Mike Tomlin Gets Snippy With Chase Claypool After Recent Suggestion

This season has proven to be a very difficult one for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they are currently on a bit of a losing skid. In fact, they recently got blown out by the Cincinnati Bengals, and it has many fans worried about the future of this team. Ben Roethlisberger simply isn’t cutting it anymore, and most of the players on the team just aren’t giving it their maximum effort.

After Sunday’s loss, wide receiver Chase Claypool had an interesting suggestion for the team as he said they should play music at practice. He feels like music is good at keeping the team loose, and he says it is sorely missing when the guys are training.

As you can imagine, this received some major pushback from head coach Mike Tomlin, who is very much against the presence of music at practice. Today, Tomlin even told reporters that Claypool should just stay in his lane.

“Claypool plays wide out and I’ll let him do that,” Tomlin said. “I’ll formulate the practice approach and I think that division of labor is appropriate.”

At this point, it’s clear that the Steelers are in a bit of disarray, and even Tomlin is flustered. After some frustrating seasons, it feels like the Steelers could be on the verge of a rebuild, very soon.

Bobby Shmurda Says He Needs Sex Therapy

Bobby Shmurda has just begun to rev up the new era of his career this fall, frequently dropping songs like early September’s “No Time For Sleep (Freestyle)” and “Splash,” released on Nov. 5. All of these releases are presumed promotional singles for his upcoming album, which he told his fans was in the mixing and mastering stage in October.

In the midst of this effort, it seems like Bobby has been having himself some fun too. Videos of him twerking and dancing excitedly evoked strong fans reactions recently. But, Bobby seems more concerned about another aspect of his post-prison life.

On Sunday (Nov. 28), Shmurda tweeted about his sex addiction, candidly saying he needs therapy soon: “I need sexx therapy #Baddd I need to be stopped lol frfr tho on the set.”

This tweet came only three days after he had said he wanted to make a raunchy strip club hit with Adele, because her voice made him excited: “You Know what the world needs …. #BobbyShmurda & #Adele to make a Strip Club Anthem.”

Just last month, Bobby was giving his male fans pointers about how to improve their sex lives by not being “too stiff.”

Perhaps he took his own advice too seriously. While it is great to see Bobby loving life after spending so many years behind bars, it is also a good thing that he acknowledges the problem he has with his hyper-sexuality.

Does Bobby’s tweet about needing sex therapy concern you?

DJ Khaled Pays Fashionable Tribute To The Late Virgil Abloh

DJ Khaled recently celebrated and made tribute to renowned designer Virgil Abloh, following the stylist’s recent passing after a longtime, private bout with cancer. Abloh was 41-years-old.

“Bless up Virgil. Virgil, we love you,” Khaled said behind his camera, recording two pairs of Abloh’s iconically designed Off-White sneakers, the Nike Air Rubber Dunk and a pair of custom Abloh Air Force 1 Lows.

“We’re going [to] continue blessing the world with your greatness. Thank you for everything you’ve done, for all of us,” Khaled said, showcasing the Off-White branded shoes as trophies in celebration of Virgil, his life, and his talents that have and will continue to influence fashion and culture for generations to come.

Khaled wasn’t alone in paying homage to the late Abloh, the former artistic director of the menswear collection at Louis Vuitton. Fans and other celebrities alike shared an outpour of condolences and kind words for Virgil Abloh, out of respect for the person, and the impact in which he’s made.

Khaled ended the video explaining that he had Abloh in mind when preparing his outfit for the coming weekend, and simply wanted to show his love and appreciation for the man behind the popular designs.

“Virgil man, we love you brother,” Khaled said. “We love you brother.”

Drake Made A Surprise Appearance During Giveon’s Toronto Show — Which Even Surprised Giveon

Although Long Beach-bred R&B singer Giveon was well on his way to a healthy recording career before connecting with Drake, there’s little doubt that the superstar’s cosign on their Dark Lane Demo Tapes collaboration “Chicago Freestyle” helped launch Giveon to a new level of stardom himself. So it’s fitting that during Giveon’s Toronto tour stop, Drake — the city’s unofficial ambassador since 2009 — made a surprise appearance, popping out from backstage to greet his hometown crowd and bless the show during a performance of their collaboration.

