Kevin Durant Takes Hilarious Swipe At Kyrie Irving Hater

Kevin Durant has always been an expert troll when it comes to Twitter. From his humble days as a burner account user until now, KD knows how to get fans riled up with the simple press of a button. Some might argue that Twitter beef is beneath him and his status as an NBA superstar, however, KD has made it clear that Twitter is simply fun for him and that he enjoys dunking on fans who try to go a step too far with him.

In the aftermath of the Nets’ loss in the NBA Playoffs, Durant has been particularly active on Twitter and he is constantly engaging with fans. Durant has been particularly active in Japan, where he is now competing in the Summer Olympics for Team USA. Even with the busy Olympic schedule forced upon him, Durant is finding the time to clap back at people.

Recently, a Twitter user named CuffsTheLegend said some disparaging remarks about Kyrie Irving, which then prompted a snarky response from KD. The Team USA superstar posted a photo of a man sleeping on the floor in an empty apartment as a way of showcasing what Kyrie haters typically look and live like. It was an extremely humorous troll that forced the user to put their tweets on private. From there, Durant racked up about 250K likes in what has to be an all-time Twitter ratio.

Fans are usually quick to troll Durant although, in this instance, KD ended up with all the respect in the world. NBA Twitter has gotten out of pocket these last few months and the trolling has gotten to a point where it is more toxic than funny. With this in mind, it was good to see Durant put an NBA Twitter troll in their place.

G Herbo & His Son Yosohn Throw Up Gang Signs In Now-Deleted Picture: Report

G Herbo may have burst onto the Hip-Hop scene as one of the most rugged rappers in Chicago, but over time, the 25 rapper has grown tremendously and started to peel back even more layers to his artistry. Herbo has credited that noticeable change to the fact that he is now a father. In 2018, he had his first son, Yosohn, with Ari Fletcher, and a couple of months ago, he welcomed his second son, Essex, with Fabolous’ step-daughter Taina Williams.

G Herbo seems to be really enjoying fatherhood, and recently, the PTSD rapper even admitted that he plans on becoming a stay-at-home dad. However, a recently posted and deleted photo may have gotten Herbo in trouble with his one of his baby’s mothers. According to a screenshot from The Neighborhood Talk, G Herbo recently posed for a picture with his firstborn son Yosohn, and the father-son duo was seen throwing up a gang sign.

While the picture itself depicts both G Herbo and his son Yosohn throwing up a gang sign, the now-deleted post’s caption was even more implicating. “@therealyosohnsantana GOT MY BACK FOREVER!! #BornInMemberShip.”

Check out the controversial picture below and let us know whether you think that G Herbo was right or wrong to post it.

Lovers & Friends Festival Is Set To Return In 2022 And Moving To Las Vegas

Just before the pandemic started, one of the most anticipated festivals of the 2020 season was Lovers & Friends, a new but nostalgic festival that popped up out of nowhere and caused mass havoc and confusion on Twitter as fans clamored to figure out if the stacked lineup was real. Furthering the confusion, some of the billed acts, like Lil Kim, claimed to have not been booked, adding a layer of intrigue and attention that had anticipation sky-high when they finally confirmed.

Unfortunately, as we all know, Corona came through hating and we all missed out on seeing every elder Millennial’s favorite artists return to the stage alongside contemporary artists like Jhene Aiko, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, and Summer Walker (all heavily influenced by 2000s-era sounds and aesthetics). It looked like Lovers & Friends was a wrap, a fever dream we all shared for a bit before the world collectively went to hell.

Live Nation

But apparently, Live Nation, Snoop Dogg, and Bobby Dee had to do it again (see what I did there?), bringing the festival back for a new date, May 14, 2022. The venue has changed as well; while the original was scheduled for Carson, CA (a smaller venue that prompted the show’s organizers to add a second day) the 2022 iteration will take place in Las Vegas. Presale begins August 2 at 10 am PT. For more information, check out loversandfriendsfest.com.

Saweetie Is The Latest Artist To Get Her Own McDonald’s Meal, Complete With ‘Saweetie N Sour’ Sauce

After the Travis Scott and J Balvin meals helped to lift McDonald’s out of a pandemic-induced sales slump, it’s only natural that the fast-food titan would want to continue its collaborations with popular musicians to keep the party going — and it looks like the next choice is one that already gets plenty of attention thanks to her exotic and elaborate snack concoctions. That’s right, Saweetie is getting her own McDonald’s meal, a combination that the phrase “match made in heaven” was coined to describe to a T.

The Saweetie meal goes on sale on August 9 and includes a Big Mac, a four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, a medium Sprite, and “Saweetie ‘N Sour” and BBQ sauce. The meal will come in new packaging inspired by Saweetie’s “Icy” branding and the restaurant chain wants fans to “remix” the meal by topping the burger with fries, just like the “My Type” star has done on her fan-favorite live streams.

Saweetie’s food concoctions regularly go viral as she combines items that some fans don’t believe go together — like spaghetti and ranch dressing — prompting jokes that the rapper has an “iron stomach.” The McDonald’s meal makes sense, as one of her most infamous combos prominently featured the restaurant’s sandwiches, namely a McChicken and a McDouble put together. She’s also joked about removing her brand new tongue piercing just so she could enjoy a burger.

