Snoop Dogg Cancels Remaining 2022 International Tour Dates

Snoop Dogg is one of hip-hop’s most beloved figures, and that’s a sentiment that echoes across the globe. Snoop’s global fanbase has turned him into a staple in the festival circuit, regardless of genre. Like most rappers, the pandemic prevented global touring, and just when he was preparing to embark on several international tour dates, he announced that he will not be performing outside of the U.S. for the remainder of the year.

Earlier this week, Snoop Dogg shared a statement on Instagram apologizing to his fans in the international community after having to cancel all remaining non-US tour dates.

“Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects, Snoop Dogg regrets he is canceling all upcoming non-U.S. tour dates for the remainder of 2022,” reads the statement. “He was excited to see his fans around the world and apologies to all that had already made plans to see his show. He looks forward to rescheduling the dates in the future.” Refunds for these shows will be available at the original point of purchase.

The news came just as Snoop confirmed a release date for his upcoming collaborative effort with Mount Westmore, the West Coast supergroup including E-40, Ice Cube, and Too Short. The album is expected to drop on June 7th, so we will have some vibes for this summer.

Jayson Tatum’s Favorite Finals Moment Will Piss Off Celtics Fans

Jayson Tatum is a huge Kobe Bryant fan and he has no problems with showing that. Whenever he has the opportunity, he shows love to the Lakers legend. He did so before and during Game 7 against the Miami Heat as he texted the legend before the match and he even wore a Kobe arm band which ultimately proved to be some good luck.

Prior to the start of the NBA Finals, Tatum was asked about which Finals moment is his absolute favorite. As you can imagine, he picked something that involves the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe. Down below, Tatum explains that it’s Kobe’s 2010 championship that always seems to give him that incredible feeling.

“Definitely the celebration with Kobe standing on top of the scorer’s table after he won his fifth table, throwing up the five. I felt like I won the championship that day,” Tatum said. “And when Ron Artest told everybody that he passed him the ball and he made that three in Game 7. That was iconic.”

In the clips below, you can see exactly what Tatum is talking about. These are moments that will forever live in infamy as part of Kobe’s incredible legacy.

Amber Heard’s Lawyer Says Client Doesn’t Have $10.4M Judgment

Amber Heard took a huge loss yesterday after a jury ruled in Johnny Depp’s favor. The actor sued his ex-wife for defamation due to an op-ed she penned for the Washington Post. Though Heard did leave with a tiny victory in her counterclaims, the jury awarded Depp $10.4M in compensatory damages and another $5 in punitive damages.

According to Heard’s attorney Elaine Charlson Bredehoft, her client doesn’t have the funds. During a recent appearance on Today, Bredehoft said her client was “demonized” throughout the trial. She suggested that even the jury was swayed by the common narrative, even though they were advised to refrain from consuming any media that would create any bias. When asked whether Heard had the funds to pay for the judgment, Bredehoft said, “No way, absolutely not.”

The battle is far from over, Bredehoft said. She said that she plans to appeal the verdict due to the “number of evidentiary issues” that could’ve worked in Heard’s favor.

“There was so much evidence that did not come in,” Bredehoft added. “We even had tried to get the U.K. judgment in to dismiss his case, because [Depp] already had his shot.”

After the verdict was revealed, Heard issued a statement describing the jury’s decision as a setback for women.

“The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence and sway of my ex-husband,” she said. “I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback.

Jack Harlow Now Has His Own KFC Meal

A couple of months ago, Jack Harlow announced his partnership with KFC. And so the “Jack’s Favorite’s” menu was born, which was a curation of “the menu items I’ve been enjoying since I was a child,” as he stated. “Partnering up with KFC feels like poetic justice,” he said. “I’ve begun traveling the world and no matter how far I go, KFC is one of the first things people want to bring up when they find out where I’m from.”

Now the partnership is taking a step further with the introduction of the new Jack Harlow meal. “From releasing Come Home the Kids Miss You and now launching my own meal at KFC, I’m having a super blessed summer,” said Harlow. “When KFC asked me to create my own meal, I knew it couldn’t be just any meal. My meal brings together my childhood favorites from growing up in Louisville, the KFC Mac & Cheese, with my new go-to Spicy Chicken Sandwich (with plenty of ranch), Secret Recipe Fries, and lemonade – it doesn’t get much better.”

CMO of KFC U.S. Nick Chavez added: “Jack has long been vocal about his passion for his home state of Kentucky, which is why this partnership is so finger lickin’ good. Jack Harlow fans, don’t miss out on this meal handpicked by Jack himself.”

It will be available across the states starting June 6.

