Later this month, FX will debut the latest season in its long-running American Horror Story franchise. Delicate, based on the book Delicate Condition, follows actress Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) as she tries to get pregnant, eventually turning to a mysterious medical institute for help. However, after Alcott’s life begins to unravel, she begins to suspect if there is more at play. It promises to be one of the more dark and twisted stories the show has told.
A teaser was dropped earlier this year and it was later announced that the show would be split into two parts. It is believed that the split was necessitated by the SAG-AFTRA strike. However, now only a few weeks out from the premiere, FX has dropped their first full trailer for the show. It’s full of unsettling imagery while also only giving us hints of the plot to come. It also gives us plenty of series newcomer, Kim Kardashian. The series also adds Cara Delevingne to the AHS cast, while Zachary Quinto returns to the long-running horror anthology.
The trailer sets out what we’ve already mentioned. Anna Victoria Alcott is a successful yet still-ambitious actress who also wants a baby. However, her pregnancy is a complex one, made all the more complicated by the mysterious and sinister institution she chooses to work with. Furthermore, the trailer gives us our first proper look at Kardashian.
Kardashian plays Siobhan Walsh, who appears to be Alcott’s agent, manager, or similar. It’s unclear whose side Walsh is on. While she is never explicitly shown to us as working for the institution, that doesn’t make her any less sinister. At one point she can be heard asking “Do you want to win an Oscar? As much as you want to have a baby?” Meanwhile, Walsh is also seen at Alcott’s side many times as her world unravels. Only time will tell whose side Kardashian’s character is really on.
Beastie Boys have been chosen to receive a street name in their honor at the same place where the cover art for their second album ‘Paul’s Boutique’ was shot.
In collaboration with The City Of New York and Council Member Chris Marte, the event is being held on the corner of Ludlow and Rivington in NYC, which fans will recognize as the location of the album cover for Paul’s Boutique.
The event will include a DJ set from Jon Bless HiFi System, “pop-up activations,” and more, according to a press release. It will start at noon and end at 2 p.m. ET.
Fans will also be able to catch the first in-cinema screenings of Beastie Boys Story, the documentary that was directed by Spike Jonze and dropped on Apple TV+ in 2020. The film will play at IFC Center on Friday, September 8, and Saturday, September 9 at 11:30 p.m. — making it a way to keep the party going as a dedication to the band.
Finally, SiriusXM will be bringing back their exclusive Beastie Boys Channel on Thursday, September 7, where listeners can tune into channel 105 for “classics, deep cuts, live recordings and more.”

2010 was the beginning of a transformative decade for rap music, producing several timeless hits. Hip Hop evolved into a diverse and marketable genre, impacting not only the industry but also society and culture at large. Thanks to these hits, rap saw commercialization like never before in 2010. The decade also saw rap music become a dominant force in mainstream culture.
2010 had an abundance of quality rap hits released, and also ushered in a new wave of artists. Furthermore, rap entries on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart were in abundance. However, throughout the year, only eleven songs topped the chart. From the Nicki Minaj-assisted “BedRock,” to the alluring chorus of “Aston Martin Music,” these are seven of the chart-topping rap hits from 2010.
“Empire State of Mind” was actually released in October 2009. However, it crossed over into 2010 as the first of eleven rap hits to top the Hot Rap Songs chart. The song was a massive hit, topping not just the Hot Rap Songs chart for nine weeks, but the Hot 100 chart for five consecutive weeks as well. Furthermore, “Empire State Of Mind” was also Jay-Z’s first Hot 100 chart-topper as a lead artist. The Alicia Keys-assisted track quickly became an anthem for the city of New York. Today, it’s widely regarded as an iconic single in both artists’ discographies. The song celebrates NYC, and pays homage to its landmarks, culture, and atmosphere. “Empire State of Mind” went on to win two Grammy Awards, out of three nominations.
