Drake is gifting UFC fighters Molly McCann and Paddy Pimblett Rolex watches as a thank you for helping him win $3.7 million on a bet he placed on their recent fights. The Toronto rapper had bet on McCann to defeat Hannah Goldy, which she did with a first-round TKO, and on Pimblett to beat Jordan Leavitt, which he did via submission in the second round. The matches were held at the O2 Arena in London, England.
McCann and Pimblett confirmed that Drake had been in contact with them during an ESPN post-fight show.
“Drake is buying me and Paddy a new Rolex,” McCann said on the program.
Pimblett added: “We messaged him on Instagram and he was like, ‘Yeah, you are getting a Rolex.'”
The UFC also rewarded the two with a “Performance of the Night” bonus check worth $50,000.
Since partnering with the sports betting company, Stake, Drake has been sharing many of his bets on social media. Back in February, he bet $470,000 on the Rams to win the Super Bowl while adding another bet for $390,000 that Odell Beckham Jr. would have 62.5 receiving yards in the game. In the months since, he’s made several other high-stakes bets, including on the Stanley Cup Playoffs and more.

Stories of infidelity in celebrity relationships aren’t uncommon, and many cheaters will blame the temptations that come along with fame as the reason for their actions, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for JT and her partner Lil Uzi Vert.
The two have been romantically linked as far back as 2019, though during a recent meet and greet with “The Way Life Goes” hitmaker, a female fan boldly flirted with LUV, admitting to having forgotten about their relationship with the City Girl.
“We cute or whatever,” the blonde woman said to Uzi while recording a selfie video of them with her phone. Though Uzi smiled wide for the camera, they didn’t say anything to her cheeky comment.
When the fan laughed and got closer to the rapper, she asked, “Why are you so shy?” Immediately they responded, still grinning, “Because I have a girlfriend.”
The flirty stranger burst out laughing, writing, “[Please], I forgot Uzi was [with] JT,” in the caption of her upload.
Seeing as the famous couple has been flaunting their relationship to the public a lot more as of late, some speculative viewers are having a hard time believing that the fan truly forgot, though it’s obvious that the Red & White artist is happy in their current situation.

Last month, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking, racketeering, and seven other federal charges. The judge also ruled that when he’s released, he must undergo sexual disorder treatment and can have no contact with minors. Controversy and allegations have swirled around the R&B artist for years, and the dam finally began to break upon the release of the docuseries Surviving R. Kelly.
R. Kelly and his team were not happy about the release of the series, which featured interviews with several of the singer’s victims and detailed the crimes he had committed. R. Kelly’s now-former manager was one of the most upset, and threatened to “shoot up the place” where the screening was supposed to happen. Now, he’s been found guilty of threatening physical harm through interstate communication and faces up to five years in prison.
The manager, Donnell Russell, called in the threat to the New York theater NeueHouse Madison Square from his home in Chicago, said federal investigators. The private screening was going to be attended by some of R. Kelly’s victims and their families, and it was promptly evacuated and canceled when word came out that Russell had made the threat.
“The call was short. The defendant was to the point. And he was terrifying,” said Assistant US Attorney Lara Pomerantz during the trial. “Someone at the event had a gun and was going to shoot up the place. He wanted to keep these women quiet and he succeeded. His threat worked.” According to a recently unsealed complaint, Russell first tried to stop the screening by sending a fake “cease and desist” letter to the theater and trying to contact New York law enforcement.
Russell was exonerated on a conspiracy charge, but will be sentenced for the threat in November.

When it comes to debating the best diss tracks in hip-hop history, there are a few titles that regularly come out on top, though none more frequently than Ice Cube’s 1991 assassination of his former N.W.A. members on “No Vaseline.”
The song comes in at five minutes and 13-seconds and finds the Los Angeles native relentlessly addressing Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, MC Ren, as well as the group’s manager, Jerry Heller, for his shady business contracts.
“Lookin’ like straight Bozos / I saw it comin’ that’s why I went solo,” are among Cube’s first few bars that help set the scene of his departure from the famed group. “And kept on stompin’ / When y’all motherf*ckers moved straight outta Compton.”
More specific disses for his past collaborators include, “Yella Boy’s on your team, so you’re losin’ / Ay yo Dre, stick to producin’ / Callin’ me Arnold, but you been-a-d*ck / Eazy-E saw your ass and went in it quick,” and “Half-pint bitch, f*ckin’ your homeboys / You little maggot, Eazy-E turned f*ggot.”
As per usual, when XXL Magazine‘s Twitter account asked users to debate the best hip-hop diss track of all time, Cube’s release began trending on Twitter as people shared why they think “No Vaseline” simply can’t be topped.
“‘No Vaseline’ is the only right answer,” one person wrote. “He went for all the blood and basically destroyed what was left of N.W.A.” Speaking on 2Pac’s often suggested song, “Hit ‘Em Up,” the same user said, “[it] was cheeks.”
Another hip-hop head explained their take, writing, “‘No Vaseline’ and it’s not even close. Not trying to take anything away from tracks like ‘Hit ‘Em Up,’ ‘Ether,’ ‘Story of Adidon,’ or ‘Killshot,’ but – ‘No Vaseline’ is one dude coming for four dudes, and he annihilated them.”

