NBA Youngboy Gives Surprising Answer To Question About Rod Wave Collab

Earlier this week NBA Youngboy sat down for an interview with Bootleg Kev for his podcast. During the interview, the rapper gave a number of strange and attention-grabbing answers to questions. One of which was when he revealed that he’s not “really big” on the idea of fatherhood as a concept. Some fans found that pretty surprising as he has 11 different children. But others used that same fact as proof that the statement makes a lot of sense.

In another clip from the interview, he discusses a potential collaborative project with Rod Wave. The Florida rapper and singer has a pretty big year on the back of his new album Nostalgia. Youngboy had plenty of praise for Rod as well. “That’s somebody who will be forever winning in the game. I think he love what he do. I think he’s so positive. I think he’s so taking in to the people of how he feel,” he said of Rod Wave. But when asked about a collaboration between the two, he didn’t think it was the right time for a surprising reason. “I think that would be a setback for him. My image f*cked up. NBA Youngboy Says His Image Is “F*cked Up”

Elsewhere there were even more surprising claims in the interview. Youngboy has been under house arrest in Utah for more than two years now and he expects to one day be back behind bars. When asked about it Youngboy confirmed that he thought there was more jail time at some point in his future.

He did have some more normally interactions during the interview though. in one segment he cosigned Opium rapper Destroy Lonely. But he also told a story about almost being attacked by a wild cat when describing the difficulties of living in Utah. Every couple of years, folks on the internet collectively remember that T-Pain can actually sing, and every time, they go absolutely bananas. Usually, this is prompted by a video of the Tallahassee native performing that goes viral, reminding everyone that the man is still around and still very, very talented.

The latest example comes by way of a concert recording of his latest album, On Top Of The Covers, which he performed at The Sun Rose in Los Angeles last march. As usual, people are freaking out, but one of the artists he covers, Ozzy Osbourne, had a question:

“Why didn’t you guys call me?” he wrote on Twitter, after calling a video of the performance “the best cover of ‘War Pigs’ ever.”

Pain, who naturally saw the compliment, expressed his amazement and gratitude at receiving such high praise. “First thing I said was ‘wow,’” he wrote alongside a screenshot of the rock legend’s tweet. “This is an honor and the greatest form of validation. Thank you brother.”

Meanwhile, as one group of internet users is having their minds blown by the discovery that T-Pain can sing without his signature Autotune (something for which he once received such harsh criticism from Usher, he almost quit music entirely), another group of fans is getting their kicks being super smug about it. The commercial accolades keep coming for Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2. The rapper released her first new studio album in 5 years last month and it’s been a hit with fans. The feature-packed effort sports appearances from Drake, J. Cole, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. Songs like “FTCU,” “Needle,” and “Everybody” have already taken off on the Hot 100. In combination with hit singles like “Super Freaky Girl” and “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” the album racked up hundreds of millions of streams quickly.

Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj peeled back the curtain on her creative process during an Instagram Live. She broke down the songwriting process of one of the new album’s biggest hits, “FTCU.” It’s the same song that she revealed J. Cole took a particular interest in when she first played it for him prior to the release of the album.

It’s the same track that Nicki has been teasing an upcoming remix for. While she didn’t say who would be joining her on the song she did say it was a male rapper. That’s why after learning of his pre-release intrigue with the song many suspected that Cole was the artist joining her for a remix. Nicki hasn’t shared an official release date for the remix yet.
