Jack Harlow Says Seeing His Collaboration With Drake Leak “Hurt My Feelings”

Jack Harlow says that it hurt his feeling to find out that his collaboration with Drake leaked ahead of the release of his new album, Come Home the Kids Miss You. The Louisville rapper discussed collaborating with his “idol,” during an interview on Ebro in the Morning for Hot 97, on Tuesday.

“It hurt my feelings,” he said about the leak. “I’m really tight about leaks. I don’t bounce my music so I haven’t had leaks in a long time.”

He continued: “Like I don’t write to my music while I’m working on an album, like it stays in the– The only time we get to experience it is in the studio… I don’t export demos because then you have, because you write to it and you can’t change it because you get addicted to a verse, and I don’t want no leaks.”

Harlow adds that Drake being featured on the track made him especially annoyed because he views the Toronto rapper to be one of his “idols.”

“Especially ’cause that’s an idol of mine,” he shared. “I wanted to control that moment… But, it’s destiny.”

Drake, on the other hand, wasn’t too bothered by the leak, according to Harlow.

He explained: “He kind of, you know, nudged me like, ‘Aye, don’t trip. This was meant to happen.’ I think [with] his experience, he let me know like, ‘You think this is going to affect your life? Like it’s fine.’”

Eric Holder’s trial has faced numerous delays in the past three years since Nipsey’s death. Holder was initially supposed to stand trial on Jan. 5th but it seems that nothing come out of it. Holder’s attorney, Aaron Jansen, explained that his client was nervous but understood that the case needed no further delays.

Holder already pleaded not guilty to all charges against him, including one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, a count of felony possession of a firearm, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Jansen revealed that his client was coping with “a substantial mental health issue” in the aftermath of his mother’s passing. He said Holder was “off his medication” on the day Nipsey Hussle was murdered.

Holder is facing a life sentence behind bars if he’s convicted.

We will continue to provide updates on the case.

Steve Kerr Calls Dillon Brooks “Dirty” After Breaking Gary Payton II’s Elbow

Last night was a very intense matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors. The Grizzlies ended up coming out with the victory as Ja Morant scored a whopping 47 points. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all entertaining as Gary Payton II went down with a pretty gruesome elbow injury.

As you can see down below, Payton was going for a layup when he was brought down from behind by Dillon Brooks of the Grizzlies. In the middle of the game, Payton was evaluated and it was revealed that he had a fractured elbow, which means he will be out for quite a while.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr went off on Brooks, calling the Grizzlies star “dirty.” Kerr feels like he broke the basketball code by doing that play, and that at the end of the day, Brooks is putting Payton’s safety in jeopardy.

“Well, I don’t know if it was intentional but it was dirty,” Kerr said. “Playoff basketball is gonna be… it’s supposed to be physical. Everybody’s gonna compete. Everybody’s gonna fight for everything but there’s a code in this league that players follow where you never put a guy’s season/career in jeopardy by taking somebody out in midair and clubbing them across the head and ultimately fracturing their elbow.”

This series is already getting very chippy, and it should be interesting to see how this all develops.

Chris Rock Cracks Will Smith Joke After Man Attacks Dave Chappelle

It was an eventful evening at the Netflix Is A Joke festival in Los Angeles. Everything was going smoothly until Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage. A man, who police say was armed with a replica gun and a knife, stormed the stage and tried to tackle the comedian. It didn’t take long for Chappelle’s security to drag the individual to the back of the stage where he received a public ass-whooping. Chappelle even joked that he got to stomp the man out.

It certainly wasn’t the type of incident that can be easily forgotten about. Foxx joined Chappelle on stage where he said that he thought the incident was part of a bit.

Chris Rock appeared on stage shortly after Chappelle and it didn’t take long for him to joke about his own experiences being attacked on stage. “Was that Will Smith?” Rock joked after grabbing the microphone from Dave.

Rock’s reference comes a little over a month after the viral moment on the Oscars stage. After cracking a G.I. Jane joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from alopecia, Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped him on national television. Rock has made a few remarks about the incident but said that he won’t speak on it any further without a bag. Meanwhile, the Academy placed a 10-year ban on Smith from attending the Oscars.

Ja Morant Hits Steph Curry With Some Trash Talk Following Huge Win

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies have been looking to prove themselves in the playoffs this season. After finishing second in the Western Conference, the team struggled against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which has some fans wondering if they really have what it takes to go out and defeat an experienced club like the Warriors.

In the first game of the series against Golden State, the Grizzlies ended up losing by just one point. In Game 2, they were able to prove they are a formidable opponent as they came out and defeated the Warriors, 106-101. Morant had himself a wild game as he scored 47 points, propelling his team to the victory.

Morant is a very energetic player and it translates into him being one of the best trash talkers in the entire NBA. With that being said, Morant decided to hit Steph Curry with some trash talk following the game. As you can see in the clip below, Morant has some words for Curry as he walks by him. It seemed to be very deliberate, and once can only assume the message Morant is trying to send right now.

This series is now headed back to Golden State, where the Grizzlies will have to up their game if they truly want to send a message to the Warriors. There is a huge experience gap here, and the Grizz will need to be on their best behavior, moving forward.

