A Video Of Eminem Greeting Bobby Shmurda At A Show Has People Excited About What It Could Mean

On Friday, Eminem and Snoop Dogg released their new single, “From The D To The LBC,” with a partially-animated video that shows them turning into Bored Ape NFTs. So it’s only fitting that they performed the song together at this past week’s NFT-centric ApeFest 2022 in New York City. But a video of Eminem walking off the stage after the performance has people talking, and it’s not about NFTs.

As Em walks off, he greets a few people that were watching the set from the side of the stage. Cordae was among them, who gets a big hug when Slim Shady notices him and they exchange brief words. Then just as Em is about to keep walking, Bobby Shmurda, who was standing with Cordae, grabs Eminem’s attention shouting, “Big homie!” and the two dap up and have a quick hug as Em walks off and Shmurda sports a huge smile.

Given that Eminem and Cordae previously collaborated on remixes of “Killer” and “Parables (Remix),” people are speculating on Twitter as to whether this means that Em and Shmurda could have a track on deck? “Listen… an Eminem and Bobby Shmurda collab. I’d invest,” one person said. “Ain’t no way I just watched a video of Bobby Shmurda dapping up Eminem,” another added.

Meanwhile, other folks are laughing at the fact that Eminem nearly walked past Shmurda, saying things like, “Eminem Straight up did not know that was Bobby Shmurda standing next to Cordae last night Backstage at ApeFest2022.”

Regardless, the sheer happiness on Bobby Shmurda’s face (a dude who just spent almost seven years in jail and is back on the grind) at having a moment with Eminem, is something anyone with half a heart can get behind.

Cordae is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Kendrick Perkins Recalls Ray Allen & Rajon Rondo Boxing During Celtics Beef

Kendrick Perkins says that Boston Celtics stars Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen once fought with boxing gloves at practice to settle their differences. The former NBA player discussed the infamous beef during a recent appearance on JJ Redick’s podcast, The Old Man & The Three.

“When things started to go south, in my opinion, the first incident was when Ray was pushing so hard to trade Rondo for [Chris Paul],” Perkins explained. “It got back to Rondo. Right there we started having a little friction.”

He recalled: “We made Ray and Rondo actually box it out. They had so much beef. We got to the practice facility, we bought the boxing gloves, and they actually had to box it out.”

Just a few years removed from winning a championship with the Celtics in 2008, Allen left the team for the rival Miami Heat in 2012. He won a championship with the LeBron James-led squad in 2013 and had a scarred relationship with Boston for years.

Nowadays, Allen has mostly mended his relationships with his former teammates. Allen returned to Boston’s TD Garden, earlier this year, to help celebrate Kevin Garnett’s jersey retirement.

“I’m glad we got it back together now,” Perkins concluded. “Ray, you saw him at the Boston game, he went and supported [Kevin Garnett]. Everybody’s back on talking terms.”

Perkins played for the Celtics from 2003–2011. He eventually retired as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018.

Lil Fizz Of B2K Joins The Omarion Hate Train, “This N*gga Can’t Sing”

The Verzuz battle between Omarion and Mario is still a hot topic days after it took place. On Thursday (June 23), thousands of viewers tuned in to watch, what was called, “A Night of R&B.” While there was a little back and forth between the contenders on stage, the real drama has been going down on social media.

After the singing competition wrapped up, Lil Fizz, Raz B, and J-Boog, all members of B2K, a prominent boy band from the 2000s, took to Instagram to poke fun at their former bandmate, Omarion. They posted a clip from “The Temptations” with the caption, “@Omarion you got served.” Following this, Omarion referred to them all as his “background dancers” and instructed them to “get a job other than hating on O.”

Both Raz & Boog have taken to social media amid the insult and went in on Omarion’s career. They claimed that he wasn’t really singing on all of their records and that Chris Brown took his spotlight.

Now, the last pea in the pod has chimed in. Lil Fizz, whose real name is Dreux Pierre Frédéric, came late to the party because he was attending his son’s basketball game. He shared a video of his son hooping to accompany his diss at the “Post to Be” artist.

