Trick Daddy’s Ex-Wife Addresses His “Eat The Booty” Remarks

Everyone is talking about Trick Daddy’s comments on a recent episode of Drink Champs, where he told N.O.R.E. that he enjoys having his salad tossed. The remarks have elicited reactions from his fans, other artists, including Tank, and so many others.

“Women eat the booty, too,” said the Florida rapper. “I get ate out!”

When Noreaga asked Trick if he put his legs up in the air when his partner went to town on him, he replied that “it depends.”

As the hip-hop world continues to react to Trick Daddy’s claims, his ex-wife Joy Young has officially chimed in on the matter, denying that she ever partook in any ass-eating activities with the rapper.

“He’s been with other women other than me.. Y’all already know that at what point did these encounters happen I have no idea,” wrote Joy on Instagram Stories. “I am not the source. Leave me out of it.”

She followed up by letting her followers know that she’s presently grieving the passing of her aunt, and any salad-tossing comments will be deleted and blocked.

R&B singer Tank also revealed a few years ago that he’s a fan of butt-play, and he commented on Trick Daddy Dollars’ situation, saying, “I was just minding my business and then i’m getting dragged into @trickdaddydollars business! [face palm emoji] FYI that man ain’t wrong for enjoying pleasures from his woman.. My new single feat @trickdaddydollars ‘Let That Woman Eat’ coming soon!”

Pusha-T Reacts To Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” Cover Art

Pusha-T just won’t let Drake off the hook. Clearly, the two still have a lot of bad blood, which was evidenced after Pusha-T “liked” a post criticizing Drake’s new cover artwork for his upcoming album Certified Lover Boy.

The two rappers have been at odds for years, and their feud has extended to include Kanye West in recent times. After Drake unveiled the cover artwork for his new album, which shows multiple emojis of pregnant women, a critic went off about how the design could be indicative of a larger issue in the art world.

“Tell me the (art) world values mediocre White cis-male artists above all else Without telling me the (art) world values mediocre White cis-male artists above all else,” wrote the critic on Instagram, attaching a photo of Drake’s cover art. The feminist take was seemingly co-signed and “liked” by none other than Pusha-T, Drake’s arch-nemesis, who appeared to agree with the message. “Thanks @champagnepapi for reaffirming the utter mediocrity that rises to the top of the art world,” added the critic.

With Drake’s album set to release in a couple of days, Pusha-T jumping back into their feud was expected. However, did anyone expect him to take such an approach to the cover art?

Rose McGowan Slams Oprah Winfrey: “She’s As Fake As They Come”

One of the most celebrated media journalists has come under fire over a 2003 interview. It was nearly 20 years ago that Oprah Winfrey interviewed Dolly Parton, and recently, a snippet from their chat went viral. In the clip, Oprah asks Parton about her cosmetic surgery and the exchange rubbed a few of the country star’s fans the wrong way.

Some accused Winfrey of trying her best to embarrass the singer while others thought that people were reading too much into it. Actress Rose McGowan used the opportunity to call Winfrey to the floor with a scathing tweet.

McGowan has been a vocal supporter of the MeToo movement and back in 2018, she detailed an alleged incident with disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein where she claims he raped her. McGowan took to Twitter on the heels of Winfrey’s current Parton controversy to share a photo of the OWN mogul kissing Weinstein on the cheek.

“I am glad more are seeing the ugly truth of @Oprah,” the actress wrong alongside the picture. “I wish she were real, but she isn’t. From being pals with Weinstein to abandoning & destroying Russell Simmon’s victims, she is about supporting a sick power structure for personal gain, she is as fake as they come. #lizard.”

Winfrey is known to have a dedicated fanbase that spans generations and they came in to swiftly defend the star. However, McGowan’s supporters also backed her comments. Check out the tweet along with a few reactions below.

Bonnaroo Once Again Cancels Festival: “We Are Absolutely Heartbroken”

Festival organizers are excited to get their money-making concerts back in action. The COVID-19 quarantine derailed all plans of outside events housing large crowds, and even in 2021, there have been concerns over “super spreader” gatherings. As vaccines have been made readily available restrictions have been lifted, the Delta variant of COVID continues to worry the public. While people have been watching the spread of coronavirus with a keen eye, weather conditions have also proven to be an issue.

