Michael Jordan Snubs Young Fans Looking To Get A Picture

Michael Jordan is one of the greatest athletes of all time and he is certainly the best to ever step on an NBA court. These days, Jordan tends to his business ventures such as being the owner of the Charlotte Hornets. He also has a NASCAR team called 23XI Racing which in just two seasons, already has two wins to its name.

Jordan is one of those people who barely appear out in public, although when he does, he is mostly surrounded by other famous people where he cannot be accessed by the general public. However, there are rare instances where he is spotted by fans which is exactly what happened in a Charlotte parking garage the other day.

In the video clip below, you can see a few kids waiting in a parking garage while on scooters. As it turns out, the kids were waiting for LaMelo Ball to come out as they were hoping to get a picture or an autograph from them. Eventually, it was actually MJ who emerged from the building and as you can imagine, the kids were pretty hyped.

They eventually asked Jordan for a picture, but in the end, he completely snubbed them as he simply said “no” before getting into his fancy sports car.

It was a pretty hilarious scene, and the kids didn’t seem too upset about it. After all, meeting MJ will forever be a story they can tell their friends and future kids.

After a Sunday runoff election, Francia Márquez will become the first Black vice president of Colombia. Márquez ran alongside Gustavo Petro.

According to Axios, the nation has a large Afro Colombian population, which has been marginalized by decades-old conflict across the country. In their history, Afro Colombians have been “are overrepresented in the numbers of forcibly displaced people and victims of violence.” One in 10 Colombians identify as Black, but misrepresentation could have hindered that number due to a census undercount. In addition, discrimination has discouraged citizens from identifying as Black.

Márquez is a lawyer and activity. In her career, she has been awarded the Goldman Prize for her work in environmentalism. Márquez has risen to the role of vice-president, overcoming local poverty, as opposed to other presidents who received education in other locations.

Márquez stated she ran for office “because our governments have turned their backs on the people, and on justice and on peace.”

A Key Witness In The Nipsey Hussle Trial Was Grilled By The Defense Over Mistakes In Her Testimoney

The murder trial for the man who shot and killed Nipsey Hussle is underway and yesterday, one of the prosecution’s key witnesses was cross-examined by the defense. Although Eric Holder’s lawyer Deputy District Attorney Aaron Jansen can’t truly deny his client pulled the trigger — there’s plenty of security video along with multiple witnesses — the defense hinges on Holder’s insistence that the murder was not premeditated, in which case he should have been charged with voluntary manslaughter. Holder pled not guilty to first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree attempted murder.

Jansen’s questioned the witness, Bryannita Nicholson, about discrepancies in her testimony on Monday, comparing her statements to her initial witness statements in 2019 and video from the crime scene. According to the Associated Press, Jansen took care not to accuse Nicholson of lying, only that she might be mistaken. It’s clear that his strategy is to create doubt about whether Holder intended to shoot the rapper when he had Nicholson park her car in a nearby alley.

Nicholson had accompanied Holder to the store, giving him a ride in her car, and said she witnessed an argument between Holder and Nipsey, after which they left, returning a few minutes later and parking in the alley instead of the store’s parking lot. Holder got out, leaving her alone, and returned after shooting Hussle, telling her to drive away. Nicholson has always maintained she had no idea that was his intention, and Jansen’s pressing on small details — the color of a truck in the parking lot at the strip mall where the Marathon Clothing store was located, the order of events during Holder’s initial confrontation with Nipsey — was intended to cast doubt on her reliability as a witness.

To that end, it’s reported Jansen did get Nicholson to acknowledge she didn’t see any violent signs from Holder and that she was never close enough to hear more than a minute of the men’s conversation, which she’d said in 2019 revolved around Nipsey accusing Holder of being a snitch. This was apparently what incited Holder to return to the store minutes later and fire at Nipsey, killing him and hitting two bystanders.
