Willow Smith’s Hot Halloween Look Paid Tribute To Brad Pitt’s “Fight Club” Character

The most recent celebrity to join the list of those who created an iconic cult classic movie Halloween costume this year is Willow Smith, who channeled Tyler Durden, a character played by Brad Pitt in the 1999 film, Fight Club. The starlet nailed the imitation, but still managed to bring some of her own sex appeal to the look.

Daily Mail reports that the 21-year-old spent the evening , which also happened to be her 21st birthday, celebrating at Catch LA. She wore high waisted brown trousers with a slim black belt below a printed button-up shirt and a red leather jacket, both of which remained open to show off the model’s bold, braless chest.

Chunky black boots, large red sunglasses, a cigarette, and fake blood completed the incredible costume, which Willow didn’t hesitate to show off to her followers on Instagram. “I want you to hit me as hard as you can,” she captioned her post, showing off her attire form the evening from various angles.

In one of the pictures, the “Whip My Hair” singer removed her sunglasses, showing off bruise-like makeup around both of her eyes, and blood dripping out of her nose. The post has received nearly a million likes and almost 5,000 comments of people gassing up the Los Angeles native for her never-ending creativity.

Funnily enough, another famous face paid tribute to an iconic Angelina Jolie (who happens to be the ex-wife of Pitt) character this Halloween. “Have Mercy” singer Chloe Bailey dressed up as Lola from Shark Tale – a sultry fish who seduces Oscar (voiced by Willow’s own father, Will Smith). Small world, huh?

What do you think about the 21-year-old’s version of Tyler from Fight Club?

Aaron Rodgers Will Have Part Of His Salary Paid In Bitcoin

Over the last year, Bitcoin has had a huge run-up in value as it was around just $10,000 USD this time last year. Since that time, Bitcoin has reached an all-time high of $67,000 and at the time of writing this, the currency sits at above $60,000. Needless to say, the cryptocurrency is having a huge moment and investors are loving their gains. As a result, there has been a huge push for widespread adoption, and some of the biggest financial companies in the world are buying BTC to fit the demand.

Cash App has been a big advocate for Bitcoin, and now, they are teaming up with none other than Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a new deal that will see the NFL superstar become the latest player to take part of his salary in Bitcoin.

To help jump-start this, Rodgers took to Twitter where he told his fans that he is a big believer in cryptocurrency and that he has teamed up with Cash App for a massive partnership that will presumably last years. In fact, Rodgers is currently in the midst of giving away $1 million worth of Bitcoin to his fans.

Rodgers isn’t the only player in the NFL to be paid in Bitcoin. Russell Okung, Sean Culkin, and even Trevor Lawrence are all in deals right now that are allowing them to convert their NFL salary into Bitcoin. Tom Brady has also got into the Bitcoin world, which just goes to show that some of the most prominent figures in football are starting to embrace what remains a largely misunderstood technology.

The Biggest Surprises From Rolling Loud NY

Thousands of rap fans were back outside this weekend, trekking to Queens, New York to catch the world’s largest hip-hop festival, Rolling Loud, for the second-ever iteration at Citi Field. With a rain-or-shine policy in place, festivalgoers danced in the rain during J. Cole and Playboi Carti’s performances, held onto their hats as they watched Kodak Black put on a show in hurricane-like winds, and ran from stage to stage to catch dozens of their other favorite rappers doing what they do best. As always, though, the three-day event came with its fair share of surprises.

Nothing ever goes 100% according to plan at Rolling Loud. Whether we’re discussing the previous shows in Miami, Los Angeles, or New York, there have always been some issues that arise along the way. A few artists may end up missing their flights, resulting in set times being moved around. In previous years, we’ve also seen the festival become somewhat of a hotspot for the hip-hop police, who previously banned Pop Smoke, Casanova, 22Gz, Don Q, and Sheff G from the first-annual Rolling Loud in NYC, with the cops explaining that those five rappers “have been affiliated with acts of violence citywide. The New York Police Department believes if these individuals are allowed to perform, there will be a higher risk of violence.”

