Charlamagne Ridicules Worker For Watching Saucy Santana Twerk Videos

Charlamagne Tha God has surely ruffled some feathers on his radio show, The Breakfast Club. With co-hosts Angela Yee and DJ Envy, the trio talks about everything from celebrity gossip to politics. They also interview some of the hottest people in the industry– which oftentimes sparks up controversy.

Their latest interview was done with Saucy Santana, an LGBT rapper who recently signed to RCA records. During the nearly hour-long sit-down, they discussed his come-up in the industry, new projects he’s working on, and how he opened up for Latto on her tour.

Despite all the positivity they discussed regarding Santana’s career, one specific part of the interview is trending on social media. Near the end of their talk, Charlamagne brought in one of his employees to introduce him to the artist. When he stepped through the door, Charla said, “He really enjoys your twerk videos.”

Thrown off by his introduction, the “Walk Em Like a Dog” rapper yelled, “You buggin’ the f*ck out.” “I’m not lying,” the 43-year-old stated, “I’m dead serious… He actually said to the room, ‘Y’all don’t be watching Saucy Santana twerk videos?”

Santana asked the worker, who Charlamagne referred to as Art, if he enjoyed the content, to which he responded, “It’s entertainment. I thought it was funny.”

After things got silent, Angela Yee chimed in and said, “I don’t even know why he did that. He was just minding his business.” In his defense, Charla claimed that he wanted him to keep the same energy since he was in front of the rapper.

Once social media users caught wind of the moment, they began giving their opinion. Some felt that the host did nothing wrong, and that it was to be expected since he is a radio personality. Others were outraged. They claimed that it was tasteless for Charlamagne to expose someone knowing the size of his platform.

Fans asked Santana how he felt during that part of the show, and he tweeted, “I was so nervous. I ain’t know what was going on.”

DaBaby Charged with Battery Over Alleged Music Video Attack

DaBaby is facing criminal charges for allegedly assaulting a man who tried to stop him from shooting a music video on his property.

The “Rockstar” rapper has been charged with felony battery by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office over the December 2020 incident. Gary Pagar claims that DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, rented his Runyon Canyon home on condition that no more than 12 people would be on site.

However, Pagar alleges that DaBaby violated the terms of the rental agreement when he showed up with over 40 people, including a film crew, to shoot a music video for his artist Stunna 4 Vegas’ “Play U Lay.”

On Dec. 2, Pagar paid a visit to the home and tried to shut down the production by talking to DaBaby before he was allegedly attacked by someone in the rapper’s crew. TMZ has obtained footage that shows a man pummeling Pagar to the ground before Stunna 4 Vegas breaks up the fight.

According to the lawsuit, DaBaby ordered the man to stop before allegedly punching Pagar in the face, knocking out his tooth. In addition to being assaulted, Pagar claims he was spat upon and claims that the assailants taunted him by tossing around his phone.

Another man named Thankgod Awute was charged with felony robbery. Prosecutors claim he was DaBaby’s cohort in crime.

In February 2021, Pagar sued DaBaby for assault, breach of contract, and thousands of dollars in property damage. His manager was also named in the suit.

This is the latest drama for DaBaby. He recently made headlines after new video surfaced from his fatal 2018 Walmart shooting. DaBaby claimed he acted in self-defense when he shot and killed 19-year-old Jaylin Craig, but the unearthed security footage raises questions about his version of events.

Earlier this month, he allegedly shot an intruder who trespassed at his home in Troutman, North Carolina. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Saweetie Says She Misses Her Old Boo

Saweetie has been laying low for a minute now, but all it took was one Instagram post for her to shake some things up.

The “My Type” rapper posted a photo dump of her wearing a colorful outfit onto IG. She sported a dark pink, satin spaghetti strap top with green, burgundy, blue, and pink sweatpants. To accessorize, she had on a purple cap, held a blue clutch, and wore blue furry, clog heels. To top it all off, the Icy Girl had to add on some diamonds around her neck and wrist.

Despite the fit of choice, it wasn’t her style that caught everyone’s attention– it was her caption. Saweetie, whose real name is Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, wrote, “i miss my old boo but I ain’t gone tell him.”

The first person to pop into everyone’s mind might have been her most recent partner, Quavo. The two rappers sparked dating rumors back in 2018 and confirmed their relationship shortly after in the same year. They quickly became a star couple, getting matching grills and gifting each other cars. However, the two called it quits last March after Saweetie revealed that she suffered too much betrayal while being with the Migos member.

Now, while Quavo might have been her last relationship, he isn’t the only celeb that Saweetie could be referring to.

According to Popsugar, the California native had a four-year relationship with actor Keith Powers. She claimed they dated between the ages of 18 and 22, but broke up because things were too toxic. Being that Powers just recently split from his girlfriend Ryan Destiny, Saweetie could be referring to him.
The 28-year-old entertainer was also in a relationship with Justin Combs. It is said that they began dating in 2016, but it was never revealed why they broke up.
Who do you think Saweetie is missing?

Maliibu Mitch & B-Lovee Drop Drill Record

Maliibu Mitch is a rapper with a lot of flavors. Being of African American, Vietnamese, and Filipino descent, the 31-year-old entertainer knows how to adapt to different types of music.

In her newest single, “Slide,” Maliibu hops on a bass-thumping, drill record to show her diversity. As the suspenseful beat starts, Mitch comes in with an intro. In a deep voice she raps, “Tell him to pull up b*tches ain’t move none. If he outside tell him to slide…” as drums begin to overtake her lyrics.

The North Carolina artist uses her first verse to shout out a couple of the most prominent female rappers in the industry. Bragging about the recognition she receives, she spits, “The OG’s be feeling me. Nicki be feeling me, Foxy be feeling me because I’m matching their energy.” Before she slides into the chorus, Maliibu makes it known that she has haters who wish to take her spot.

After the catchy hook repeats itself twice, B-Lovee, a Bronx rapper, comes in with aggression. The 20-year-old’s verse consists of him talking about going after his enemies and not falling for women. He rhymes, “F*ck that we spinning block after block. F*ck that we smoking opp after opp.”

Stream the single on Apple Music or Spotify now, and watch the visuals below.