“I ain’t deleting sh*t,” he started, “for what? This sh*t fun and games, but if it’s smoke then it’s smoke.” The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star went on to create a list of his accolades. “I am who I am… a father, entrepreneur, B2K member.”

Honing in on the “background dancer” comment, Fizz added, “What I’m not is Omelons backup dancer, sh*t I can’t dance… Just like this [n*gga] can’t sing.” The “Omelons” remark was in reference to Omarion and his brother, O’Ryan, eating watermelons during the Verzuz battle.

As of now, Omarion has yet to respond to any of his former bandmate’s insults.

Foxy Brown Hints At New Music From Nicki Minaj: “My B***h Comin”

It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a full length LP from Nicki Minaj. Her last project, Queen, was released in 2018, and was a big event, including features from Eminem, Lil Wayne, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Swae Lee, and more. Since then, she released her 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, onto streaming services and has come out with a couple collab singles, like “Blick Blick” with Coi Leray and “We Go Up” with Fivio Foreign.

Now it looks like we might finally be seeing another album from Nicki. Minaj fans did some detective work after hip hop veteran Foxy Brown posted a cryptic story on Instagram.

“Nic just really made me tear tha f**k up like yooooo my b***h COMIN!” Foxy wrote on her IG story. “Love u and Papa 4 life.” The post caused a frenzy on Twitter, where it was reposted. Nicki fans began to decipher the story, arguing that it must mean Nicki has new music on the way. “OMGGGG NICKI IS COMING,” wrote @calzmaraj. The phrase began to catch fire, with “#NickiIsComing” trending on Twitter only hours after Foxy made the post.

It seems that the Barbz weren’t grasping at straws. Foxy Brown seemingly confirmed the rumors in a separate post, writing, “Y’all already know when we drop them albums it’s fucking murdaaaaaaaaaaaa.” This wouldn’t be the first time Foxy and Minaj have collaborated. On Queen, the two trade bars on the song “Coco Chanel.” While it’s been a minute since we’ve gotten a Minaj album, it’s been even longer since Foxy’s dropped an LP. He last project was Brooklyn’s Don Diva, which was released in 2008.

Kendall Jenner Posts Nude Tanning Photos On Her Feed Following Devin Booker Breakup

Kendall Jenner is officially a single woman again, after spending the last two years of her life in a relationship with NBA star Devin Booker. The duo recently flew to Italy together, where they attended big sister Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to Travis Barker, though it was just a few weeks later that they decided their romance likely wouldn’t end in the same fate.

In the days since their split became public knowledge, paparazzi cameras have caught the model out and about, headed to workout classes and carrying on with business as usual, and earlier today (June 26) she even delivered some cheeky content straight to her Instagram feed.

Though she didn’t directly comment on her newly single status, the reality star did bare her entire body for her 245M followers, kicking off her carousel with a picture of her sunbathing on her stomach, wearing nothing but a green cap on her head.

Photo two was a snapshot into Jenner’s second life as an equestrian star, showing her successfully riding a horse over a jump, followed by a quick video clip from an undeniably vibey sunset cruise.

After that, we saw a cozy-looking home interior, boasting plenty of wicker baskets and greenery, and finally, a platter of sushi to curb our appetite.

At the time of Booker and his girlfriend’s breakup, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the two “feel like they are on different paths” after speaking about their plans for the future and realizing they’re “not on the same page.”

“Kendall and Devin hit a rough patch recently and have been split for about a week and a half,” E! News added.

Sleepy Hallow Gets In An Insane Restaurant Brawl: Watch

It seems like Sleepy Hallow got himself into some trouble last week. In a video posted onto NYStateOfMind’s Reddit message board, the Brooklyn rapper and his entourage got into a crazy brawl with the staff of a restaurant they were dining at.

The video begins with Sleepy and his crew already in a heated argument with the restaurant workers at 1st RND restaurant located in American Dream, a mall in Rutherford, New Jersey. Multiple people hold the rapper back, and he throws something at one of the staff members. Then things get out of hand.

