Pooh Shiesty Ordered To Pay Shooting Victims $156K In Restitution

Authorities recently ordered Pooh Shiesty to pay restitution to victims of a 2020 shooting he was involved in. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the Memphis rapper must pay $156,585 to those injured in the incident as part of his sentence. Also, the documents indicate that earnings made while behind bars must contribute to this total payment sum. As readers may remember, officials took Shiesty in for a 2020 shooting involving himself and other actors in a Miami parking lot, which left 2 injured.

Furthermore, surveillance video from the scene shows the artist sitting in a McLaren with an assault rifle amid gunfire. After his arrest, the court sentenced him to 63 months in prison last April. Previously, he pled guilty to one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. Not only that, but Pooh must undergo drug and alcohol treatment programs and serve three years of supervised release upon his sentence’s end. Since this whole ordeal, we’ve heard from him sporadically, but not consistently. However, his most recent message to fans last week left many perplexed.

Meanwhile, his mentor Gucci Mane recently spoke out against the 23-year-old’s harsh living conditions behind bars. “We do not pay attention to how inmates in the US are treated,” the 1017 Records mogul wrote on Instagram. “@poohshiesty has been sent to a prison over 1500 miles from his home, 23 hr lockdown and given empty food trays.” Though things don’t look bright for the “Back In Blood” rapper, fans were happy to hear from him again.
