Lil Nas X Admits He’s “Cried Himself To Sleep” Feeling Guilty About His Mother

Lil Nas X and social media virality have long gone hand in hand. Most recently, the Devil-filled visual for his latest single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name) and its accompanying Satan Shoes provoked a very split reaction from audiences, some of whom celebrated his creativity while others disapproved of the use of Satanist imagery.

Additionally, the Georgia native caught flack from social media users last week when a video of his mother begging for money on the street surfaced. He has already previously addressed his relationship with his mother, who suffers from substance abuse. “She’s an addict so we don’t have the closest relationship. Even trying to get her better – things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love…,” he said at the beginning of 2020. Doubling down on those comments, the pop star took to Twitter to clarify he absolutely feels guilty about his mother.

“I hate speaking on my personal life,” began the 22-year-old in a since-deleted tweet. He continued, “but y’all n*ggas don’t know how many nights I’ve cried myself to sleep feeling guilty because nothing i tried would help my mom.”

He finished, “paint me as the bad guy all you want, but at the end of the day, you don’t know me outside of this internet sh*t.”

This tweet-and-delete clarification from the Grammy winner comes after his father jumped to his defense on Instagram. “Despite what people say @lilnasx is the greatest kid a parent can be BLESSED with. Although his mom is in a struggle with an addiction she’s STILL a QUEEN and he goes through great lengths to make sure we’re taking care of,” he wrote.

He continued, “Those who have family members and friends dealing with addiction understands that there ain’t enough money you can throw at this situation to make it right. I dont usually address personal issues publicly but felt like this need to be.”

Jake Paul Responds To Claims That Ben Askren Fight Was Fixed

Jake Paul has been a polarizing figure in the world of boxing as many fans believe he shouldn’t be getting the time of day when it comes to massive coverage. Despite all of this, Paul has won every single one of his fights and on Saturday night, he defeated the likes of Ben Askren with a first-round knockout that left many fans shocked. While Askren tried to get up, the referee deemed him unfit to continue which allowed Jake to walk away with the win.

Due to the quickness with which the referee ended the fight, many began to claim that the entire thing was rigged in Paul’s favor. Of course, Paul has a small stake in Triller, and since the fight was broadcast through Triller, there were some conspiracy theories floating around.

Jake Paul ended up seeing all of the allegations on social media, and this afternoon, he decided to respond. Taking to Twitter, Paul wrote, “Everyone saying the fight was rigged is tweeting off their moms WiFi.” While this doesn’t exactly prove anything one way or another, it’s an indication that Paul has seen what you’re all saying, and he doesn’t appreciate the slander.

From an objective standpoint, it was apparent from the beginning that Paul was the better technical boxer, and had the fight gone on longer, Paul probably would have finished the job. As true as this may be, the internet is always going to go for the more entertaining option.

Kash Doll Trolled Kevin Durant Into Thinking His Fans Jumped Her

Kash Doll’s getting into her TV bag right now. The rapper is readying a massive debut on 50 Cent’s upcoming BMF show along with a slew of other stars. Over the past few months, she’s offered a few updates on set but it appears that during those times when she isn’t shooting, she’s channeling 50 Cent’s online presence on social media.

It was only a few weeks ago when Kash Doll and Kevin Durant had a brief back-and-forth on Twitter debating who the real KD is. Kash tweeted lyrics from JT’s verse on “Said Sum (Remix).” “All these n***as wanna fuck KD,” she tweeted before Kevin Durant reminded her that she isn’t the only KD in the game. “You did not have to use those initials to get this tweet off… U have to relax with the KD talk, your name is KASHDOLL,” Durant replied.

The ongoing debate took a hilarious turn last night when Kash Doll revealed that she pranked Durant into thinking that his fanbase attacked her. She explained that she was on set for the final day of BMF filming with her make-up on from the show which included a black eye and a bloody nose.

“Y’all i FaceTimed Kevin Durant last night on set while my (black eye and bloody nose make up was on) and told him his fans did that to me bc of the KD argument,” she tweeted. “y’all should’ve seen his face!!! He was so concerned until i started laughing then he hung up.”

Unfortunately, documentation of this interaction hasn’t been released to the public but she said there is a screenshot of his reaction on her phone. “He said that’s yo problem you play too much,” she added with a laughing emoji. She later confirmed that 50 Cent was on set while this happened, presumably laughing at the entire interaction.

Carmelo Anthony Hilariously Fails The “Pass The Phone” Challenge

Carmelo Anthony’s time with the Portland Trail Blazers has been a story of triumph. Just over a year ago, Anthony was considered down and out, all while fans weren’t giving him much of a chance at a comeback. In the end, however, Melo was able to prove everyone wrong and as a member of the Blazers, he has been impeccable. Players like Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have completely embraced him, showing what an impact Melo has had thus far.

As one of the stars on the team, Anthony is always being asked to participate in extra-curricular team challenges that are meant for social media. For instance, over the weekend, Melo was asked to do the “Pass The Phone” challenge with other Blazers stars. For those who don’t know, the challenge asks the first person to deliver a description of who they are passing the phone to, without naming that person. Then the next person does the same thing and the process repeats over and over.

