Lil Yachty Fires Back At Fan Shaming Him For Flying Commercial

Rappers are often flexing flying private jets which makes you wonder how they’re able to keep up with those types of bills. Unless you’re bringing in Drake or Jay-Z type of money, it just doesn’t seem to make financial sense. Many rap acts continue to do so while they can afford to but after a while, it’s draining on the pockets.

Unfortunately, there’s an image to uphold for some. Lil Yachty learned this first hand after a fan attempted to humiliate him while he was sleeping on a commercial flight. “Caught lil yachty lacking,” the caption on the TikTok along with a video of Yachty snoozing away. “This is weird as fuck. Why do y’all do this?” Yachty exclaims in a video response. “Am I trippin’? I know y’all be thinkin’ I’m tripping right now… Is this not weird?”

In response to those criticizing his choice of transportation, he reminded them, “I was doing private jets since I was 18 or 19. Trust me, I can do a fuckin’ private jet. Why would I spend 10 times the money if I don’t have to? It’s crazy.”

In related news, the rapper recently released a new freestyle called “No More Beatboxing,” tackling Coi LeRay’s recent hit and SpottemGottem’s viral record. You can check that out here and peep Yachty’s TikTok below.

Bobby Shmurda Can’t Drink Alcohol, Go To Bars, And More According His To Special Parole Conditions

Today marks exactly one month since Bobby Shmurda was released from New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility. The rapper spent almost seven years behind bars after accepting a plea deal on conspiracy to commit murder and weapons possession charges. His first month of freedom was well-documented, with a profile of his first day out published in GQ to a few club appearances with some of his rap peers. Bobby’s release from prison did come with some conditions, and thanks to documents obtained by TMZ, we now know what those are.

Bobby, who is under parole supervision until February 23, 2026, is not allowed to drink alcohol, attend any bars, or associate with gangs. He also has a curfew of 8 p.m., must submit to drug testing, and receive aggression and anger counseling. An additional component of the parole conditions is that Bobby must seek, obtain, and maintain employment, but with the world waiting on his official return to the hip-hop world, accomplishing that part should be no issue. He also landed a few performance slots during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in Atlanta earlier this month.

The parole conditions explain a video that emerged at the end of last month, in which was seen turning down a drink during a club appearance. After the video circulated throughout social media, the rapper reposted it on his Instagram story and wrote, “Hell nah a n**** on parole.”

Rick Ross Admits To Passing Out During Sex Back When He Was Drinking Lean

Prior to getting his health in order, Rick Ross suffered scares that left his loved ones, and fans, concerned.  In 2018, it was reported that Ross had a seizure on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis, causing the pilot to issue an emergency landing. In his memoir Hurricanes, Ross recalled that his abuse of Lean caused him to lose some of his faculties, even defecating on himself while in bed with a woman. The rapper has gotten himself into the gym and has spoken about changing his habits in order to improve his health, but a story he shared with Big Boy’s Neighborhood in 2019 has resurfaced where the rapper spoke about passing out during sex.

Benny The Butcher Says He Jumped On A Plane For Potential Jay-Z Collab

Fresh off of the release of The Plugs I Met 2, Benny The Butcher still has fans itching for more music, whether it’s in the form of a new project or guest verses. The rapper recently revealed that the Drake collaboration is still set to be released in the future, though he didn’t specify when. The Roc Nation signee has previously revealed his desire to work with Jay-Z which nearly came to fruition.

The rapper paid a visit to Bootleg Kev’s podcast where he discussed the possibilities of working with Jay-Z in the future. Kev described the potential collaboration as “inevitable” before adding that a verse from Hov isn’t something that everyone gets. “I asked him, though,” Benny admitted, “but that’s nothing you can really ask for, though.” He explained that Jay-Z is regularly available to him, and even if he doesn’t get a 16 from Hov, there’s always knowledge to be soaked up. “That deal at the NFL, I knew that before it happened. I was in the Roc Nation building. Someone said, ‘Watch what happens on Thursday.’ And then that Square shit happened,” he explained, revealing that his contract was signed just before Jay-Z announced the deal with the NFL.

“His door is open, you know what I’m sayin’? So, it’s a lot to be gained. I don’t want him to be feeling that… that type, ‘I just want the song’ ’cause it ain’t like that,” he continued, revealing that he reached out to Emory about getting the Jay-Z verse. “What did he say? What did Hov tell me? I think he was going out of town,” he said. “One time I flew out here. He had an idea of a song that he wanted to do with me and I flew out here to do a song with him but he was movin’ around and doin’ shit, you know what I’m sayin’? That’s the fuckin’ president times 10.”

Benny explained that he ended up missing Jay and never found out what the concept for the song would be but he said he’s honored that Hov even kept him in mind for a track. “If Hov get on a song with me, he gon’ give you an aesthetic of what he feel like the people want to hear on some street shit, I believe,” he said, explaining that he would want Jay-Z to come through with a verse similar to what he’d offer someone like Pusha T or Jeezy.

Roddy Ricch Shares Details On Next Album

“The Box” took over the globe, propelling Roddy Ricch to become hip-hop’s latest star. The success of the single, as well as his debut album, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, made him Compton’s next-up, and he’s been carrying the torch with pride. However, the release of “Heartless” that he debuted at the Grammys offered a promising glimpse into his sophomore release.

During a recent interview with Complex, the rapper went into detail about the direction he’s heading next that he describes as “more vulnerable” than his previous work. “I’m going to bring fans into my world more,” he said of the project. “I’m learning the balance. Like, OK, I’m not on Instagram, so I feel like I’ve got to bring them into my life more so they can feel me a little more.”

He added that he’s striving to bring it “back to the basics.” “There are all the old fans I had when I first started rapping, and these new fans that I got since the big album and Grammys and everything. So I want to bridge the gap between my old fans and my new fans. That’s what I’m on a mission to do with this next situation that I’m working on,” he said.

He didn’t confirm whether the next project is a continuation of the Feed The Streets series, even though he and his team have been teasing the third installment as his next release. “I feel like when the streets is hungry, you just feed them,” he said about details on his next project.