Jack Harlow is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

LeBron James Has Reached Billionaire Status

LeBron James is one of the most powerful athletes in the world. Throughout his time in the NBA, he has been able to build an empire that includes sneakers, media companies, and of course, his legacy in the basketball world. He has earned millions upon millions of dollars throughout his career and recently, it was revealed that he had earned $1 billion over his career.

Of course, earning a billion does not make you a billionaire. Most people will earn $1 million over the course of their life, but that does not make them a millionaire. Having said that, it would appear as though LeBron has, indeed, crossed the billionaire threshold, according to Forbes.

The business outlet says LeBron made upwards of $121.2 million last year and that this is enough money to now make him a billionaire. Of course, this kind of figure was always going to be inevitable for LeBron, however, it is impressive that he has managed to amass this kind of wealth while still playing the game of basketball. Very few athletes can say that, but now, LeBron is one of them.

Once he is done playing, he will likely go on to continue his various ventures, which will make him even more money. After all, if Michael Jordan’s net worth is over $2 billion, there is no doubt that LeBron can get there, as well.

Kodak Black Declares Lil Uzi Vert His Brother By Marriage

Kodak Black and Lil Uzi Vert will forever be connected to one another as they were both on the 2016 XXL Freshman list. They ended up in the same cypher together and in the eyes of many, it was the greatest XXL cypher of all time. Since that time, they have both been able to build incredibly successful careers, and there is no doubt that they have a ton of respect for one another.

As it turns out, the two artists still keep in contact with one another. For instance, the two were recently on Facetime with each other, and Kodak went on to post the exchange on Instagram. He also made sure to include a hilarious caption that will certainly have people thinking about the City Girls.

“We’re brothers by marriage,” Kodak wrote. Of course, this could be a reference to the fact that Kodak has had a thing for Yung Miami, all while Uzi continues to date JT. The Kodak and Yung Miami stuff has always been a weird side story, and fans are definitely going to be thinking about it with this recent IG post. Hopefully, Yung Miami doesn’t take offense.

As for the friendship between Uzi and Kodak, perhaps it could lead to a new collaboration between the two, in the future. After all, who wouldn’t want to hear this given their long history?

J. Cole Takes Selfies With Fans At Toronto BBQ Spot

While there are plenty of rappers with the potential to join a professional basketball league, J. Cole is really making it happen. Upon the release of the Dreamville rapper’s new album, The Off-Season, he ventured into the Basketball Africa League to play for the Rwanda Patriots BBC. It was a short-lived stint that didn’t produce the best results but there were international eyes watching the BAL because of Cole.

Last month, it was announced that J. Cole would be playing for the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. The rapper’s already played a few games but it seems that he’s currently enjoying the city of Toronto during his off-time. He was already spotted grabbing ice cream and chicken sandwiches at Chen Chen’s Nashville Hot Chicken and Pai. However, it seems like he’s really doing the foodie tour across the 6ix. Most recently, fans spotted the rapper at a local BBQ spot and were fortunate enough to grab a flick with him. However, some people noticed that Cole was trying to accommodate his fans as quickly as possible.

In addition to his trips into the city, it’s rumored that Cole and Drake were spotted together in Toronto shooting a new music video. It’s unclear whether it’s for an unreleased collaboration or if Cole is simply making a cameo for a CLB cut. Needless to say, J. Cole is making the most of his time in Toronto.

Rick Ross Offers His Philosophy On Begging

Rick Ross is one of the most successful artists in all of hip-hop. He is a man who knows a lot about his craft and he has always prided himself on being a boss who knows how to maneuver in the business industry. He has made millions of dollars throughout his career and he certainly knows what it takes to get what you want, when you want it.

With this in mind, there is no doubt that Ross is the perfect person to give advice about the business world. In fact, recently, he took to his Instagram account where he offered some very sound advice on getting what you need for your future ventures. Effectively, he said the big key is to not beg for anything, as that will get you absolute nowhere.

“I already know how it go. That’s why I go hard, because I know how it go,” Ross said. “You could be in a room full of the wealthiest mutherf*ckas in the world and tell them, ‘I have nothing, I’m hungry.’ And they’re going to look at you and say, ‘Well what the f*ck are you doing standing next to me begging? Why the f*ck aren’t you working?’ ‘What the f*ck have you established? What have you done with yourself since the f*cking beginning of time? Where’s your brother, where’s your mother, where’s your father, where’s your f*ckin’ kinfolk? You don’t have any friends? You don’t have anything to establish yourself or worth something in anyone’s life?’ That’s what they’re going to tell you. So, if you think begging is going to get you something, you f*cked up.”

If there is anyone you should listen to about the business world, it should be Ross. While what he said might come across as harsh to some, this is definitely the stuff you need to hear.