All of that being said, Bonnaroo organizers were thrilled to announce the festival’s return months ago. They shared their star-studded line-up that included names like Lizzo, G-Eazy, J.I.D., Nelly, Jack Harlow, Leon Bridges, Kevin Gates, Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Run The Jewels, and many more.

However, it looks as if fans will have to wait just a while longer because Bonnaroo announced they once again have to cancel the event. The festival was supposed to take place this weekend, but flooding and heavy rains in Tennessee have caused production to come to a complete stop.

They wrote:

We are absolutely heartbroken to announce that we must cancel Bonnaroo. While this weekend’s weather looks outstanding, currently Centeroo is waterlogged in many areas, the ground is incredibly saturated on our tollbooth paths, and the campgrounds are flooded to the point that we are unable to drive in or park vehicles safely.

We have done everything in our power to try to keep the show moving forward, but Mother Nature has dealt us a tremendous amount of rain over the past 24 hours, and we have run out of options to try to make the event happen safely and in a way that lives up to the Bonnaroo experience.

Please find ways to safely gather with your Bonnaroo community and continue to radiate positivity during this disappointing time. WE WILL SEE YOU ON THE FARM IN JUNE 2022!

All tickets purchased through Front Gate Tickets will be refunded in as little as 30 days to the original method of payment.

Hopefully, the third time will be a charm. Check out the festival’s post below.

Logic Thinks Lil Nas X “Snapped” On “Industry Baby”

We’re weeks away from receiving Lil Nas X’s anticipated album Montero and it looks as if Logic is a fan. Lil Nas X has taken over airwaves of all kinds since his “Old Town Road” megahit went viral, and while people expressed doubts regarding if he would be able to continue his wave of fame, Nas X has proved that he is here to stay.

His most recent releases, “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” and “Industry Baby,” have been on heavy rotation, whether it be streaming or radio playlists, and it seems as if Logic has been enjoying Nas X’s Jack Harlow-assisted track.

“’I don’t f*ck b*tches I’m queer’ – @LilNasX,” wrote Logic as he tweeted Nas X’s “Industry Baby” bars. “Bro I love how much you are yourself. Snapped.” Weeks ago, Harlow sat down Variety to also sing Nas X’s praises.

“I think he’s giving a voice to a lot of people and kids who could use one,” he told the publication. “I think the community he represents could use someone who’s succeeding on a mainstream level — it doesn’t have to be a niche thing, it can feel like, ‘Yo, you can be number one, you can be the greatest.’ I really recognize what he’s doing and I think he gets a lot deeper than the jokes and whatever gimmicky stuff people wanna associate — I really think he’s an icon.”

“I really recognize what he’s doing, and I admire him — I admired him long before we met.”

DaBaby Unloads Quick-Fire Raps Over Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ For A New Remix And Fans Are Not Happy

Prior to a month ago, DaBaby had his eyes set on new music he planned to deliver to his fans. The rapper promised a new album was on the way, but all of that became an afterthought when he unleashed a homophobic rant targeted at individuals with HIV/AIDS during July’s Rolling Loud festival in Miami. Since then, DaBaby has found himself in a string of controversial moments and it continues with the release of his latest track.

On Tuesday, the North Carolina rapper delivers a remix of Wizkid and Tems’ summer hit, “Essence.” His take of the track completely alters the song’s original nature as Wizkid and Tems’ relaxed vocals are replaced by DaBaby’s quick-fire raps. He also uses the track to address the recent criticism he’s faced since his Rolling Loud rant. “I just feel like, you know, when situations like this present themselves, man,” he says on the track. “And people try to, you know, assassinate your character, man / And assassinate who you are, man / And everything you put that hard work in for, man.” He adds, “Sometimes you gotta demonstrate, you know, that’s how I came here / And I don’t mind demonstratin’ / I don’t mind exercisin’, you dig what I’m sayin’?”

The remix arrives after it was reported that DaBaby met with nine HIV/AIDS organizations after his Rolling Loud. As for the remix itself, most fans were not too happy with it and they took to Twitter to share their displeasures.

You can listen to his “Essence” remix in the video above and read the responses from fans below.

