G.T. & Babyface Ray Connect For Fire Track “Going Long”

Earlier in March, G.T dropped his third mixtape titled, Call Me G.T. Now, the up and coming artist continues to grow his clout with the release of his latest visual for “Going Long.” The single proves why the Detroit artist is a force to be reckoned with. G.T., along with his fellow WavyGang member, Babyface Ray, deliver a notable video to go along with their even more notable bars with “Going Long.”

Throughout this dope number, G.T. spits bars that could go over the average listener’s head. With lines like, “I serve blow fiends and I do it with a passion/ That shits so clean, if I don’t hit it, it’s blue magic,” it’s easy to see that G.T. is clearly pushing his pen.

The bars continue to flow over the cold, eerie, yet catchy production. “I ain’t gotta trap cause they endorse a nigga now. We could go rack for rack or n***a we could break a pound,” G.T. spits in the second verse. Featured WavyGang artist Babyface Ray isn’t lacking, either. He manages to keep up with his fellow member with lines like, “I tell my best one to hold it down/ Please protect the bag, there’s bozos on the prowl/ Ten toes down you know my forces on the ground/ Stand up on the pedal bet those horses make a sound.”

G.T. appears to keep his momentum going in 2021. He’s already dropped a high quality project earlier this year with Call Me G.T. and continues to drop with the release of “Going Long.” 2020 proved to be the year he gained notoriety with the releases of his first two mixtapes Merciless and Timeless.

Quotable Lyrics

She gon go for sure, she know what time it is

Greentea Peng Unleashes Her Genre-Blending Debut “Man Made”

Greentea Peng began earning a great deal of buzz after unleashing her debut EP Sensi back in 2018. One of London’s fastest rising stars, she quickly earned distinction among critics for the multiple genres she incorporates in her music like R’n’B, hip hop, and dub reggae.

Megan Thee Stallion Teases The Return Of Alter Ego Tina Snow

Back in December of 2018, Megan Thee Stallion came through with her breakout project Tina Snow which boasted some incredible hits such as “Big Ole Freak” and “Freak Nasty.” It was here that fans became acquainted with her empowering raps that had a whole new energy to them. Following this project, Megan quickly ascended to superstardom, and after dropping her project Good News a few months ago, she won Best New Artist at the Grammys.

The album was named Tina Snow due to the fact that this was the name of her alter ego throughout the album. This is an alter ego that fans have been wanting to see make a come back and as it turns out, she is about to give the fans what they want. Taking to Twitter today, Meg dropped a 23-second video with the caption “TINA SNOW IS BACK.”

There is some music playing in the background, all while the Tina Snow character is being awoken from cryogenic sleep. It makes for a very dramatic teaser and it is one that fans are already hitting the replay button on.

It remains to be seen what Megan will be doing with her alter ego although we imagine some new music will be dropping in the not-so-distant future. With this in mind, keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates from the music world.

Peter Rosenberg Taps Styles P, Ransom & Smoke DZA On “S.R.D”

Peter Rosenberg’s teased the release of a new project over the past few years but it was only on Friday when it was unleashed in its entirety. Real Late is an embodiment of Rosenberg’s Sunday night radio show on Hot 97 where he highlights only the rawest, underground rap music. That being said, there’s little mainstream name recognition attached to the project but for the hip-hop heads, it’s a solid body of work that highlights incredible production with talented lyricists.

Styles P, Ransom, and Smoke DZA connect on Rosenberg’s album for the single, “S.R.D.” Buck Dudley cooks up the distorted and atmospheric production that serves as the foundation for the three rappers to flex their lyrical muscle.

Peep the track below and read, “Peter Rosenberg Talks New Album, The Idea Of “Real Hip-Hop” & Jay-Z G-Check.

Quotable Lyrics
Underground but I’m over the top
Enough’s enough now, fuck the pigs, over the slop
I’m like Stallone with the hat back, over the top
But I don’t arm wrestle, I atom bomb wrestle
I’m a nuke when I’m in the booth, I’m a bronze vessel

Jake Paul Clarifies What Really Happened In Viral Clip From Miami

Jake Paul has been known to stir the pot over the years, and this has been especially true leading up to the fight between his brother Logan and Floyd Mayweather. During a press conference in Miami a few weeks ago, Paul stole the hat off of Mayweather’s head which led to a massive melee. Eventually, Paul escaped the altercation with some bruises and was promptly banned from the fight. Jake still has every intention of attending the event, and we’re sure he’s got some interesting antics planned.