Funnily enough, no one seemed as surprised as Giveon when Drake appeared from the smoke on stage to wrap him up in a bear hug as he played the piano. Although Drake quickly returned backstage, Giveon was left grinning bashfully as the crowd continued to cheer for his surprise guest.

Giveon himself later posted an Instagram Story expressing his disbelief at the sneak attack, writing, “Can’t believe my brother surprised me tonight! Toronto! I love you guys. So much love every time!”

Drake has had a habit of surprising collaborators and artists he enjoys, although it hasn’t always gone to plan. In 2019, he bestowed his blessing on YSL rapper Lil Keed in Los Angeles and at DaBaby’s Toronto tour stop, and in 2020, he popped out at Post Malone’s show in Toronto. However, fans at Tyler The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival booed him after waiting at the main stage all day in hopes of catching Frank Ocean. He took the moment of humility in stride, joking that he’d put in a 10-year residency at the festival if Tyler let him. Fortunately, this time around, he didn’t have to.

Bobby Krlic Wants His Unconventional Sound To Start A Conversation

You’ve likely heard Bobby Krlic’s sound, even if you don’t immediately recognize his name.

It’s unnerving, the music Krlic creates – a sonic mélange of oppressive bass and teeth-clenching drone metal that brews a heady mixture of dreamy hypnosis and sinister pandemonium. Krlic’s melodies are the sort that belong in horror movies, building an audible sense of dread as main characters unwittingly confront death or the demonic… or Swedish cults.

It’s a good thing then that the musician, producer, and composer can count director Ari Aster as a fan. The pair connected on Aster’s recent horror hit Midsommar, with Krlic crafting the movie’s soundtrack and scoring some of the most unsettling images we’ve seen on film in a long time.

But he didn’t begin his career expecting to match wailing strings and orchestral wind instruments to stories about unlucky tourists. In fact, he can chart his love affair with music to his early childhood. Krlic remembers having a guitar in his hand by age six. His parents, both musicians, encouraged him to follow his artistic passions. He played in different bands in high school and, by the time he reached college, he knew that music was what he wanted to study and perfect. Even then, however, Krlic wasn’t sure there’d be a space for his experimental sound.

“I kind of imagined that the music I made was probably too strange,” Krlic tells us. But that didn’t stop him from pursuing it. In fact, it made him that much more determined to forge his own path in the industry, reaching out to production houses and eventually dropping his own album under the stage name The Haxan Cloak.

“I’ve always had an attitude of, if somebody says no, I’ll just keep trying until somebody eventually says yes,” he explains.

Eventually, people did start to say yes. A lot.

Krlic has produced music for everyone from Troye Sivan to Khalid. In 2013, he got a call from famed film composer Atticus Ross to work on scoring a couple of movies, which led to work crafting the sound of popular TV shows like Snowpiercer and The Alienist. He’s released more music under The Haxan Cloak, and his work with Aster on Midsommar has earned him plenty of acclaim – and an Ivor Novello award.

To hear Krlic talk about his wholly original sound is to hear an artist testing his own limits. He often refers to music as simply “a conversation” and he sees his role as a composer in a very serviceable, almost utilitarian way.

“I see music and art and culture as just this ongoing conversation, one that I would love to, in any small way, keep contributing to and keep pushing forward,” Krlic says. “I try and concern myself with something that I want to see or hear, that I’m not seeing or hearing currently. That doesn’t mean that it has to be this grandiose thing, it just means no one’s doing that like I want to.”

He’s built his own sonic style by staying true to his creative instincts, even if that means challenging the status quo and breaking some rules. Actually, when it comes to Krlic’s music, it’s about breaking all the rules. That, in part, is why being chosen as one of The Next 9 by Porsche seems to humble him so much. When asked what that kind of recognition means for his art, he’s quiet, thoughtful, and intentional with an answer.