As the show returned to Citi Field, artists like 22Gz were able to get on stage without any problems, but that didn’t mean that others weren’t subjected to the police madness, as we’ve all likely read by now about Fetty Wap’s arrest upon his arrival to the stadium.

Alongside our list of the ten best sets at the festival this weekend (which you can check out here), we’ve put together a list of the biggest surprises from this past weekend below.

All The No-Shows: Lil Durk, Chief Keef & More

When the official line-up was announced a few months ago for Rolling Loud NYC 2021, some fans thought that it looked a little too good to be true. Unfortunately, that was indeed the case as many artists never actually showed up to their announced sets this weekend. Artists including Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, BIA, and others were mysteriously left off of the set times before failing to appear altogether. Some rappers, like Florida’s SpotemGottem, arrived too late to perform, despite being on the festival grounds and doing press. On the day of his performance, festival organizers announced that Morray would no longer be showing up. Lil Durk was supposed to headline the Audiomack stage on Thursday night, but he never appeared either, prompting angry fans to throw water bottles at the stage. And finally, Chicago’s Chief Keef managed to do the unthinkable… he showed up late two days in a row, upsetting his fans who bought tickets just to see him and never actually performing. He was initially expected to close out the Punx stage on Friday night, but he didn’t show up. Then, he was announced for a headlining set on Saturday night on the Audiomack stage, but he was tardy again.

At this point, it may be wise to expect the unexpected with Rolling Loud moving forward. And when you’re buying tickets, you should likely consider that some of the artists on the line-up won’t be showing up.

Fetty Wap’s Arrest

Following the release of his new album The Butterfly Effect, fans were excited to see Fetty Wap get back to the main stage with his performance at Rolling Loud, but he ended up being one of the aforementioned no-shows on Thursday afternoon. As the crowd got ready to sing all the words to his hits, including “Trap Queen,” “679,” and “My Way,” Fetty’s set time came and went with no announcement from the festival organizers about whether he would be showing up or not.

Hours later, it was reported that the New Jersey-based rapper was arrested by the FBI upon his arrival at Citi Field. Alongside five other people on his team, Fetty was allegedly charged for using firearms in connection with drug trafficking. He has been accused of transporting, distributing, and selling over 100 kilograms of hard drugs, including heroin and fentanyl. If he’s convicted of his alleged crimes, he faces life in prison.

His arrest was a sour note for the festival to start off on, with fans making yet another connection between the festival and its heavy police presence, with some even going so far as to suggest that Rolling Loud is a front for the cops to lock down on criminalistic rappers. While that much is pretty absurd to imply, it makes sense that fans would be frustrated over how many arrests have happened over the years at RL. If you recall, Kodak Black was arrested at Rolling Loud Miami in 2019. When the festival returned to Florida in 2021, Fredo Bang was arrested. So was EST Gee. The festival has unfortunately served as a backdrop for many rappers’ arrests over the years, and that’s a trend that we seriously hope ends with the next iteration in California, this December.

Heavy Police Presence

Michael M. Santiago/Getty Images

Comparatively to Governor’s Ball, which took place a few weeks ago at the same stadium, fans remarked that there was a much higher police presence at Rolling Loud NYC this weekend. Without exaggeration, it was impossible to walk several feet without spotting an NYPD officer walking inside or out of the festival, and once you were inside, people noted that plainclothes cops were also all over the place.

With this being a hip-hop festival, there is obviously a racial aspect that comes into play here. A Rolling Stone article published after Fetty Wap’s arrest suggests that, in a few years, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear that Rolling Loud was actually in cahoots with the feds all along. After all, as previously mentioned, Fetty Wap hasn’t been the only high-profile arrest at RL over the years.

For glaring reasons, there needs to be an abundance of security at any music festival. However, it seemed a little excessive (and uncomfortable) to pass likely over a hundred officers before even stepping foot into Citi Field.

50 Cent Brings Out DaBaby

Rolling Loud/Leanne Leuterio

Headlining on Thursday night, 50 Cent’s set on the Deleón Stage was filled with surprises. Performing a medley of his classic records, Fiddy’s performance was highlighted by all of the guests he brought out to the crowd’s roaring approval. First, he introduced A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Then, he brought out A$AP Rocky. The two New York rappers were welcomed with open arms by the crowd of thousands. Finally, before closing out his set, 50 brought DaBaby on stage.

