Sexyy Red To Perform At 2023 “Days Of Summer” Cruise, Assist In Mental Health Workshop

Sexyy Red is scheduled to perform at the upcoming “Days Of Summer” Cruise Fest. The cruise, hosted by DJ Khaled, will take place from July 2-5, featuring various other performances and events. Future and Lil Baby headline the four-day excursion in the Bahamas. Other events on the cruise include various DJ sets, a comedy show, a workout class, several parties, and even a mental health workshop.

Sexyy Red will be lending a hand at the mental health workshop, which will be hosted by the founders of SoMypolar. SoMypolar is a non-profit founded by Melissa Duncan and Jihan Gabart, dedicated to servicing the mental health community. Sexyy Red has been making quite the splash since her breakout hit “Pound Town” went viral. She collaborated with Nicki Minaj last month, releasing a remix of the song called “Pound Town 2.” The track later garnered the attention of conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, who was shocked by it’s explicit lyrics.

Sexyy Red Joins The Lineup

This past weekend, Sexyy Red cut off her performance at Summer Smash early. She reportedly walked off the stage after getting annoyed that audience members threw various objects at her during the show. She later received backlash for the incident, with various social media users claiming that her walk-off was uncalled for. Other users claim that her reaction was completely understandable, as the crowd had no right to throw objects at her. Recently, she responded to the backlash on TikTok. Sexyy Red mouthed the words “whatever,” as she walked onscreen in the clip carrying stacks of cash.

The rapper also recently attended the 2023 BET Awards, and she made her presence known. She twerked in the aisles of the awards show alongside Chrisean Rock, who’s currently pregnant with Blueface’s child. She also gave the audience an impromptu performance of “Pound Town” as they cheered her on. Earlier this month, Sexyy Red dropped her new album, titled Hood Hottest Princess. The new LP features Sukihana, Juicy J, Nicki Minaj, and more.

Sexyy Red Will Join Fat Joe And Lil Baby On The Days Of Summer Cruise Fest

The Days Of Summer Cruise Festival has added another rising star to its upcoming slate. Sexyy Red will board the Norwegian Sky cruise ship in Miami along with previously announced headliners Future and Lil Baby and fellow new addition Fat Joe. In addition to her performance duties, she’s also signed on to help out at one of the other activities: a mental health workshop hosted by the founders of SoMypolar, a nonprofit organization that services the mental health community.

The workshop is scheduled for July 4th, with the cruise itself running from July 2nd to July 5th, sailing through Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay. The festival debuted in 2019 with Cardi B, City Girls, Dej Loaf, and Post Malone. There are still a few cabins left and way more activities on the itinerary, including a beach party on a private island, a pajama party, an all-white party, a hip-hop comedy show, and a hip-hop workout class. Sexyy Red’s addition to the cruise is just one more example of how quickly her star has risen this year after her breakout singles “Born By The River” and “Pound Town” took the internet by storm. Jacky Oh’s Plastic Surgeon Assures Patients Of Their Safety

Last month, Wild ‘N Out star Jacky Oh tragically passed away after complications from surgery. Now, the doctor who performed the surgery is trying to clear his name. According to Page Six, Dr. Zachary Okhah performed what’s known as a “mommy makeover” on Jacky. In a new Instagram video, Okhah reassures his patients. “Yes, my name has been in the tabloid media and understandably sensationalized given the circumstances,” he says in the video.

A few weeks ago the doctor came under fire when he first broke his silence. That statement read “To all my past, current and prospective patients, PH-1 Miami remains devoted to the highest quality medical care.” He received pushback on his statement from Jacky Oh’s family for failing to mention her in his statement. In his new Instagram video, he explains that decision. “Please understand that due to patient privacy laws, and out of respect for all my patients, there will never be mention of specifics, now or in the future, of any of my cases.” 

Jacky Oh’s Doctor Speaks Out

In the wake of Jacky Oh’s passing her husband and fellow WIld ‘N Out star DC Young Fly has made numerous statements. After initially thanking fans for their support during a difficult time he made a more fleshed-out statement tributing her as a mother to their children. He followed that up by giving a speech at her funeral that moved both the attendees and thousands of fans online. Those same fans found their own way to show support. After her death fans flooded Jacky’s beauty brand with so many sales that the website crashed.

DC Young Fly took another opportunity to pay respects to Jacky Oh. Recently a live version of his 85 South Show was released as a standalone Netflix special. Included in the credits of the special is a tribute to Jacky Oh. It comes in the form of a picture of Jacky, DC, and their children all together.