LAPD Says Chris Rock Won't Press Charges on Will Smith

Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage during the Netflix is a Joke Festival. The man had a replica gun and a knife and was immediately handled by security, leading to a broken arm. In the building were plenty of notable people, including Chris Rock, who joined Dave on stage and delivered a hell of a one-liner about the moment that just happened: “Was that Will Smith?”

cardi b and Billie Eilish

Cardi B went to Twitter to set the record straight on the alleged comment made by Billie Eilish seemingly calling her ‘weird” at the 2022 Met Gala after-party that Cardi hosted in the Standard Hotels Boom Boom Room.  Cardi made a statement on Twitter saying “I hate the internet cause one, how do y’all turn one of the most lit parties into drama?” Cardi tweeted after the video started circulating. “Two, Ocean eyes is the song I cater to my daughter. Three, Billie is my fuckin baby. Yesterday, from the met to the party, everything was drama free. Why do yallwanna turn everything into mess?”  See the video clip of the Billie Eilish moment below.

Cardi further clears up the rumors and proves that there was no bad blood between the two by also sharing the voice memos between her and Eilish, with Eilish explaining  the misunderstanding by saying she called the people around Cardi weird because everyone was coming around her shoving phones “into your ass, and I was like, look at her with your eyes.” Cardi could be heard responding with a voice memo back saying “The internet is trying to divide us they don’t understand that you’re my baby.

Ok, then, now that that is settled, we can all move on.

Eminem To Be Inducted Into Rock Hall Of Fame With Class of 2022

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has included Eminem as a member of its class of 2022. The final roster was announced by the Rock Hall on Wednesday.

“Unbridled controversy. Unparalleled talent. Unmatched superstardom,” The Hall writes to introduce Eminem on its website. “As the single best-selling artist of the 2000s, a 15-time Grammy winner, and the first artist to have ten consecutive Number One debut albums on the Billboard 200, Eminem’s accolades speak for themselves. His world-renowned status solidified hip-hop as the most commercially successful music on the planet.”

Eminem has been featured at the induction ceremony twice in years past. He first made an appearance in 2009 to give a speech inducting Run-D.M.C. into the Rock Hall, and again in 2021 to perform “Rock the Bells” with LL Cool J.

Last week, the Hall concluded voting for a fan ballot which factored into their final decision on the class roster. Eminem finished second place in the voting.

Other members of the class include Dolly Parton, Eurythmics, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Carly Simon, and Lionel Richie.

“Congratulations to our newest Inductees, and to all the fans who helped them get here,” the Hall wrote on its website, before announcing the date for the induction ceremony. “We’re excited to celebrate with you on Saturday, November 5th in Los Angeles.”

Beck, A Tribe Called Quest, Rage Against the Machine, Kate Bush, Devo, Fela Kuti, New York Dolls, MC5, and Dionne Warwick all failed to make the final cut, despite being nominated.

2022 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees React To Being Selected

This morning, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame announced its class of 2022 inductees, which features Eminem, Dolly Parton, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie, Pat Benatar, Eurythmics, and Carly Simon. As the news has made the rounds, some of the honorees have taken to social media to offer reactions.

Shortly after the news was shared, Ritchie wrote, “Being elected to @rockhall is an incredible honor. I would like to say THANK YOU to all of the voters, to all of my wonderful fans and to everyone at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Congratulations to all of my fellow 2022 inductees! #RockHall2022.” Duran Duran also shared a video filmed shortly after being informed of their induction, in which they express how “honored and thrilled and happy” they are.

Benatar, alongside husband and longtime musical partner Neil Giraldo, also offered a statement, writing, “We are thrilled and humbled to become part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame family. Thank you to everyone who voted especially the fans and congratulations to all the other inductees.” Annie Lennox of Eurythmics has yet to offer a reaction of her own but she did retweet some, including a message from an apparently official (but not Twitter-verified) Eurythmics account.

Parton has yet to offer a reaction, but a few days ago, after previously rejecting her nomination, she did note what she’d do if she did get inducted, saying, “Well, I’ll accept gracefully. I would just say thanks and I would accept it because the fans vote. But when I said that, it was always my belief that the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame was for the people in rock music. I have found out lately that it’s not necessarily that, but if they can’t go there to be recognized, where do they go? So I just felt like I would be taking away from someone that maybe deserved it, certainly more than me, since I never considered myself a rock artist. But obviously, there’s more to it than that.”

The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 5 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles before airing on HBO and streaming on HBO Max at a later date.

Pusha T Explains Why He’s Done With Drake Beef: “It Sounds So Old To Me”

Pusha T says that he didn’t want to “cheapen” his new album, It’s Almost Dry, by adding any bars directed at Drake. Push discussed his beef with the Toronto rapper during a new interview with GQ Hype.

When asked about an alleged diss from Drake on a recently leaked Jack Harlow track, Push said he’s moved on from the entire dilemma.

“I mean, my album is that good. I could never cheapen my album with [that],” he tells the outlet. “I’m cool now. Have a good time. It [even] sounds so old to me. The flow sounds old, the shots don’t even—like what is that? That ain’t a warrior talk.”

He added that he’s done engaging in the back and forth: “Never engaging. Never. I can’t. Bro, I’ve been here [before]. I’ve seen how it goes. It’s been too long, too many people been called. I’m never engaging with anybody’s time. Everybody’s on my time. Everybody. And right now, I have the best rap album. I sound the freshest, I sound the newest, I sound the best of everybody.”

Shots between Drake and Pusha T kicked off back in 2018, with both artists dropping diss tracks aimed directly at each other. On “The Story of Adidon,” Pusha T famously revealed that Drake has a son named Adonis.

Elsewhere in the interview, Push discussed losing his father in March, just four months after his mother.

“Oh man, it feels just very heavy every day,” he admits. “There’s not a day that it hasn’t felt heavy. You wake up, and it’s right there.”

All-in-all, Push says that he’s focused on the next chapter of his career and is transitioning into a new era.

“This is a new era for me, for sure,” he says. “And by the time the transformation is done [my craft] will be mastered and ready. You’ll have a niche product.”