Previously, DaBaby made headlines with his disgusting, homophobic comments from Rolling Loud Miami earlier this year. As he tried to hype the crowd up, the North Carolina native made disheartening comments against the LGBTQ+ community, which hurt his career for months. DaBaby still hasn’t gotten completely back on his feet after the controversy, but he got one step closer during 50’s set. Performing “Masterpiece” and “Rockstar,” Baby’s presence was a total shock to many of the fans in attendance, especially after everything that went down at the last RL. Thousands of music lovers and festivals distanced themselves from the rapper after his comments, but Rolling Loud wasn’t one of them. He may not have been officially booked for his own set in New York, but he made a definite impact with his appearance on Thursday night.

Playboi Carti Reunites With Lil Uzi Vert

Rolling Loud/@henryhwu

For many, the best moment of the entire weekend came during Playboi Carti’s set on Friday night, which went on during a nasty storm. With fans racing between the Deleón stage to catch J. Cole’s performance and the Audiomack stage for Playboi Carti, those who stayed put at the Atlanta rapper’s show were met with a major surprise when his DJ started playing “Shoota.”

The music blared and, shockingly, Lil Uzi Vert ran out onto the stage to perform the track with his former friend. The two have been at odds for years, feuding on social media and promising to steal each other’s thunder every time the other drops new music. They even got into a fistfight at one point during their tumultuous friendship, according to Uzi. As they hugged it out on stage following the surprise, fans couldn’t help but get teary-eyed over such a wholesome moment.

Much like with XXXTentacion and Ski Mask the Slump God at Rolling Loud Miami 2018, Rolling Loud always manages to put together the best reunions between rappers that were once at each other’s throats, but have put aside their differences to reconcile in front of thousands of onlookers.

Adele Reveals “30” Tracklist

It’s a big deal whenever Adele releases music.

After a nearly-six-year hiatus after releasing her second studio album, 25, the songstress returned back in October with a huge announcement.

Taking to Instagram with a letter to her fans, Adele revealed that her new album, 30, will be available on November 19. Days later, she released “Easy On Me” and reclaimed her rightful spot atop the streaming industry, almost instantly shattering Spotify’s single-day streaming record.

In the weeks since 30‘s release date was revealed, Adele has popped up at Lakers’ games, talked about her friendship with Drake and today, we finally have a tracklist for the upcoming album.

Cardi B Says Current Rappers “Need To Stop Doing Lean And Smoking Weed”

It has been nearly three and a half years since Cardi B’s most recent studio album Invasion of Privacy, which took home the 2019 Grammy for Rap Album of the Year. Since then, she has released one or two singles a year, which usually find their way near the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

But, in her absence from frequently releasing hits, Cardi is convinced the game needs her back. In an Instagram Live from early this morning, Cardi rattled off a spiel about how many of today’s rappers sound alike due to their persistent drug use, and that her club-oriented music could be what’s missing at this point in time.

In this video she points out a gap in the current rap scene that she knows can only be filled with the type of music she makes.

“I know what n****s is missing in the club. Me! They missing me, they missing my music,” she said. “And now that I’m in the game and everything and I be seeing all these muthaf**kas on Twitter like, ‘You need to have rap, you need to have bars, you need to have this…’ I want to make music to turn the f**k up, ’cause when I go to the club, that’s what n****s wanna hear.”

While she did not specify which rappers she was dissing in this clip, she explained that the general population of hot rappers at the moment are essentially depressed drug addicts.

“I feel like we keep hearing the same song over and over and over again,” she said. “These rappers nowadays, all of them wanna die. They all wanna die. All these n****s need to stop doing lean and smoking weed. You know, this the thing about these rappers, right? They got money and they start buying too much motherf**king weed, and too much lean and they make that slow shit.”

After receiving backlash for these statements, Cardi took to Twitter to clarify that some artists can achieve the best of both worlds, and there is a place for lyrically focused music in the club when done properly: “I just want a balance sorry if I worded things wrong. I just love music that drop hard and turn the club up like dreams & nightmare & First day out by tee grizzly. A perfect balance of rap and turn up.”