Saweetie has also been working on her debut album, Pretty B*tch Music, although she’s pushed it back a few times to tweak some things after meeting Cher and having an epiphany. In the meantime, fans can chow down on the Saweetie meal and run back her hits “Back To The Streets,” “Best Friend,” and “Fast (Motion).”

Saweetie is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Ben Simmons Asking Price Receives Ridicule From NBA Twitter

Ben Simmons has consistently been one of the most slandered players in the entire NBA and it all has to do with the fact that he was a mess during the NBA playoffs. Simmons had problems scoring the basketball and his shooting was sub-par, which is a generous assessment if we’re being honest. Following this performance, it has become crystal clear that the 76ers want to get rid of Simmons, and now, numerous trade rumors have been circulating online and throughout the Twitter-sphere.

As it stands, there are two teams who have been offered Simmons directly. These teams are the Toronto Raptors and the San Antonio Spurs. Both franchises could use a guy like Simmons, especially after missing the playoffs. However, it appears as though the 76ers asking price is simply astronomical.

According to reports from around the NBA, the Sixers wanted Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and the fourth overall pick in exchange for Simmons. Meanwhile, they wanted the Spurs to surrender four first-round picks, three pick swaps, and a young star. Needless to say, the Raptors and the Spurs hung up the phone pretty quickly on those trade packages.

Simmons’ recent performances have brought his value down quite a bit, although the Sixers haven’t exactly recognized this. As fans noted on social media, Simmons simply isn’t worth this much and if the Sixers keep playing hard ball, they are going to be stuck with him this upcoming season.

Reports now suggest that Simmons could be traded by tonight, so keep it locked to HNHH as we bring you all of the latest updates surrounding Simmons and the Sixers.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Kicked Murderous Melodies On “Wasteland Warriors”

Everybody loves to hate on the double album, but in reality, hip-hop has given us plenty of great ones over the years. That includes the incredible Art Of War from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, which officially celebrates twenty-four years of existence today.

Boasting no shortage of material from the Cleveland crew, it’s hard to single out a specific highlight to showcase. Being that we’ve already celebrated the 2Pac-assisted “Thug Luv” and the tone-setting “Handle The Vibe,” it’s time to shine a light on the west-coast influenced banger that is “Wasteland Warriors.” Over a hard-hitting g-funk banger from DJ U-Neek, Krayzie, Bizzy, Layzie, and special guest Souljah Boy (the first rapper to be named Souljah Boy, as it were), proceed to put in work like only they can.

While some newer fans might be wary of revisiting a project that’s turning twenty-four, hip-hop heads can rest assured that Bone Thugs’ third studio album is aging like a fine wine. Check out “Wasteland Warriors” now, and sound off with your thoughts on The Art Of War and the influence it has had on the greater hip-hop landscape.

QUOTABLE LYRICS

What if we slowed it down?
Then n***a, you would hear me
I know n**as would fuck around
And say we tried to steal your style
Come on to funky town, that’s where we get the rawest
Thuggish-ruggish Bone, so sho’ nuff that’s what they call us

Summer Walker Shows Off Her Guns In New Photos

Summer Walker has two sides to her personality: she’s got a soft side and a hard side. She found the perfect way to show off her chaotic energy with a new picture, posing with her favorite stuffies, and her guns.

“The guns is fake if my pro O ask,” shared Summer, alerting the feds to not worry about her because they’re simply props. In the first photo dump, she bent over and showed off her behind before giving a front view, clutching two semi-automatic guns on her sides. In one of the final pictures, she points the weapons at the camera.

She proceeded to upload a second photo dump with more gun-clutching shots, but this time she was cuddled up with some teddy bears. “Both my personalities,” said the fire sign as she pointed her firearm to the sky.

Last week, Summer made headlines after sharing a preview of her new music, prompting her fans to get her trending and discuss the need for a new album from the R&B superstar. She’s also been teasing collaborations with Lil Durk and others, promising to shade her baby daddy London On Da Track on her upcoming body of work.

Check out Summer’s two personalities below.

Bob Odenkirk’s Condition Stable Following “Heart-Related Incident”

Bob Odenkirk, 58, was recently hospitalized after collapsing on the New Mexico set of Better Call Saul, as he was filming the final season of the acclaimed series. It was later reported that he had suffered a “heart-related incident,” and his representatives have since confirmed his condition to be stable.

“We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident,” reads an official statement. “He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”

His oldest son Nate Odenkirk also shared a brief update on Twitter, reassuring the many concerned fans that “He’s going to be OK.” In the wake of his hospitalization, AMC (the network behind Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad), issued a statement in support of the Emmy-nominated actor.  “Bob is someone we have known and been lucky enough to work with for a long time,” AMC writes. “The immediate outpouring of affection and concern from fans around the world is a clear reflection of his immense talents and ability to both move and entertain people. Like everyone else, we are so grateful to know he is in stable condition and receiving excellent care. We are holding him close in our thoughts and wishing for a fast and full recovery.”

Be sure to show some love to the actor in the comments section below; though many likely know him for his incredible turn as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman, he recently switched things up with his first action role in Nobody. We at HNHH would like to wish Bob Odenkirk a healthy recovery.
