Ari Fletcher Disses Designer Accusing Her Of Ripping Off BET Dress: “Go Work On Your Craft, Weirdo”

Ari Fletcher is facing a tremendous amount of backlash for her BET Awards outfit. Though it wasn’t the most controversial look we saw (that trophy goes to Summer Walker), some fans did feel as though the mother of one looked more prepared for a vacation than to walk a red carpet.

To those people, she said, “Y’all ain’t never even seen a red carpet except the one y’all mama ordered off Amazon for your prom. Please don’t worry about what we wear and how we express ourselves. How you hating from outside the carpet? You can’t even step on one, hoe!”

Not long after, a designer pulled out receipts accusing Fletcher of failing to post a photo in a dress that she had previously sent her, also expressing that she felt as though the influencer’s BET OOTD was very similar in style to the one she had previously sent.

Sharing one of Ari’s photo dumps to her own story, @gigihuntercollection wrote, “@therealkylesister had me make her a dress in exchange for a post/tag – she ghosted me and kept the dress only to wear this fake knockoff of my brand LOL. Somebody better tell herrrrr.”

The 26-year-old’s red carpet look was a beige, crochet dress, and according to Hunter, she made Fletcher a black crochet dress that’s admittedly different in style, though both are great options for a trip to Tulum.

“This is the dress she had me make just to ghost me when I asked her when she was going to post it,” the designer alleged. “Who knows her? Because she can send it back now.”

Hunter also shared receipts of their text conversation (which took place over a year ago), in which Fletcher said she would wear the dress during her upcoming trip to the Bahamas.

Subsequent messages from the creative read, “You’re in the Bahamas. I hope that means you’ll be wearing the dress soon! Excited to see you in it,” (which earned an exclamation point reaction from Fletcher) and, a week later, “Hi Ari! Please don’t forget to wear it. I’ve been waiting for a long time. Thank you.”

“If you don’t like it or you’re not going to wear it can you please send it back?” Hunter asked in her final message. “I’m a Black woman designer and I hand-made that dress for you. I know you’re busy but I made it for you for free with the expectation that you’d post and tag me. If you don’t want to wear it I’d appreciate iff you could send it back please so I can sell it.

After the accusations against Fletcher got back to her, she was quick to share her side of the story. “That message is from May 25th, 2021 – over a YEAR ago,” she began.

“You OFFERED to send me a dress. We never had any agreement or contract or payments. You just OFFERED and I let you send a dress. I didn’t wear the dress because it’s ugly. I’m not obligated to wear nothing I’m not on contract for. Still stalking me a year later… Go work on your craft, weirdo.”

Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Role in Epstein Sex Abuse Case

Ghislaine Maxwell Found Guilty in Sex Trafficking Trial

Ghislaine Maxwell has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. According to Huff Post, Maxwell, a longtime friend of Jeffrey Epstein, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Alison J. Nathan. in a New York courtroom.

Prosecutors recommended a sentence of 30 to 55 years against Maxwell. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking, transporting a minor for illegal sex acts, and two conspiracy charges.

According to The Hill, inside the courtroom was three of Maxwell’s siblings who sat behind her.

Before committing suicide, Epstein faced allegations of sexual abuse from multiple women. Maxwell’s charges were isolated to the testimony of four women. The women stated they were abused as teenagers and recruited under the false belief of mentorship, leading to sexual massages and abuse.

Maxwell denied being a part of the abuse and claims, via her attorneys, to be used as a replacement for Epstein as he was dead.

Tyler The Creator Introduces New Golf Le Fleur Nail Polish Colors

Last December, just before the end of the year, Tyler The Creator announced the addition of nail polish to his growing Golf Le Fleur collection. Initially, the nail polish dropped in three colors inspired by the palettes of the rollout for Tyler’s album Call Me If You Get Lost: Georgia Peach, Geneva Blue, and Glitter. By all accounts, the drop was a success, and Tyler, never one to rest on his laurels, has already announced a new slate of colors along with some slick nail care accessories to go with them.

Tyler announced the new colors with a hypersaturated short film directed by Tyler (naturally) following a hilarious confrontation between a put-upon police officer and a (presumably) reckless driver who refuses to look for her license and registration until her nails dry. The new colors include Blonde, Jade, and Rose, and as usual, you can grab them on the Golf Le Fleur website. The site also offers nail top coats in glossy and matte and a metal nail file with a fancy-looking tortoiseshell-patterned handle.

Earlier this month, Tyler introduced his GLF 2.0 sneakers with Converse, selling out the entire run within minutes. Meanwhile, his new Golf Wang collection bringing back the baggy look of the 2000s also sold out rapidly, which is sure to only feed the demand for the next drop from the dapper Hawthorne native. Nipsey Hussle’s Suspected Killer Was Reportedly Beaten Up After Leaving Court

The murder trial against Nipsey Hussle’s suspected killer, Eric Holder, was delayed today as Holder was unable to appear in court while receiving medical treatment after being assaulted in jail, according to Rolling Stone. Holder was apparently attacked sometime after leaving court on Monday, June 27, sustaining serious enough injuries to keep him out of court today — and possibly even longer, with Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke warning jurors that they might expect further delays. Otherwise, they’ll be expected back in court on Wednesday for Holder’s last two witnesses.

They’ll be deciding on a charge of first-degree murder; Holder’s defense hinges on whether or not his attack on Nipsey Hussle at the Marathon Clothing store counts as “premeditated.” Prosecutors argued that, as Holder left the store following his confrontation with Nipsey over his reputation as an alleged snitch, then returned with a loaded gun, he fully intended to shoot and kill the entrepreneurial rapper. However, if jurors agree with Holder’s defense that the crime was not premeditated based on the evidence provided, then he may get off on a technicality, as he should have been charged with voluntary manslaughter.

Holder is also charged with attempted murder since two bystanders were also struck. He’s pled not guilty to all charges. If convicted, Holder could face life in prison. Closing arguments are scheduled for Thursday, after which the jurors will deliberate. In the meantime, Holder is supposed to be kept away from the general population of the jail; it’s currently unclear how he was attacked yesterday or the extent of his injuries.
