Charlamagne Tha God Reacts To Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock
In a recent episode of Brilliant Idiots, Charlamange Tha God and Andrew Schulz add themselves to the long list of celebrities opening up and giving their raw, unfiltered opinions regarding the incident that shocked the world at the 2022 Oscars. With many publicly praising Will’s actions or criticizing him and sticking up for Rock, the Brilliant Idiots and their guest star, Kendra G, went into depth, giving their two cents about the situation.
While people jump to their own conclusions and make their own assumptions about what’s really going on behind the scenes with Will, Charlamagne explains that, “we as people judge [other] people’s totalities of their whole lives based off these bits and pieces of what we get,” leading people to try and piece together “what would make Will Smith snap,” although Charlamagne points out “that joke was 1% of why Will Smith went up there and smacked Chris Rock.”
“If you’ve ever read Will Smith’s book, if you’ve ever watched Will Smith’s YouTube videos,” Charlamagne continues. “Will Smith has talked to y’all so many times about feeling like a coward his whole life. Feeling like a punk his whole life. It stems from his childhood, when his dad used to beat on his mom and he said he’d never intervened. And he’s had to live with that forever.”

Looking at the situation from a different light, Charlamagne even touched on the pressure Will has lived with since being The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and how being in the spotlight can truly impact someone’s mental health and well-being. “If you see somebody like Will Smith, at 53 years old, and they have a meltdown like that at The Oscars, on the biggest night of their career, on such a huge ass stage. If he’s breaking down and going through it mentally, what the f**k does that say for the rest of us?”
Keeping the focus on mental health, Charlamagne follows up with the questions, this time expressing concern for Chris Rock. “Who’s checking on Chris? …How do you think Chris feels in that moment?” While Charlamagne acknowledged the fact, “you can’t tell somebody how to react,” he also expressed that he didn’t think Chris deserved the smack across the face.

Patrick Mahomes Breaks Silence On Tyreek Hill Trade
Patrick Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire league, and he has certainly been aided over the years by some amazing weapons at wide receiver. Of course, his main weapon is none other than Tyreek Hill, who was just traded to the Miami Dolphins. Now, Mahomes is going to have to play without one of the best players in the entire league, which is certainly going to be difficult. Not to mention, the AFC West keeps getting better, which means Mahomes will have to up his game.
Recently, Mahomes got to speak to Sports Illustrated where he went in-depth on Hill’s departure. Mahomes noted that he was pretty surprised by it all and that he was very disappointed to see his man go. Mahomes also went on to say that Hill is a phenomenal talent who will be missed by the franchise.

“It more surprised me whenever it got to the point where we were really considering trading him,” Mahomes said. “They kept me updated the entire time; I knew the extension talks were going on. And then I knew when he got the permission to seek to get traded. But I mean, still, I played my entire career with Tyreek, so definitely, there was a little bit of shock when he got traded.
“At the same time, they kept me involved the entire process, and I know that we made a tremendous effort to try to keep him in Kansas City. Tyreek, he’s such a tremendous player, he got what he deserved. I’m happy for him. And he’s at a place where he has a home and he’s closer to family and stuff. So I’m very happy for him. We had to move forward.”
The Chiefs still have a very solid roster, however, Hill’s departure definitely leaves them with a huge hole that will be very hard to fill. It’s going to take a while before the Chiefs are able to reckon with their star wide receiver’s absence.

Cuban Link ReEnacts Tiffany Haddish’s Clapback At Oscars Reporter
As the hype surrounding Oscars weekend is still in full effect, people are continuing to crack jokes about every little thing that went down. Earlier today, Cuban Link hilariously re-enacted Tiffany Haddish’s red carpet moment from the weekend where she checked a reporter on a comment made about her dress.
During the night of the Oscars, Haddish quickly interviewed with Entertainment Tonight‘s Lauren Zima as she made her way down the carpet.
Zima was interviewing the stars at the 94th Academy Awards when she noticed Haddish changed from the outfit she’d previously worn that day.
She asked the Girls Trip star about her “little costume change” and by the look on Haddish’s face, it’s clear that the wording of Zima’s comment may have irritated her a bit.
“I’m not wearing a costume, I’m wearing Dolce and Gabonna,” said Haddish. “It’s called an evening gown darling.”
“No one’s paying me for this, I paid for it. This is custom; this is not an acting gig, this is my life,” she continued.
Shortly after the interview took place, the clip began to go viral, with many social media users commending the clapback, despite Haddish’s seemingly calm demeanor.
“Check. Her. The audacity (rolling eyes emoji),” one user wrote.
“I’m not even the biggest Tiff fan but I smiled a big grin when she gathered her,” another user replied.
A few hours ago, Cuban Link, fitness trainer/influencer and current girlfriend to 50 Cent, decided to join in on the jokes around this clip when she posted an Instagram reel of herself wrapped in a towel (to mimick Haddish’s dress), reenacting the hilarious moment.

This isn’t Cuban’s first time acting up Instagram. She’s previously posted herself re-enacting viral sounds, all for laughs of course.

Much like his girl, 50 Cent has posted goofy videos on Instagram of himself trolling Cuban Link. The two have also shared videos of them laid up with each other being silly as well.

What do you think? Did Cuban Link nail her Tiffany Haddish impression?
Joyner Lucas Pays Homage to Kanye West on ‘Ye Not Crazy’
Joyner Lucas is coming to Ye’s defense.
After paying tribute to Will Smith on his 2020 single “Will,” the rapper is showing his support for another hip-hop icon, Kanye West, with his latest single “Ye Not Crazy.”
In the video, Joyner recreates Ye’s famous masked looks from his DONDA concerts. He raps on top of a Sherp ATV, another Ye signature, in one scene and even morphs his and Ye’s faces together.
“How do you spell crazy? G-E-N-I-U-S,” he raps. “What you know about mental health when you live in hell and you out of meds? / What the f**k is a meltdown when my meltdown is on a private jet?”
The self-proclaimed underdog shares how Ye inspired his hustle. “Labels ain’t wanna sign a check / Then I got on my Ye shit, turned every no to a solid yes,” he adds before name-checking Ye on the hook.
“Hold up, Ye’s not crazy … Even if they try to cancel me, that ain’t gon’ faze me.”
Joyner, whose last project Evolution dropped in October 2020, recently made headlines when he went off on Lollapalooza and Machine Gun Kelly, who he called a “goofy ass ni**a.” He later apologized for his rant.