“Being part of The Next 9, I think what we’re really talking about is a shift of the culture,” Krlic begins. “I think it’s people who are not concerned with the here and now, they’re just concerned with what’s next and what hasn’t been seen yet.”

Krlic’s urge to create art that defies convention isn’t about earning clout for himself as a musician and composer. Being noticed by a brand like Porsche is flattering of course, but his deeper desire is to inspire more artists to embrace the things that make them original and make their art meaningful.

“You can be utterly true to yourself and you can still resonate with people,” Krlic says. “I view music, art, film, culture, and fashion as a way of bringing people together and asking questions. That’s what I hope I’m doing.”

Roddy Ricch Reveals “LIVE LIFE FA$T” Cover Art

We’re practically a week away from the two-year anniversary since Roddy Ricch released his debut album, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. It’s an album that propelled him to the top of the Billboard charts and turned him into a household name. However, fans have been eagerly awaiting his sophomore release while his critics are curious to see whether Roddy Ricch will fall victim to the sophomore slump.

After releasing singles like, “Late At Night” and “Heartless,” the rapper has continued to tease the release of his forthcoming album, which he revealed would be titled, Live Life Fa$t. Most recently, he hinted that “it’s time for another one” once his debut album hit 100 weeks on the Billboard 200.

Earlier today, the rapper subtly unveiled the cover art for his forthcoming project on social media. Instead of sharing a post on Twitter or Instagram where fans could get a clear glimpse of the artwork, the rapper changed all of his profile pictures to the official cover art for Live Life Fast

Though no release date or tracklist for the project has been released, Roddy Ricch hinted that the project would contain 18 songs in total with a run time of 51 minutes.

Hopefully, Roddy Ricch slides through with his new album before the end of the year or, at the very least, swings through with a new single. Check out the cover art below.

Omarion Starts Trending On Twitter After COVID Variant Confusion

Omarion has only released one song in 2021, that being “Ex” with 2000s legends Bow Wow and Soulja Boy in early October. However, he now finds his name everywhere today, for a completely unexpected reason.

This week, the United States and the CDC have put out warnings about a new COVID-19 variant named Omicron. As they have done with all the other variants, they gave it a name in the Green alphabet. Omicron first appeared in South Africa, and soon made its way to the United Kingdom and recently Canada.

As many of us Americans are not totally familiar with the Greek alphabet, people on Twitter mistook the name for Omarion, the iconic and beloved R&B singer. So, even though new dangerous COVID-19 strains are no laughing matter, people began poking fun at Omarion, and he soon started trending on Twitter.

There were tweets that utilized Omarion’s funny dancing in his notable concert performance that had already been meme’d, as well as old music videos.

Next, there were tweets that utilized this hilarious confusion to promote getting a COVID booster shot, which is now available to the public.

Lastly, people just outright want to end the confusion by permanently changing the variant to “Omarion.”

Omarion must have been genuinely confused when he went to check why he was trending on Twitter. As they say though, all publicity is good publicity.

Check out some more Omarion variant tweets below.

Kemba Walker For John Wall Trade Could Be On The Table: Report

Yesterday, it was revealed that Kemba Walker would be taken out of the Knicks’ rotation due to less than stellar play out on the court. Walker has had his fair share of issues this season, and it was becoming clear that he just wasn’t cutting it when you consider the Knicks’ depth. Now, Walker’s status in New York is up in the air, and according to some sources close to the team, they could be contemplating a trade.

Knicks fans aren’t exactly against this, and they will certainly encourage such a trade given who might be on the table for them. Recently, a report from Bleacher Report stated that the Knicks are thinking about linking up with the Rockets on a trade that could bring John Wall to the Big Apple.

Wall is in the midst of trade and buyout negotiations with the Rockets, and he would much rather be traded, at this point. While Wall is not a sure thing at this stage in his career, he would certainly serve as an upgrade. The Knicks are trying to stay afloat in a harsh Eastern Conference, and Wall could provide some extra fire power.

Of course, these are only rumors at this point, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest news and updates from around the NBA.