Yesterday, it was reported that Paul had been kicked out of a Mayweather-hosted event in Miami. In the clip which can be found below, Paul is seen walking away from an event while surrounded by his entourage. Now, Paul is responding to the footage claiming that he was never kicked out of an event. In fact, Paul said he was at an OVO party and left at his own will.

“Media so thirsty these days,” Paul wrote. “It wasn’t a Floyd party it was an OVO party that I left from on my own. OVO my brothers”

Regardless of what really went down, it is clear that Jake is ready to witness one of the biggest boxing events of the past few years. For some, this fight is a total sham although for others, it’s going to be one incredible spectacle.

Air Jordan 1 “Bred Reimagined” Coming This Fall: On-Foot Photos

Out of all the Air Jordan 1 colorways to be released over the years, there is no denying that the “Bred” offering is one of the most popular. It is a shoe that came out back in 1985 and was a huge hit with sneakerheads. To this day, the black and red Jordan 1 still gets some retro releases and at times, Jordan Brand makes some changes to the shoe as a way to give fans something unique to add to their collections.

The Air Jordan 1 “Bred Reimagined,” otherwise known as the “Patent Bred,” is the latest Air Jordan 1 “Bred” model to be shown off on the internet. For the last few weeks, teasers of this shoe have been showing up all over the place although the image quality has been suspect, to say the least. Now, Instagram user @fxxkvlogvi has come through with the best images of the shoe, thus far. As you can see in the post below, the black and red silhouette is covered in flashy patent leather that glistens on your foot. It’s a gorgeous aesthetic that will certainly prove popular upon release.

If you are planning on grabbing a pair, it is believed that these will drop on October 23rd of this year, although this date is subject to change. Keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates from the sneaker world.

Lil Durk’s Brother DThang Was Reportedly Shot And Killed Outside A Illinois Club

Lil Durk has dealt with the loss of close friends at several instances in his career and unfortunately, the rapper will now have to deal with the death of another one. According to Chicago’s WGCI, Durk’s brother, DThang, was reportedly shot and killed on Saturday night. The reports say that DThang, born Dontay Banks Jr., was shot in the head outside of Club O, a strip club in Harvey, Illinois, a city south of his hometown of Chicago. HipHopDX adds that witnesses at the scene said DThang suffered a gunshot wound to the head which killed him instantly upon impact.

The passing of DThang comes eight months after King Von, who Durk affectionately referred to as “twin,” was shot and killed outside a nightclub in Atlanta. Von’s death shocked the hip-hop world as the fellow Chicago rapper was quickly rising to become one of the game’s brightest young stars. Durk would honor the late rapper in a number of ways. One example came on the album cover for his late 2020 album The Voice which featured a picture of him and Von together.

DThang’s death occurred during what was supposed to be a celebratory weekend for Durk. The rapper and Lil Baby are just days removed from sharing their highly-anticipated joint album, Voice Of The Heroes, which presented features from Travis Scott, Young Thug, Meek Mill, and Rod Wave.

Lil Durk & Lil Baby’s “The Voice Of The Heroes” First-Week Sales Projections Are In

Lil Baby and Lil Durk did not disappoint with the release of their new collaborative project, The Voice Of The Heroes. The ATL giant and the influential Chicago rapper have been teasing the project for the past few months following their own individual success. Both rappers have dominated the charts with #1 singles and albums to their names. So, it comes as no surprise that their collective popularity will surely earn them another #1 album on the charts.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Lil Baby and Lil Durk are on pace to move nearly 200K units in their first week with the release of The Voice Of The Heroes. The two rappers are set to debut at the top of the Billboard 200. The duo is on pace to move anywhere between 165K-185K with an estimated 200m audio streams within its first week. That’s an impressive number for any artist, really.

Surprisingly, this will mark Lil Durk’s first chart-topping album on the Billboard 200. Although Lil Baby scored the #1 spot with My Turn, Durk’s latest solo opus, The Voice maintained a steady spot at #2 on the chart, even with the release of the deluxe edition.

It seems like the two rappers are popping out with this album at the perfect time. While they didn’t get to tour off of their solo projects due to the pandemic, The Voice Of The Heroes opens up a unique opportunity for a co-headlining tour.

After suffering a meniscus tear in his right knee during the first round of the playoffs, there was a concern that Joel Embiid wouldn’t be good to go for the start of the 76ers’ second-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. Embiid played like an MVP candidate this season and whenever he is on the court, he has the chance to be a huge threat.
