Will Levis Flamed By Twitter While Waiting In Draft Green Room

Nobody had a worse night than Will Levis during the NFL Draft’s opening round. The former Kentucky Wildcats quarterback was destined to be a top pick this year. However, that destiny soon turned into a harsh reality. Levis watched as team after team passed on his talents. Unfortunately, the worst part of it all was that all his pain was caught on camera. However, after each pick, the camera would find him attempting to hide his pain. At the same time, Twitter was having some fun at the quarterback’s expense.

Surrounded by family, Levis watched player after player leave the green room. While the support of family in a trying time is needed. However, Levis couldn’t hide in one of the more nerve-wracking times of his life. He isn’t the first draftee to suffer this fate. The most noticeable would be Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson. Those quarterbacks painfully waited to hear their names called. However, they both were still selected in the first round. Unfortunately for Levis, he was not.

Twitter Reacts To Will Levis’ Painful Night

Fans around Twitter had a lot of fun with Levis’ pain. His free fall almost became more significant than the draft itself. As cameras for ESPN and the NFL Network seemed to be rooting for the demise of Levis. Even with all the agony, he must have been feeling, Levis never wavered in the moment. However, the shots of him staring at his phone are forever burnt in my mind. But the chances of Levis hearing his name sooner rather than later are much higher now. As the second round of the draft begins on Friday night.

One has to believe that the quarterback will be taken early in the second round. However, nothing is guaranteed. But one thing is certain, Levis will not be returning to the green room. Honestly, how could anyone blame him? Thursday night has to go down as one of the most challenging days for his family. However, brighter days will be ahead.
