Charles Barkley Extends Contract with TNT Sports Beyond NBA Coverage

f

Charles Barkley must wait slightly longer for retirement as he re-signs with TNT Sports. On Tuesday, TNT Sports announced that Barkley has agreed to a new contract extending his tenure with the network beyond the NBA’s likely departure. “I love my TNT Sports family,” the 61-year-old basketball legend said. “My #1 priority has been and always will be our people and keeping everyone together for as long as possible.”

Last week, Barkley told The Athletic that he would consider staying with TNT only if it renewed his 10-year, $210 million contract. The network has agreed to his terms and plans to expand his role beyond NBA coverage. This includes March Madness coverage and potentially incorporating Barkley into NHL programming.

Barkley’s continued presence on TNT Sports is a significant win for the network, which values his charismatic personality and insightful commentary. Fans can look forward to seeing more of Barkley across different sports, further solidifying his status as a beloved figure in sports broadcasting.

Mike WiLL Made-It Drops Powerful New Single “high3r” Featuring Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty

Mike WiLL Made-It Drops Powerful New Single "high3r" Featuring Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty

Grammy-nominated super producer Mike WiLL Made-It takes listeners on an audiovisual journey with the release of the music video for his powerful new single “high3r” via Giant Music. Featuring Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty, “high3r” spotlights the hurdles while chasing fame and success with Mike WiLL’s production prowess providing the ideal backdrop for the dynamic duo’s expert lyricism and flow.

The music video for “high3r,” the lead single from his forthcoming “R3set” album, features solemn close-up shots of all three artists, interspersed with scenes depicting characters experiencing euphoric highs and deep lows. The chorus, with its lyrics “I wanna take you higher,” establishes the thematic backbone of the video, contrasting initial joy with the darker consequences of excess. Starting with a sense of optimism, the video gradually reveals the misfortunes of overindulgence, capturing the dual nature of pursuing elevated experiences and the inevitable repercussions that accompany them.

Through striking visuals and a compelling narrative, the video underscores the complex interplay between ambition and its consequences. This collaboration represents a significant moment in contemporary hip-hop, seamlessly blending the talents of Mike WiLL Made-It, Lil Wayne, and Lil Yachty into powerful supporting visuals for the somber yet electrifying record.

Ben Crump Issues Statement on Reintroduction of George Floyd Justice in Policing Act

Ben Crump to Announce Lawsuit Against FL Gov. Ron DeSantis Over AP African American Studies Course

Nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump has issued a statement following the reintroduction of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act in the United States Congress. The death of Sonya Massey has underscored the persistent issues with police conduct in America, even after George Floyd’s tragic death.

On July 6, Deputy Sean Grayson shot Sonya Massey in the face, killing the 36-year-old unarmed woman who had called the police to report a suspected intruder in her home. Grayson has since been indicted and charged with first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct.

Crump’s statement calls for urgent action and reform, emphasizing the need for comprehensive measures to address police misconduct and ensure justice for victims like Sonya Massey. The reintroduction of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act aims to implement critical changes to policing practices and accountability nationwide.

“As the George Floyd Policing Act is reintroduced to Congress, we stand at a crucial juncture in our nation’s history. This legislation represents a significant step towards addressing systemic racism and ensuring accountability in law enforcement. The tragic loss of George Floyd and countless others, including Sonya Massey, who was unjustly killed by police in her own home, must not be in vain.

“It is imperative that we honor their memories by enacting meaningful reforms. This act aims to enhance transparency, implement stronger standards for police conduct, and ultimately build a safer and more just society for all Americans. I urge our lawmakers to come together, transcend partisan divides, and pass this essential legislation. The time for action is now.”

TI’s Atlanta Arrest May Not Have Been A Case Of Mistaken Identity

Earlier this month, TI’s trip to an Atlanta airport took a bizarre turn, as he was mistaken for a man wanted for stalking and domestic violence. Reportedly, law enforcement responded to an active warrant from Baltimore for Clifford Harris, which is TI’s government name. He was arrested and taken to Clayton County jail, though his attorney got him out within hours.

“This case highlights a concern that the State’s Attorney has raised previously and uncovers legislative changes that should be considered to ensure fair and appropriate use of the court commissioner’s office, including allowing input from our prosecutors before an arrest warrant is issued,” a spokesperson for the Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office said of the debacle. “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the issuance of charges and the warrant in this case.”

New Details Of TI’s Arrest Revealed

TI’s Atlanta Arrest May Not Have Been A Case Of Mistaken Identity

Now, however, a new report by The Baltimore Banner suggests that this may not have been a case of mistaken identity after all. Aside from TI’s full government name, the woman wrote his birth date in court documents, accusing him and his wife of harassment. “I was hit and beat up punched, stalked and harassed me on the dates I gave,” Crystal Gorham Gorham wrote. “I was threatened to be murdered by this individual.”

This isn’t the only legal situation TI has been dealing with as of late, however. In July, he and his wife Tiny filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by an anonymous woman. She accuses them of drugging and assaulting her. They deny the allegations, and argued that “the statute of limitations for such claims has long expired.” What do you think of TI getting arrested earlier this month? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
