This breakout hit also achieved a top 10 breakthrough on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart, making history as the first single to reach the top 10 on all four charts: Country Airplay, Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, and Rhythmic Airplay. Shaboozey is the second Black artist to top Billboard Hot 100 and Country Songs Charts.

“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is in its ninth week in the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and twelfth week on the chart overall. It peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart and debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Song of the Summer Chart upon release. Shaboozey and Beyoncé also made history as the first two Black artists to lead the chart with back-to-back #1 songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The track has amassed over 700 million streams and reached the Top 10 in several countries, hitting #1 in Australia, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, and the UK’s Big 40.

Shaboozey delivered a memorable performance of “Tipsy” at the BET Awards in June, featuring a surprise appearance by J-Kwon. He has also performed the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Special.

His critically acclaimed album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, continues to hold strong on the Billboard 200 chart, solidifying Shaboozey’s position as a top contender for 2024’s Song of the Summer.