Hopefully Cardi has some new music on the way, because if what she says is true, then we need those club bangers A.S.A.P. You can watch her entire Instagram Live rant below.

How do you feel about Cardi’s take on rap nowadays?

Rihanna Shares “Xtra AF” Lingerie Pictures From New Savage X Fenty Shoot

Just hours after she broke the internet with her hilariously well done Halloween take on Gunna’s unique New York Fashion Week look, Rihanna has returned with more Instagram goodness. Late last night, the Bad Gal dropped off some hot new photos from her latest Savage x Fenty campaign.

“Holiday season about to be Xtra af #TisTheSavage,” the billionaire captioned her latest photo dump. The series of three snapshots shows the “Umbrella” singer posing amongst a group of crystal chandeliers, even pushing some of them as she struts her sexy look.

The lingerie company also shared the pictures to their own Instagram page, writing “Ur holidays just got hella brighter” in the caption. “Get Tagged (in Savage) this November w/ Xclusive new prints, drops & plenty more to be thankful for.”

Complex reports that the new Tagged by Savage collection also has an accompanying Xtra VIP Box that includes a new three-piece set design that Ri can be seen rocking in the photos.

As you may have anticipated, the Fenty Beauty CEO has received hundreds of thirsty comments from friends and fans alike. “This my Halloween costume next year,” one person joked. “ASAP u lucky summuma,” another person added, clearly green with envy over Rihanna’s relationship with A$AP Rocky.

Savage x Fenty has been pumping out plenty of fire content this season. They recently wrapped up a sequence of amazing #SquadGhouls posts, and also launched a Tattooed Tricot collaboration with multi-medium artist Manuela Soto Sosa, featuring mesh pieces with her designs beautifully laid out across them.

Will you be purchasing pieces from Rihanna’s new drop for yourself, or someone in your life this season?

Von Miller Emotional After Being Traded To The Rams

Von Miller has been dealing with numerous injuries over the last few years and it has put a strain on his time with the Denver Broncos. While Miller remains a beloved player amongst fans, the team just felt like they needed to move on, and that is exactly what they did today as they traded the linebacker to the Los Angeles Rams for a pair of draft picks in 2022.

The news was a bit surprising to Broncos fans as they now have to say goodbye to a player that helped them win a Super Bowl in 2016. As you can imagine, Miller himself was a bit upset about the news, as he was fairly emotional while fielding questions from reporters today.

“I’ve always been a team guy. I’ve always been a great teammate,” Miller said. “I’m gonna continue to do the same thing. I’ll always have Super Bowl 50. Seeing those pictures when I was walking out, it just made me tear up. Always got Super Bowl 50, always got Broncos Country. And yeah, just gotta keep going.”

Miller will now be going to a Los Angeles Rams squad that many feel as though are contenders to win the championship. Whether or not that happens, still remains to be seen.

Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl Scandal Is Getting The ‘New York Times’ Documentary Treatment For Hulu

Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl scandal has become the subject of a new documentary coming soon to Hulu and FX, according to Deadline. After the success of the New York Times documentary Framing Britney Spears, the streamer is taking on the backlash against Jackson in Malfunction: The Dressing Down Of Janet Jackson, launching on November 19 (incidentally, both docs prominently feature Justin Timberlake for his role in both women’s respective downfalls. I don’t know what it says about JT that he was so closely involved in both but it feels a little like he’s gone through his own version of what they went through over the last few years, falling out of public favor as social media became more prevalent.).

For those who don’t remember, during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, Janet Jackson joined Justin Timberlake on stage during a performance of his song “Rock Your Body,” ending with Timberlake pulling part of Jackson’s costume off, baring her breast and touching off a national controversy that led to Janet essentially being blackballed by the entertainment industry. The incident coined the infamous term “wardrobe malfunction” and a content crackdown by government and network regulators.

According to Deadline, the film will “examine the racial and cultural currents that collided on the Super Bowl stage, and explores how the incident impacted one of the most successful pop musicians in history.” It will include interviews with some of the producers of the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, as well as “music industry insiders,” cultural critics, and members of Janet’s famous family.