Sleepy begins to walk away, but the employee he threw something at returns the favor by hurling a chair in his direction. Sleepy subsequently loses what is left of his cool, running at the man and engaging in a fistfight off camera. Meanwhile, chairs soar back and forth across the restaurant as Sleepy’s entourage faces off against other workers.

A man who appears to be the manager is furious, screaming at the top of his lungs for Sleepy and his crew to leave the restaurant. “Get out! Get the f**k out!” He hollers, though his pleas are lost to the cacophony of chairs, signs, and insults being hurled around him. Finally, Sleepy and his crew exit, though not without the last word. “Suck my d**k, n****,” one of them says. They don’t leave a tip.

It’s unclear how the fight began. According to a tweet from a friend of one of the restaurant employees, Sleepy and his friends were rude to the workers and got upset when they had to wait for their food. It appears that Sleepy Hallow was arrested after the fight, but this has yet to be confirmed. Check out the friend’s comments below.

Megan Thee Stallion Calls Out U.S. Supreme Court At Glastonbury: “My Body, My Motherf*cking Choice”

Glastonbury Festival is in full swing over in England, with performances from some of the biggest names in music spanning over five days. Billie Eilish, Ziggy Marley, Paul McCartney, HAIM, Diana Ross, Lorde, and Kendrick Lamar were all tapped to perform, along with Megan Thee Stallion, who used her stage time to share a message with her home state after the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.

“Texas [is] really embarrassing me right now,” the 27-year-old admitted to her audience on Saturday night. “I wanna have it on the record, that the hot boys and hot girls do not support this bullshit y’all campaigning for.”

After airing out her feelings, Thee Stallion encouraged the crowd to join her in a chant of “My body, my motherf*cking choice” at the top of their lungs.

That’s not the only time the Houston native has spoken out in the past few days. Hours after Friday’s ruling was made public, she used her Instagram platform to urge followers to join Planned Parenthood’s Bans Off Our Bodies movement.

In the caption, she wrote, “The court has failed us all — but we won’t back down. I’m going to keep fighting because everyone deserves access to the care they need.”

Lizzo has also been publicly condemning SCOTUS’ decision, even promising to donate $500K from her upcoming tour (matched by Live Nation for a grand total of $1M) to Planned Parenthood and other essential organizations.

In lighter news, MTS showed off her incredible festival outfit on her feed, revealing that it was custom designed for her by Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci.

Elsewhere at Glastonbury Festival, pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo dedicated her performance of “F*ck You” to the U.S. Supreme Court as a result of their harmful decision – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

Travis Scott’s Team Responds To Astroworld Victim’s Family Over $5M Bugatti Purchase

Earlier today (June 26), it was reported that the family of Astroworld victim, 9-year-old Ezra Blount, was not amused by Travis Scott after he purchased a $5.5M Bugatti. According to the family’s attorney, Bob Hillard, the young boy would still be alive today, had Scott “spent half of what he paid for the [car] on simple safety measures at the deadly music festival.”

Hillard also classified the purchase as “excessive,” and recommended that all of Travis’ actions be questioned given the seriousness of the matter.

It didn’t take long for the artist’s team to become aware of the statements made against their client and issue a statement. According to TMZ, a rep for Scott referred to the story as “the latest attempt to exploit Astroworld victims and gaslight the media and the public.” Providing facts, the rep added that the expensive vehicle had been purchased back in 2020.

Not only was it bought far before the disastrous event that took place in November of 2021, but it was also widely covered by several media outlets, including TMZ— who initially reported the article regarding the victim’s family today.

Adding to their statement, the rep told the media outlet, “Misrepresenting a two-year-old car purchase to make an unprovoked and unjustified attack on Travis Scott is nothing more than another desperate publicity stunt to try to falsely blame Travis and intentionally manipulate public opinion, which won’t work.”

As of now, the family of Ezra Blount has yet to respond. HNHH will make updates on this issue as it unfolds.
