*t — fast cars, girls, jewelry, money. And Dominique is more the serious me, more personal. That’s a part of the new journey I’m on. I hate the word vulnerable, but I’m gonna be more open to my fans and my audience.”

The extended edition of WHAM (Who Hard As Me) is out now via Quality Control / Motown. You can get it here.

Drake’s Dad Sends Kendrick Lamar Fans Spiraling After Mysteriously Deleting Photo Of Granddaughter

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s fanbases are going at it once again, this time due to some of Drake’s father’s mysterious social media activity. This week, fans noticed that Dennis Graham deleted a photo he posted on Instagram all the way back in 2014. The photo featured a young girl, along with the simple caption, “My beautiful granddaughter.” Of course, this led to speculation that the child could have been the one Kendrick accused Drake of hiding on his track “Meet The Grahams,” which he dropped in response to “Family Matters” last year.

Fans note how much the child featured in the photo resembles Drake’s only known child, his son Adonis. While several commenters are convinced that she’s Drake’s, others point out that she could be one of his half-siblings’. This is unconfirmed, but seems to be a strong theory considering the lyrics of his recently released “Fighting Irish Freestyle.”

“My dad has another child, I told him that wasn’t my sister,” he raps. Many are calling the timing of all of this interesting, and are accusing Dennis of deleting his post to try to hide evidence. For now, all of this is purely speculative, and both Drake and his father have yet to address it. This is far from the first time one of the Grahams’ social media activity led to speculation, however.

Earlier this week, Drake also shared a cryptic post on his Instagram Story. This prompted theories that he’s at odds with the gambling company Stake. The post in question featured a blurry photo of a man wearing a tuxedo. “I’m about to get active again… Free Anita @stake,” it was captioned. Fans are also convinced that he has more Conductor Williams collabs on the way, and can’t wait to hear what’s to come.

Mal Suggests That LeBron James Tried To Contact Drake To Smooth Things Over

This Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef has gone beyond just these two heavyweights. Since the latter took the victory last year multiple subplots have taken shape. The most recent one we have are the issues Drizzy has with folks who switched sides on him. He’s especially taking aim at ones that showed their true colors in his eyes during the Lamar battle. These are all people who The Boy considered close friends too but cannot now because of their actions. LeBron James is the most glaring person he’s targeting and discussions about this are still running wild.

He was essentially exclusively addressed on Drake’s most recent freestyle, supposedly called “Fighting Irish.” If this is accurate, it’s even more of a response to LeBron James due his high school’s mascot being that. There’s some speculation as to why this song was leaked when it was, and it seems that the New Rory & MAL podcast has some insights. According to Rory, MAL had revealed in a previous episode that LeBron had played Kendrick’s “man at the garden” at his 40th birthday party due to Drake unfollowing him on Instagram.

Drake Looks Worse If How He Responded To LeBron Is True

MAL surmised that really got under his skin and had this ready to go a “couple” months ago. However, perhaps the most interesting nugget to discuss is that LeBron James supposedly hit Drake’s line. MAL poses that the Los Angeles Laker has attempted to make amends and talk things through. “I believe that LeBron has probably reached out through some avenues directly or however he can to probably have a conversation with Drake,” MAL said.

However, the podcast host believes that Drake isn’t really trying to hear any explanations from anyone at the moment. “This is [his] way of saying, ‘Fam don’t try to hit my line. This is what it is, this is where I’m at. Y’all knew what it was when we was at Mike Rubin’s party. Y’all knew the energy was different, I didn’t speak to nobody.’” MAL continues, “‘This is what it is, it ain’t no beef but we never going to be as chummy chummy and as cool as we were. You picked that side, stay over there.” None of this is confirmed, but fans are running with it and taking the time to clown Drake, and it looks like 2024 could be starting over in 2025.

Why Was YNW Melly’s Murder Trial Postponed Again?

It has been nearly two years since the first murder trial against YNW Melly ended in a mistrial, restarting the proceedings from the beginning. The rapper was charged with murder in 2019; prosecutors allege that Melly shot and killed two members of his YNW collective, staging the crime scene to make himself look like the sole survivor of a drive-by shooting.

Today, proceedings for the second attempt at the trial were postponed, according to local news. Broward County Judge Martin Fein offered Melly the opportunity to reconsider his representation, as his defense attorney, Ravon Liberty, has come under investigation for potential witness tampering. Melly — whose real name is Jamell Demons — now has until February 18 to decide whether to continue with Liberty or find a new attorney. As Judge Fein pointed out, Melly has been in jail for 2,159 days, so finding a new lawyer could considerably extend his stay. “The only other question Mr. Demons has to decide does he want to go forward with her, or does he want conflict-free counsel which he is certainly entitled to,” he said. However, if it’s found Liberty is responsible for witness tampering, that could happen anyway. The trial is set to begin in September.

Will Smith’s ‘Matrix’ Movie Tease Might Actually Be An Album Announcement Instead

Earlier this week, Will Smith set the blogosphere buzzing with a post on social media about his famed misstep in choosing to star in Wild Wild West over The Matrix. While some sources speculated that he was in the process of promoting a new film project involving the mind-bending sci-fi franchise, other observers assumed that it was the beginning of a Super Bowl ad campaign.

Now, according to Deadline, there is a third possibility: A new album. According to Deadline‘s sources, Will’s been working on a new full-length musical project, which one assumes he’ll be announcing in full at some point in the near future.

There’s evidence to support this suggestion; Smith debuted a new song, “Bulletproof,” in a performance at the 2024 BET Awards, complete with Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir. A month later, he shared another new single, “Work Of Art,” which features his son Jaden — an established musician in his own right — and indie rap stalwart Russ. Smith then ended the year releasing “Tantrum,” his second collaboration with Eminem’s favorite rapper, Joyner Lucas.

With all that in mind, it certainly does seem more likely that Smith is pushing his chips toward promoting a new album — although it isn’t out of the question that he’d announce it with a big-budget Super Bowl commercial, considering his resources and the increasingly crowded music space. He’s bet on himself before — and no matter what happens, there’s no way his next project is a bigger bomb than Wild Wild West.
