Drake Bet $100,000 On Duke Getting Revenge On North Carolina In The Final Four

One of the most highly-anticipated games in Final Four history will take place on Saturday night. The Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels will go head-to-head in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the history of the sport’s greatest rivalry. If that wasn’t enough, legendary Blue Devil coach Mike Krzyzewski is slated to retire at the end of the team’s run, and to add yet another wrinkle, the Tar Heels took down Duke in Durham earlier this year in the Coach K’s final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

So, yeah, lot going on! It’s a game that has the attention of the entire sports world, and thanks to his Instagram account, we know that Drake is going to be watching intently. He is, of course, a huge basketball fan, but as he showed, Drake is ultra-confident in the Blue Devils getting revenge in New Orleans, as he threw down $100,000 on Paolo Banchero and co. moving on to the national championship game to take on the Kansas Jayhawks.

Duke is favored to win — the fine folks in Las Vegas have them as 4-point favorites, while KenPom also projects a victory by four points. But as we all know, weird things happen in rivalry games, even if we’ve arguably never seen one with stakes quite this high.

Camila Cabello Reflects On Treatment From Paparazzi In Heartfelt Post

Camila Cabello says that she went through one of her worst experiences at the beach over the weekend when she was followed by the paparazzi. The singer reflected on the incident with a lengthy Instagram post, in which she discusses the effects the media has had on her mental health.

“Every time I’ve gone to this beach club in Miami I get papped – somehow when I check in paps know and get me in my bikini and every time I’ve felt super vulnerable and unprepared – I’ve worn bikinis that were to small and paid no mind to how I looked, then saw pictures online and comments and been so upset,” Camila began her statement.

She continued: “I reminded myself when it impacted my self esteem that I was thinking the culture’s thoughts and not my own. A culture who has gotten so used to an image of what a ‘healthy’ woman’s body looks like that is completely not real for a lot of women.”

Cabello went on to say that, despite trying to handle the situation intellectually, its hard not to get emotional when dealing with constant negative feedback.

Colin Kaepernick Speaks Out After Throwing For NFL Scouts: “I Can Still Play”

Colin Kaepernick says that he can still play in the NFL after throwing the football in front of scouts on Saturday during halftime of Michigan’s spring game. Kaepernick was invited to perform by the school’s coach Jim Harbaugh, who worked with Kaepernick during his tenure with the San Francisco 49ers.

“We still get out there and sling it,” Kaepernick told WXYZ Detroit. “Really, getting out here for the exhibition was to show that I can still do it. It’s one of the questions my agent keeps getting, so we want to make sure we can come out, show everyone I can still play, still throw it.”

As for how Kaepernick is trying to convince teams to give him a shot: “That I can help make you a better team. I can help you win games. I know right now the situation likely won’t allow me to come in and step into a starting role. I know I’ll be able to work my way to that though and show that very quickly. To the teams that have questions, more than anything I’d say I’d love to come in for a workout, I’d love to sit down with you and have that conversation about how I can help you be a better team.”

Kaepernick has been vocal about hoping for an NFL comeback throughout the offseason. Last month, he met up with Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett for a workout.

Denzel Washington Reflects On Speaking With Will Smith After Infamous Chris Rock Slap

Denzel Washington says that he couldn’t help but speak up after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards, last Sunday. Speaking at T.D. Jakes’ leadership summit on Saturday, Washington explained his lesson about the devil that he told Smith after the infamous incident.

“Well, there’s a saying, ‘When the devil ignores you, then you know you’re doing something wrong.’ The devil goes, ‘Oh no, leave him alone, he’s my favorite.’ Conversely, when the devil comes at you, maybe it’s because he’s trying to do something right. And for whatever reason the devil got ahold of that circumstance that night,” Washington said.

Washington was spotted alongside Tyler Perry speaking to Smith during the Oscars’ commercial break. Later in the night, Smith thanked Washington for his words of support during his acceptance speech for best actor.

“There but for the grace of God, go any of us. Who are we to condemn? I don’t know all the ins and outs of the situation, but I know the only solution was prayer,” Washington continued.

As for why he stepped in, he said: “I couldn’t have sat in my seat. No way I could have sat in my seat. That’s just not who I am.”
