Drake Seemingly Drunk At URL’s “Til Death Do Us Part” Event

The party continues for Drake who recently celebrated his 35th birthday. He held a party with his friends and family last week but he extended the celebration for URL’s Till Death Do Us Part event. The battle rap card included: Loaded Lux vs. Geechi Gotti, Tay Roc vs. Nu Jerzey Twork, Tsu Surf vs. Calicoe, T-Rex vs. Rum Nitty, Jaz The Rapper vs. Gattas and Pat Stay vs. Real Sikh.

During last night’s event, Drake took on hosting duties briefly while offering praise to all of the battle rappers that were in the building. “All these people, they deserve it. This shit takes, like, a high level of thinking. I have a lot of respect for everybody here,” he said before giving SMACK his kudos. “What inspired me is I just wanna see the best go against the best. You know, there’s a lot of people that aren’t on this card that deserve to be on this card but that’s why we got a lot more events in store.”

Since it was Drake’s birthday, he made it clear that his intentions were not to command attention on stage but to watch the battles as a spectator. “They said there’s no bar in here so I’m ’bout to send some drivers out, get some bottles, pass ’em around. You know, we’re getting right,” he added.

The thing is that fans immediately noticed that the liquor got to Drizzy. During a few post-battle interviews, Drake appears to be slurring his words and acting a fool in the background, as seen in the video below.

As for the other events, Drake called for all of his friends in music and sports to put real money up behind their favorite battle rapper for a high-stakes card in 2022.

Unfortunately, not everyone was enthusiastic about Drake’s presence including Murda Mook. You could hear what he had to say below.

Coming out of Louisiana, SSGKobe has been impressing fans with his melodic style of hip-hop. The artist has been steadily dropping new singles and each one is better than the last. Soon, he will be releasing a new project called EUPHORIA, and to promote it, he has dropped a catchy brand new single called “Caddy.”

As you will hear, the song has your typical contemporary hip-hop production, all while SSGKobe offers up some autotuned melodies that suit the song perfectly. Throughout the track, he delivers lyrics about women and drugs and the temptations that come with all of it. Overall, it’s another solid effort and it’s a nice setup for his new project.

Soulja Boy Hops On The “Squid Game” Wave With Halloween Costume

Just last month, Squid Game took the world by storm and quickly became one of the biggest Netflix shows of all time. If you are a fan of the show, then you know that it had an incredibly cool concept and while the ending proved to be controversial, there is no doubt that viewers liked what they saw for the majority of the series.

With Squid Game becoming a pop culture phenomenon, it only made sense that the show would get some sort of representation throughout Halloween. In fact, Soulja Boy was among the first celebrities to rep Squid Game for Halloween, as the rapper dressed up in one of the masks worn by the guards. While he didn’t make the effort to do the rest of the costume, his helmet was certainly recognizable enough to get him by on that alone.

As the weekend goes on, we’re certainly going to be seeing even more Squid Game costumes from big-name celebrities. After all, the costumes aren’t that elaborate to begin with, and if you’re with a group, it can be a fun costume for the entire squad.

Let us know what you thought of Soulja Boy’s effort, in the comments below.

He’s traded bars with the best of ’em and locked in with some of the greatest producers of all time.

On the last project he released, September, he surprised fans with a new collaboration with Lil Wayne titled, “Thought I Was Gonna Stop.” While two rappers flexed their lyrical prowess on the track, they finally dropped the music video for the record this week. Pap and Wayne lock in behind a green paisley-print backdrop as they deliver their respective verses. The video cuts to solo shots of Pap rapping in front of a stack of speakers and Weezy sitting on a gold low-rider with his favorite beverage in his hand.

22Gz Defends Coi Leray After Benzino Calls Out Her Billboard Charts Success

22Gz came to the defense of Coi Leray on Twitter, earlier this week, after seeing a story about her father, Benzino, calling her out for her lack of success on the Billboard charts. Benzino had said that he was a more successful rapper than Leray is now.

“I hate this n***a as much as my opps hate me,” 22Gz wrote in response to the story.

Benzino had been asked about Leray being a bigger rapper than him, to which he took offense.

“Well, well, well, well, I was number 19 on the charts. She hasn’t passed 19,” Benzino interjected during an interview with VladTV. “I think she was maybe 26 or 20. ‘No More Parties’ didn’t pass ‘Rock The Party.’ ‘Rock The Party’ 19 on Billboard, ‘No More Parties’ was 26 so, dad’s still got that one. Dad’s still got that right there.”

Benzino did go on to say he still loves his daughter while refusing to acknowledge her success compared to his own.

Despite Benzino and Leray being father and daughter, the two have traded shots in public on numerous occasions. Even on the aforementioned track “No More Parties,” Leray disses her father. The two did eventually squash their beef and acknowledge that they loved each other.

Russell Wilson Receives Good News Amid Finger Injury

Just a few weeks ago, Seahawks fans’ worst nightmare came true as Russell Wilson went down with an injury. The star quarterback tore up his finger which led to surgery. Since that time, the Seahawks have been using Geno Smith, and they haven’t had much success in doing so. It has been a rough season in Wilson’s absence, and everyone around the team is eager for him to get back into playing shape.

There have been quite a few updates regarding Wilson over the past few weeks and each seems to be more optimistic than the last. In fact, it was recently reported by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network that Wilson could be back sooner than anticipated thanks to a new step in his recovery.

Wilson is the backbone of the Seahawks franchise and they are going to need him to be back on the field soon if they want any outside chance at making it to the postseason. Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates from the NFL world.

Lil Nas X Killed It This Halloween With Two Iconic Costumes

Halloween is finally here and throughout the weekend, we have been blessed with some truly incredible costumes. From Instagram models to NBA players to rappers, there have been plenty of great get-ups to go around. It feels like everyone is trying to one-up each other, and there are even some who have decided to go with two separate costumes.

For instance, Lil Nas X has decided to put a lot of effort into Halloween this year, and as you will see, he has absolutely killed it so far. There is no telling whether or not he has more looks up his sleeve, although there is no denying that he left his mark on Saturday.

In the Twitter post below, you can see that Nax X got some very elaborate makeup so that he could look like Voldemort from the Harry Potter series. From there, he also dressed up as the jock from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, who can always be seen spinning the basketball on his fingers. Both costumes were executed to perfection, and you can tell that Nas X really put a lot of effort into these.

The rich and famous always seem to have a leg up when it comes to Halloween as they have the resources to spend on elaborate costumes. Either way, it is always fun to see, and there will certainly be even more looks to take in as the weekend goes on.