Meek Mill Drops “Blue Notes 2” Ft. Lil Uzi Vert

It looks like those street bike sessions weren’t for nothing. In early July, City Girls star JT joked about being upset with boyfriend Lil Uzi Vert who opted to stay out all night riding around on street bikes with Meek Mill rather than come home. She later clarified that she wasn’t angry that he was out too late but rather, she isn’t a fan of the bikes. A week later, Meek and Uzi were spotted filming a music video.

Rather than wait for New Music Friday—which is shaping up to be a big one this week thanks to Drake and Certified Lover Boy—Meek decided to drop his Uzi collaboration right now. “Blue Notes 2,” a follow-up to the 2016 track of the same name, arrives on the heels of “Sharing Locations,” a track that was assisted by Lil Durk and Lil Baby.

Over the weekend, a fan tweeted Meek asking when they could expect his next project and he revealed that it would come in a “matter of days,” so we’ll keep you posted on that. In the meantime, stream Meek Mill’s “Blue Notes 2” featuring Lil Uzi Vert and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

My homie a opp now, so we on him
I was like sixteen with the MAC on me
Deep in the field like it’s Pop Warner
Where did the shit scene n*ggas cracked on me
When it got real, tried to slide on him
I made some M’s, split the guys on ’em

Chrisette Michele Reflects On Being “Canceled” Over Trump: “Kanye Endorsed Him”

A debate has been launched about Cancel Culture following Kanye West’s Donda release. In recent years, West has made quite a few controversial remarks that have caused frustration. He has stated that enslaved people chose to stay in bondage for centuries, he claimed Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves,” he praised former President Donald Trump while wearing MAGA hats, he visited Trump at the White House and compared him to Superman, and he ran in the presidential election causing many to believe he was attempting to sway voters.

Still, Donda has broken records and West has raked in millions from the project, its release, its listening events, its merchandise sales, and much more, prompting a conversation about Chrisette Michele to be debated online.

Years ago, fans were surprised to see the acclaimed R&B singer show face at Trump’s inauguration where she was featured as a performer. Michele was vilified for attaching herself to the controversial world leader, and some have argued that she was “canceled” to such a degree that her career has not recovered.

This new discussion has caused Chrisette to come forward with her take on artists like West being welcomed with open arms while she continues to fight for her place in the public’s forgiveness.

“Being compared to Kanye & Travis [Greene] for the last 5 years. Watching them soar into the highest realms of stardom. Waiting on Gods hand to show me exactly what my story will look like,” she penned. “I think most of the comments are well intended and I’m not really attached to the results of the conversation. But it is an interesting topic. Kanye endorsed him, Travis sang with me, and… time unfolded.”

“Would you release new music if you were me? What would you sing about? Who would you sing to? Why?” she asked. “What does my role as FEMALE play in this story? What about my role as Christian? How about my role as it compares to Kanye & Travis?” Read through her response to the conversation in full below.

Rick Ross Celebrates Smoke Bulga’s Addition To MMG With A Video For Their Collab ‘Water Whip’n’

In the 2010s, Rick Ross seemed to be building one of the next rap empires with his Maybach Music Group imprint. The Teflon Don rapper had recruited names like Wale, Meek Mill, Omarion, Gunplay, and more to join him on the team. While their early days were bright, the MMG has been much quieter of late, with Ross, Meek, and Wale carrying most of the responsibilities for the label. Now, for the first time in years, Ross has signed a new artist: Boston rapper Smoke Bulga.

The two rappers have some history together, having previously collaborated back in 2010 on a track titled “We Made It.” More than a decade later and Bulga is the newest name to join MMG. To celebrate, he and Ross unleashed a video for their collaboration “Water Whip’n.” The track samples Black Rob’s “Like Woah,” and it captures a true celebratory moment between the rappers as they begin a journey as labelmates.

“It really feels like Draft Day because I’m teaming up with one of the best to ever do it in Rozay with one of the premier labels in hip-hop history,” Bulga said to Billboard about signing to Ross’ label. “MMG has long represented excellence and I look forward to representing the new generation of MMG starting with this new ‘Water Whip’n’ release.”

Ross, on the other hand, expressed his desire to help Bulga grow in the industry. “Smoke Bulga has potential to be a star,” he said. “I’ve seen him put in the work from afar and all he needed is the right opportunity, so I’m excited to welcome the homie to the MMG family.”

You can watch the video for “Water Whip’n” above.
