Twista Was Motivated To Step His Game Up On “Adrenaline Rush” Following Treach Diss

We received Twista’s Adrenaline Rush album way back in 1997, and the Chicago rapper is sharing what inspired him to pen the record. Twista recently sat down with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 where he revisited that time in his career and spoke about how Treach gave him a little push to switch things up after the Naughty By Nature rapper dissed him.

“When we got in, we knew what we wanted,” he said of creating the album. “It was my second time doing it on that level so I kinda knew where I wanted to take the music.” He recalled experiencing celebrity “on a different level” following his Do or Die collaboration “Po Pimp,” a single that he still calls one of his favorites. “Making [Adrenaline Rush] was a great process, beautiful time in my life and like I said, I was refined, mindstate, lyrically, and from that point on, that’s how I was able to go kamikaze every project after that.”

“When I was writing Adrenaline Rush, I was in my zone,” he added. “The way I used to rap at first was from the essence from where rap first started, more east coast-orientated, more lyrical, being an emcee in a certain way, but then I started feeling [like] I wasn’t getting accepted a certain way. So, one day…especially like, after I got dissed.”

“I think Treach dissed me one time, I was gettin’ dissed, and I made up my mind,” Twista added, referencing when the Naughty By Nature icon reportedly called him a “quick tongue fraud” back in the early 1990s. “I said, ‘You know what, from now on, every rhyme I write is about to be for my hood, for my streets.’ And that’s where Adrenaline Rush came from, was my decision to not rap for another town. Let me rap for Chicago.” Check out the clip from his interview below.

Chrissy Teigen Laments That It “Feels Like Everyone Hates Me”

Her often unfiltered approach to pop culture has helped Chrissy Teigen’s popularity on social media, but it’s also caused the model mogul to receive a few hateful messages. Her ongoing feud with former President Donald Trump during his political reign was a regular fixture on Twitter, and many personal choices Teigen shares with the world cause controversy among detractors. Teigen surfaced on Twitter on Friday (March 19) with a few thoughts about feeling as if she’s more hated than admired.

“Do u ever feel like everyone hates you?” she asked her followers. “I feel like everyone hates me. I’m not looking for you to tell me you don’t, I swear, please don’t!!! it is just overwhelming. i keep seeing ‘how has she not disabled these comments’ across all platforms on anything I say and it sucks.”

Chrissy Teigen acknowledged that her observation may be because she’s struggling at the moment. “I don’t feel I can do anything well enough or right. I dunno. Maybe just a rough patch.” She’s not the only celebrity that has lamented over being “most hated”; Cardi B has previously declared herself the most criticized person on the web. Bhad Bhabie Gives Dr. Phil 2 Weeks To Apologize For Alleged Abuse Or Else

She’s not letting her foot off of Dr. Phil’s neck. Danielle Bregoli gained global fame after appearing on the physician’s talk show about out-of-control teens years ago, and only recently has she shared that she was sent to an allegedly abusive rehabilitation facility called Turn-About Ranch. Another young woman named Hannah first spoke about being allegedly sexually abused at the ranch, and following Hannah’s public plea for help, Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, came forward with her story, as well.

Earlier this month, Bregoli shared a lengthy message where she criticized Dr. Phil and his production company for reportedly putting children and teens in harm’s way. She alleges that there was even a murder at Turn-About Ranch and said that Dr. Phil knows about the center’s scandals. Bregoli also states that attendees aren’t allowed to have phones or talk to their parents, so it’s impossible to record any mishaps by the staff.

On Friday (March 19), the teen closed out the week by once again calling Dr. Phil to the floor. “So, Dr. Phil, I’m going to give you from now to April 5 to issue an apology,” said the rapper. “Not only to me, but to Hannah and any other child that you sent to Turnabout or any other program like this, and if you don’t, I’m gonna handle things my way.” Bregoli went on to say that there are other facilities like Turn-About Ranch that The Dr. Phil Show uses and she alleges that they are all similarly abusive.

In the last few weeks, everyone from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to toilet paper brand Charmin have been talking about NFTs. NFTs, which stand for Non-fungible tokens, are a way for creators to make a profit off their digital content using blockchain technology. Several musicians have already gotten a jump start on the trend, and Rico Nasty is now the latest.

On Friday, Rico Nasty announced that she’ll be teaming up with her “OHFR?” video creator Don Allen III to sell artwork from the video as an NFT. Dana White Reveals Khabib Is 100 Percent Retired

After defeating Justin Gaethje in an impressive match just a few months ago, Khabib Nurmagomedov decided to announce his retirement from the UFC as he no longer wanted to fight without his father by his side. This news came as a disappointment to fans everywhere although no one knew for sure whether or not this would be a permanent retirement. Typically, fighters say they are retired but will eventually come back because they love the thrill too much.

Dana White finally got to sit down with Khabib recently, where he talked to the fighter about whether or not he was done for good. In the end, White came away from the meeting with some concrete information, as he took to Instagram and confirmed that Khabib is, indeed, done.

“29-0 it is. He is officially retired,” White wrote. “It was incredible to watch you work @khabib_nurmagomedov thank you for EVERYTHING and enjoy whatever is next my friend.”

Khabib finished his career with an undefeated record which is huge. Not many fighters can say they have done that and Khabib’s wins were against some of the most impressive combatants of all-time. Hopefully, Khabib enjoys a happy retirement, as he certainly deserves it.

Justin Bieber Receives Criticism For Using MLK Speeches On “Justice”

It was a massive release night at the top of Friday (March 19) morning and one of the most anticipated records of the day came from Justin Bieber. The singer returned with Justice, a follow-up to last year’s Changes, and fans quickly learned that Bieber and Co. decided to included speeches by Civil Rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. throughout the project. Bieber has often been accused of leaning on Black culture for profit, but he has repeatedly stated that he wouldn’t be who he is without the help of Black people and Black music.

Bieber’s name began to trend with the King controversy, but the day before Justice‘s release, Dr. King’s daughter, activist Bernice King, thanked the singer for his support. Bieber tweeted, “In honor of #Justice I’m supporting organizations that embody what justice looks like in action.” Bernice King retweeted the message and added, “Each of us, including artists and entertainers, can do something. Thank you, @justinbieber, for your support, in honor of #Justice, of @TheKingCenter’s work and of our #BeLove campaign, which is a part of our global movement for justice. #MLK #EndRacism.”

According to Rolling Stone, Bieber reportedly spoke about his decision to include Dr. King’s speeches on Justice. “What I wanted to do with this was amplify [Dr.] Martin Luther King Jr’s voice to this generation. Being Canadian, it wasn’t so much a part of my culture,” said the singer. He also discussed his “MLK Interlude.”

“This speech was actually during the time when [he had] a feeling that he was going to die for the cause, and what he was standing up against was ultimately racism and division,” Bieber added. “I think his message was that a lot of people can be afraid to stand up for what is right, but if you’re not standing up for justice — for what is right — what are you doing with your life? I’m sorry to get so deep, but these are the times we’re living in. That’s why I wanted to make this album because I think it’s very timely and very necessary.”