“BedRock” is the most successful single from the supergroup Young Money, and its most notable. The record label and collective at the time included members: Lil Wayne, Gudda Gudda, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga, and Jay Millz, all of whom had stellar rap verses on the track. The catchy hook of “BedRock” was sung by R&B crooner, Lloyd. Many of these acts have gone on to achieve widespread success today. Thus, it’s safe to wager that “BedRock” is one of the most important rap hits of 2010. The single topped the Hot Rap Songs chart for nine weeks, the longest of all the hits in 2010.
“Nothin’ on You” was released as the lead single from B.O.B.’s debut studio album. The song featured vocals from Bruno Mars, a newcomer at the time, who provided the unforgettable chorus. “Nothin’ on You” was a commercial success and helped launch the careers of both artists. Following a similar blueprint as other rap hits in 2010, it was aided by a singer’s input. Consequently, both stars became overnight successes, firmly situated in the mainstream. The love song topped the Hot Rap Songs chart for seven weeks. Furthermore, it topped the Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks.
Nicki Minaj has had many rap hits top the charts since “Your Love” in 2010. The Queen of Rap had previously made an appearance on the 2009 compilation album, We Are Young Money. However, it was with this single that she achieved commercial solo success. Furthermore, her debut album Pink Friday, helped cement her place in the industry as a rap superstar. “Your Love” was released as the lead single off Pink Friday. “Your Love” blended elements of Hip Hop and R&B, quickly showcasing Nicki’s versatility early on in her mainstream career. The song achieved commercial success, topping the Hot Rap Songs chart for eight weeks.
3. Eminem – “Love The Way You Lie” Ft. Rihanna
Upon release, “Love the Way You Lie” received widespread acclaim for its emotional depth and musicality. The song tackles themes of domestic abuse, and toxic relationships. It is an enduring piece of music that resonates with listeners around the world, even now. Eminem delivered powerful rap verses, and Rihanna matched him with her emotionally charged chorus. “Love The Way You Lie” was the second single from the rapper’s seventh studio album, Recovery. The song topped the Hot Rap Songs chart for eight weeks. Correspondingly, the song reached the top spot on the Hot 100 for seven weeks as well.
“Right Above It” was the lead single from Lil Wayne’s eighth studio album, I Am Not a Human Being. The song features Wayne and Drake delivering verses that touch on themes of success, fame, and overcoming obstacles. Additionally, the lyrics convey a sense of triumph and assertiveness, reflecting the artists’ confidence in their abilities. “Right Above It” achieved significant chart success, topping the Hot Rap Songs chart for five weeks.
1. Rick Ross “Aston Martin Music” Ft. Drake And Chrisette Michele
“Aston Martin Music” is one of the most notable rap hits of 2010. The song is also a standout collaboration in Rick Ross’ extensive discography. “Aston Martin Music” was released as the third single from Ross’ fourth studio album, Teflon Don. It was released to critical acclaim, and commercial success, and is considered one of Ross’ signature songs. The featured artists also respectively shine on the track. Drake garnered attention for his relaxed vocals, while Chrisette Michele delivered one of the decade’s most recognizable choruses. “Aston Martin Music” also vividly showcased Ross’ ability to craft luxurious and sophisticated rap tracks. It peaked at number 30 on the Hot 100 chart, and topped the Hot Rap Songs chart for three weeks.
Kim Kardashian has been an exceptionally busy person as of late. Overall, this has always been the case for Kim K. Firstly, she has her reality TV show which is almost always being filmed. Furthermore, you have her brand Skims, which is worth over $4 billion. From there, she has four kids to raise, while also making time for her sisters. Not to mention, she is going to be on the new season of American Horror Story, which a lot of fans are excited for. Needless to say, she has a lot to worry about.
Additionally, she constantly finds herself at the center of whatever controversy Kanye is getting himself into. Sometimes she has to answer for him, and she clearly does not like doing it. However, that is the situation she has been thrust into. That said, she has been doing things to keep her mind off of things. From going to Beyonce concerts to staying poolside, Kim K has some coping mechanisms. In fact, today, Kim decided to show off her most recent poolside outfit.