Unfortunately, Melo did not get the message that you are not supposed to say the person’s name. As you can see in the clip below, Melo immediately begins to describe Enes Kanter, and even says his name numerous times. Eventually, the clip went viral after being posted by HouseOfHighlights, and Melo couldn’t help but laugh at himself as he took to the comments with some laughing emojis.

To be fair, Melo is one of the older players in the league, so when it comes to TikTok challenges, we should all be giving him a break.

Young Thug & YSL Score Win Big With ‘Slime Language 2’ Sales Projections

Young Thug and the various talents under his Young Stoner Life imprint finally released their long-awaited and highly-anticipated album Slime Language 2 on Friday (April 18th). The collaborative project features tracks from YSL members CEO Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Keed, Karlae, Unfoonk, Lil Duke, Dolly White, HiDoraah, Strick, T-Shyne, BSlime, Yak Gotti, and Yung Kayo. Additionally, Drake, YNW Melly, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Rowdy Rebel, Skepta, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, NAV, Yung Bleu, Coi Leray also appeared on the project.

With such an impressive lineup, it’s no wonder early sales projections anticipate a huge W for YSL with the new project. According to these projections, Slime Language 2 will most likely debut at the summit of the Billboard 200 chart.

The compilation album is expected to move between 125,000 to 140,000 album-equivalent units within its first week, with 3,000 to 5,000 of those sales coming from pure album sales. This is a stark contrast to the pair’s original Slime Language installment, which debuted at the 8th spot on the Billboard chart with 41,000 copies sold.

Likely catching wind of the sales projections, Thugger took to Instagram to celebrate the news. “I just took a whole company number one,” gushed the label head.

“I’m ready to die about Future. I’m ready to die by a Lil Baby, Durk And Uzi. I’m ready to die by these people. You know what I’m saying?” Thug explained about the star-studded feature list of the project. “If it ever comes down to it, this shit ain’t got nothing to do with no music. They was a part of the whole situation. There was a part of the whole thing. I always turn them to family.

Congrats to the YSL crew!

Desiree Lindstrom, X’s fiancée, was by his side at the time of his passing. After his passing, Krystal Kills of Black Ink Crew revealed that Lindstrom got an X tattoo on her arm in dedication to the rapper.

Lindstrom took to Instagram yesterday where she offered a glimpse into their relationship, beginning with the moment they met each other. “The first night we met and you held me close,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself and DMX. “I knew I would never let go. I was lost in you and nothing else mattered. My best friend, my baby, my love…truly my everything. Thank you for us. Thank you for Exodus. Thank you God for Earl Simmons…forever X.”

DMX passed away on April 9th at the age of 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital in New York after he was hospitalized from a heart attack. “Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end,” a statement from his family read. “He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time.”

Lil Poppa & Toosii Connect For “A.M. Flights”

One of the most promising new acts on the scene Lil Poppa has been busy kicking off the rollout of his highly anticipated debut studio project Blessed, I Guess. He’s been teasing fans about the upcoming album for some time and this week treated listeners to the brand new Toosii-featured single “A.M. Flights.”

The result of the exciting collaboration between the relative game newcomers is a tune that shows the softer side of both artists. Inspired by the lovely lady in the Jacksonville native’s life, who also stars in the video, the track pays ode to her being a positive presence in his life. As for his upcoming full-length project set to be released via Interscope Records, more details about the date of its release and guest features will be revealed sometime soon.

Alongside debuting the track, the duo shared the accompanying visual. Tap into “A.M. Flights” below and let us know how you feel about it down in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics

I’m smoking presidential bud and I need you to be my first lady
It ain’t the day you was born, but I need you in your birthday suit
You know I don’t know play, ’bout my business like a businessman
Don’t get mad when you can’t come, too many K’s on this Sprinter van

DMX’s Fiancée Desiree Lindstorm Reflects On The First Time She Met The Late Rapper

DMX has received a number of tributes from fans and celebrities — both in and outside the music world — from all corners since his unfortunate death on April 9. Some members of his family, including his daughter and ex-wife, have also shared individual messages and tributes to the late rapper and the latest one arrives from his fiancée Desiree Lindstorm. In a post on Instagram, she reflected on the first night they met and how their love grew from there.

“The first night we met and you held me close,” she said. “I knew I would never let go. I was lost in you and nothing else mattered. My best friend, my baby, my love…truly my everything.” She added, “Thank you for us. Thank you for Exodus. Thank you God for Earl Simmons…forever X.” DMX and Lindstorm had one child together, their 4-year-old son Exodus. The rapper proposed to her back in 2019 during their son’s third birthday party in what was an extremely sweet moment.

The news comes after the rapper’s family announced that a public memorial would be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 24. Unfortunately for those who hoped to attend the service, DMX’s family has chosen to limit the event to only close friends and family. Despite this, the memorial will be livestreamed for people to watch.
