Nicki Minaj Reportedly Signs Tate Kobang To Her Label

Nicki Minaj has been revving up for her next album since the top of the year. After releasing singles like “Do We Have A Problem” and “Bussin” with Lil Baby, fans have been awaiting news of her follow-up to Queen. It’s been four years since her last studio album, and in that time, she’s revealed some bigger plans to expand her empire.

Among those plans is her own record label and management company, which she revealed to Joe Budden earlier this year. Though she hasn’t divulged the roster of artists that she’s working with, it seems like one of the DMV’s brightest stars has officially landed a deal with Nicki. Tate Kobang took to Instagram where he confirmed that he signed with Nicki Minaj. “Welp thats cats out the bag,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “Yeah I just closed my deal and signed to Nicci as a artist. Damn.”

Nicki first hinted at the signing back in January when she went on Instagram Live and shared a massive shoutout to Tate. “I see you, Tate Kobang. I see you boo boo,” she said on Instagram Live. “It’s about that time to announce my record label, y’all.”

With Tate Kobang as Nicki’s first publicly announced signing, it’ll be interesting to see what other artists end up rounding out her roster.

Doja Cat Switches To Blond & Pink Hair In New Thirst Trap

Doja Cat is now one of the biggest artists in the entire world. She has numerous hits to her name and she has been cleaning up at awards shows. From the Grammys to the Billboard Music Awards, it is pretty well a given that Doja is going to come home with some hardware. Fans love her and it doesn’t seem like that trend is going to change anytime soon.

Since coming into the game a few years ago, Doja has been a style chameleon of sorts. She is constantly changing up her look, and the singer never disappoints. She and her team know exactly what works best for her, and that was certainly the case yesterday when Doja unveiled her latest style change-up.

As you can see in the Instagram post below, Doja can be seen wearing a small pink bikini bottom all while sporting a predominantly red tie-dye tank top. Perhaps the biggest change here is the fact that she is donning some new hair. Instead of her usual black and brown hair color, Doja has swapped over to blond, all while adding some pink streaks for good measure. Fans seemed to approve of the new look, and it is easy to see why.

Doja’s last album Planet Her was a massive success, and we’re sure new music from the songstress is on the horizon. With that said, stay tuned to HNHH for updates from the music world.

Fans Blast Normani For Working With Chris Brown in New Music Video

Normani

A cameo in Chris Brown’s newest video “We (We Embrace”)”  has created controversy among the 26-year-old ‘Wild SIde’ singer and her fans on whether she should be working with Chris Brown due to his abusive past.  In the music video which debuted on Tuesday, Normani and Chris show the two in a sensual dance and sharing a passionate underwater kiss while swimming fully clothed in a pool.  Fans were quick to criticize Normani for supporting 33-year-old Brown by agreeing to do the project with him, on Instagram describing working on the video as a “Surreal moment 🥺 thank you @chrisbrownofficial for trusting me. one for the fucking books.”  Although she received hi-praise from fans and her peers including Lala, and her former Fifth Harmony bandmate Dinah Jane.  But the majority of the comments were from fans who were not so supportive and bashed Normani for choosing to collaborate with Breezy.

Brown’s history continues to haunt him and probably always will. The singer has faced multiple accusations of violence against women. Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, requested a restraining order against the artist in 2017 and his attack against Rihanna in 2009 remains the most graphic accusation brought against the musician who pled guilty to assault and completed his probation in 2015.

Iman Shumpert Empathizes With Khloe Kardashian Over Tristan Thompson’s Cheating

Throughout the last few years, Khloe Kardashian has had to deal with numerous cheating scandals involving the father of her child, Tristan Thompson. On numerous occasions, Thompson has betrayed her trust, and now, it seems like they have stopped trying to make the relationship work. It has been a very difficult time for Khloe, and while Tristan has remained apologetic, there is no doubt he has already been given enough chances.

One of Thompson’s cheating escapades took place in 2018 when he was on the Cleveland Cavaliers. At the time, he was teammates with Iman Shumpert, who was recently a guest on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live.” On the shoe, Shumpert was asked about Thompson’s cheating, and how the team felt at the time.

As Shumpert explained in the clip below, this was not something that affected the team or morale in any way. Despite this, many players felt bad for Khloe as they got to know her during her time attending Cavs games. Iman and his teammates thought she was a great person and that it sucked to see her go through that.

“We all just felt for Khloe,” Iman said. “Khloe’s great, Khloe’s cool. And I don’t know what they got going on. I’m sure they speak, they’re grown. It was sad I remember feeling like that, it was sad.”

We’re sure Khloe will feel good about Shumpert’s response here as it just goes to show that there are people on her side. As for Thompson, it’s probably a bit strange for him to hear all of this for the first time.

Azealia Banks pops her shit through an eerie production, infusing the beat with trance-inducing songwriting.

OJ Simpson Reportedly Owes Alleged Victim’s Father $96 Million

Back in 1997, OJ Simpson was found liable for the death of Ron Goldman. Of course, during a criminal trial, Simpson was acquitted of murdering his wife Nicole as well as her new partner, Goldman. In the end, however, Simpson was sued for Goldman’s death and he lost. This led to a massive settlement in which Simpson was forced to pay Ron’s father Fred a sum of $33.5 million.

Over the years, Simpson has made payments here and there, however, just a few years ago, Goldman revealed that Simpson still owed him upwards of $57 million due to interest. This is a massive amount, and since that revelation in 2015, it appears as though Simpson still hasn’t provided many payments.

According to TMZ, Mr. Goldman has filed brand new legal documents, and he is looking to make $96 million from Simpson. The interest has gone up quite a bit and it seems as though Goldman wants his cash sooner rather than later. After all, Simpson is still making a living right now, and through the years, Goldman has waited long enough to get his money.

This is a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates.

Azealia Banks Says The Beyoncé “Break My Soul” Mash-Ups Are “Horrible”

Azealia Banks frequently ruffles feathers and faces backlash for some of her takes on current affairs but she’s an undeniably talented figure. The Harlem rapper pushes the boundaries creatively, even before it proliferates through mainstream outlets. Over the past few days, Banks became a trending topic following the release of Drake’s dance album Honestly, Nevermind and Beyoncé’s new single, “Break My Soul.” Fans have been giving their flowers to her and giving her the recognition she deserves.

Some fans have gone ahead with creating unofficial mash-ups between Beyoncé’s latest record and a few records from Banks’ catalog. One remix that’s popped up is a mash-up between “Break My Soul” and “Fuck Him All Night,” but it doesn’t seem like Azealia isn’t necessarily fond of it. The rapper hit her Instagram Story this morning where she requested that fans put a halt to these remixes. She went as far as describing them as “horrible.”

“Please for the love of God. Stop the Break My Soul AB mashups,” she wrote. “They are horrible.”

Earlier this month, Azealia Banks released her latest single, “I Rule The World,” produced by Shlomo. The Harlem creative shared her last project, Yung Rapunxel: Pt. II in 2019.

Does Azealia Banks get her just dues? Check out Azealia Banks’ post below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