Honestly, Nevermind has proven to be one of Drake’s more controversial albums. Some love the new, dance-oriented direction the 6 God has taken; others, meanwhile, are far less excited. It looks like one of the Spider-Men has fallen into the former camp.
In a recently posted picture, Tobey Maguire can be seen repping Drake’s latest project with a group of friends, all of whom are also wearing identical shirts reading, “Honestly, Nevermind.” In the photo, Maguire and his boys are out at sea, showing Drake love on the open ocean.
Tobey’s been friends with Drizzy for a while. He was spotted at the Toronto rapper’s birthday party back in 2017 with his old pal Leonardo DiCaprio, and additional photos show Maguire and Drake hanging out even father back than that.
Maguire’s music taste seems to be quite diverse, as the Cider House Rules star was also seen at a Billie Eilish concert earlier this year. According to insiders, he looked to be really feeling Eilish’s tunes as he watched the Los Angeles show from the balcony.
In 2021, Maguire reprised his iconic role as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film which proved to be a massive success at the box office. The actor is slated to star in the upcoming Apple TV series Extrapolations, an anthology which will depict the effects of climate change on the planet. The series will be star-studded, including Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Forest Whitaker, Edward Norton, and many more.

They say opposites attract, but it seems that 6ix9ine may have found a girlfriend whose antics are just as wild as his own.
The 25-year-old New York native is known for stirring up trouble, whether online or in real life, and on Monday (July 25) his partner shared a sweet photo of the couple with a controversial caption that’s certainly got social media users talking.
“No STD is worth catching if it’s not you giving it to me,” she wrote in a photo of them posing together at a race car track – modern romance at its finest.
Though Amber Rose was kind enough to leave some heart-eye emojis for the couple in the comments, others weren’t so pleased by what they had read. “Oh hell nah,” one person wrote with a thumbs-down emoji.
“Girl these captions are old and washed up. You got your attention,” and “[You’re] amazing girl, but [you’re] worth more than that mama,” others added.
While it certainly is out there, this isn’t the most questionable caption we’ve seen on one of Jade’s uploads in recent months. Late last year, in celebration of her birthday she shared some completely nude photos, writing, “I’m 25 and I still don’t got a job. All I know how to do is sell this p*ssy,” to go along with them.

Mutulu Shakur, the 71-year-old activist and stepfather to 2pac, has been given less than 6 months to live by doctors due to a rare form of blood cancer. Shakur is currently serving time in prison for a 1988 conviction for conspiracy to violate the RICO Act, bank robbery, armed bank robbery, and bank robbery-murder.
Shakur’s attorney, Brad Thomson, says doctors with the Federal Bureau of Prisons gave his client the bad news back in May. While he reportedly has multiple health issues, the biggest problem is stage-3 multiple myeloma. Shakur’s cancer treatment has stopped working.
“His health situation is extremely dire right now. He’s very much on an end-of-life trajectory. We’re looking at a matter of months at the most but, realistically, it could be a matter of days or weeks,” Thomson told NBC News. “At this point, the issue is getting him released so he can say goodbye to his loved ones, his family, his children, and grandchildren. To be surrounded by loved ones, so he can die in dignity, peace and comfort outside of prison.”
In November 2020, U.S. District Judge Charles Haight Jr. denied Shakur’s request for “compassionate release” due to the deterioration of his health, noting that his crimes were too serious.
“Should it develop that Shakur’s condition deteriorates further, to the point of approaching death, he may apply again to the Court, for a release that in those circumstances could be justified as ‘compassionate,’” the Judge said at the time.