In the two photos above, Kim Kardashian can be seen wearing a tiny gold bikini top and bikini bottom. In the Instagram caption, Kim simply wrote “All that glitters is gold.” Subsequently, fans flocked to her comments to make complimentary remarks about her outfit, and her body. Although there were definitely some trolls in there, most people were nice. At the end of the day, Kim is a polarizing figure, so these kinds of polarizing comments are nothing new.
Hopefully, Kim will be able to enjoy whatever is left of the summer months. Depending on where you are, there is a huge heat wave right now, which makes tiny bikinis like this one very useful. Let us know what you think of Kardashian’s look, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the entertainment world.
Earlier this week, the Manning Brothers dropped a hilarious skit in which they interviewed various celebrities to join them as a co-host for ESPN‘s ManningCast this football season. The Manning brothers have a fantastic, must-watch alternate commentary track for Monday Night Football for the past two seasons and are preparing to do so again for the 2023 season. However, it appears that they might be looking to follow the trend of First Take and Undisputed and add a third permanent co-host to their team.
One of the celebrities to try out for the role during the skit was legendary rapper Lil Wayne. While his cameo is very short in the actual skit, a longer version of his audition was also posted. “Weezy F. Please say the Weezy, please say the F. Please say something. I’m so ready. You’re gonna love it. I’m gonna kill it… I’m a millionaire, I’m a Young Money millionaire,” Wayne says in the extended version. He also drops a little freestyle to show off his versatility. “I’m a Louisiana boy, I’m with the Manning boys and this is the ManningCast and I got a family pass.” Wayne guested on the ManningCast last year.
It’s unclear if the Mannings are actually looking for a third host, or if this was just a little bit of promotional material for their return to ESPN2. However, it’s the latest connection that Wayne has to sports media. Last week he made his debut as a guest analyst on Undisputed after Skip Bayless turned their friendship into a business partnership. Social media had an absolute time with it, especially after accounts like NBACentral referred to him as “NBA analyst Dwayne Carter”.
However, is the ManningCast a safer bet for Wayne’s media career? Last week, Front Office Sports reported that Undisputed had an absolutely dismal premiere week. 131,000 tuned into the season premiere of Undisputed, now anchored by Bayless, Richard Sherman, and Rachel Nichols. The following day, viewership dropped 8.4% to 120,000 viewers. Furthermore, viewership fell off a cliff on the third, falling another 35% to 78,000. A big problem for many viewers was that Bayless stepped back from the role of host to that of moderator, instead letting his newfound team do most of the debating.
Earlier this year quite a stir was created in the music industry by the presence of artificial intelligence. In April of this year, an AI-generated song using Drake and The Weeknd‘s vocals began to make waves online. It was called “heart on my sleeve” and was uploaded to YouTube by an artist named Ghostwriter. While fans were impressed by how accurately AI could recreate the voices and writing styles of both artists, it did bring up plenty of questions.
One of those questions was about its copyright status. Universal Music Group responded to the song calling it fraudulent and imploring fans to side with artists over AI. Eventually, they did win out as the original upload of the song was removed from YouTube. But it did open up plenty of debate as many other AI songs popped up in its place. Even artists like Meek Mill took the opportunity to praise the track saying that he had been listening to it a lot since it first dropped. Check out the song below.
Drake And The Weeknd AI Song Could Be Nominated For A Grammy
Now, even more, interesting news has emerged in regard to the song. Apparently, the artist behind it submitted the track for Grammy consideration and the award show deemed it eligible. While that’s no guarantee that it will actually secure any nominations, its acceptance opens the door for more AI music to possibly be submitted in the future.
“heart on my sleeve” even has the potential to be the only representation for The Weeknd at the upcoming Grammys. He hasn’t released a new album since 2022’s Dawn FM. His best bet to score a nomination is likely through either the soundtrack to his HBO show The Idol or his collaboration with Ariana Grande on the “Die For You” remix. Drake is much more likely to score a nomination with his collaborative project with 21 SavageHer Loss serving as a dark horse candidate for Album Of The Year. What do you think of the AI-generated Drake and The Weeknd song being ruled eligible for the Grammys? Let us know in the comment section below.
