DJ Khaled’s upcoming album Khaled Khaled is on the way. In fact, the affable mogul recently shared a status update on the project’s overall completion, teasing that it was sitting at a healthy 97.7 percent.

Guests, while not confirmed by way of a direct tracklist, appear to include Post Malone, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Migos, H.E.R, Buju Banton, Nas, and many more. As of today, a new name can be added to the mix, as Khaled recently shared an Instagram post indicating that he joined forces with the legendary Lil Wayne. 

In true Khaled fashion, his caption tells us little about the nature of what’s to come, instead focusing on the DJ’s unbridled enthusiasm for the art of the collaboration. To his credit, Khaled has never been shy about giving his favorite artists their flowers, and his ability to play nicely with others has clearly proven fruitful.

“ICON ALERT,” he captions, alongside an intriguing image of him and Weezy gazing sky-bound. “My brother!” Brother indeed, given their frequent collaborative rate. Of course, Wayne’s presence still lingers every time the “We Taking Over” instrumental kicks off, given how thoroughly he bodied it not once but twice. While it’s unlikely that Khaled will quarterback another bar-heavy banger of similar nature, given that his last Lil Wayne-assisted single was “I’m The One,” it should be interesting to see what the duo manage to cook up for Khaled Khaled.

Jake Paul’s boxing career has been fairly brief although it has certainly been successful from both a notoriety and financial standpoint. Over the weekend, Paul was able to defeat the likes of Ben Askren through first-round knockout and now, he is looking for his next opponent. Many want to see Paul fight against a real opponent with boxing experience. So far, Paul has fought FIFA YouTubers, a former NBA player, and a washed-up MMA fighter, which doesn’t exactly give his career too much legitimacy.

While Paul looks for that next challenger, it seems as though yet another former NBA player has come out of the woodwork to propose a fight. This time around, it is the likes of Kendall Gill, who had a solid NBA career. Gill is now 52 years old and over the last decade, he has taken up boxing and is actually 4-0 for his career.

Gill has been pressuring Paul to give him a fight contract for over a week now and there are some former NBA players who are encouraging this matchup. Of course, Paul is less than half of Gill’s age, which certainly would be a detriment for the ex-NBA star should they actually lace up the gloves.

At this point, it seems like Paul is gunning for someone more esteemed in the fight game, although Perhaps Gill could get his shot in the future should Jake decide to reverse course.

Lil Yachty shared on Sunday afternoon that his friend, 23-year-old Nicholas Anthony Lynch, had gone missing. He was last seen near Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles. He was found within the same day.

The Atlanta-based rapper shared an urgent message for his fans on social media, telling everyone that his friend had gone missing in Los Angeles without a phone or a way to contact anybody. “Help find my brother pls,” he wrote on Instagram, sharing Nicholas’ information. Pointing out any pertinent information in the description, including the clothing he was wearing, his height and weight, and more, Lil Yachty gratefully told his followers that his friend had been found.

“Nick Found,” he wrote on Twitter. “Thank u to everyone who helped share the missing post of my friend, I am grateful.”

Perhaps as a celebratory means, Boat announced that he would be releasing a new song on Monday. “I’ma drop a song tmmr on my YouTube,” he said shortly after his friend was found.

Wendy Williams seems to always have something to say about rapper Youngboy Never Broke Again. As part of the Hot Topics portion of her popular daytime talk show, the highly opinionated host has criticized the 21-year-old “Make No Sense” artist for a myriad of reasons, including the number of children he’s responsible for. After recent reports this weekend, it’s rumored that NBA Youngboy is presently expecting his eighth child, this time with his girlfriend Jazlyn Mychelle.

On past episodes of her show, Wendy Williams has made “baby mama charts” for rappers, including Youngboy Never Broke Again, making fun of the artist and his personal life. She has taken aim at Yaya Mayweather, one of his ex-girlfriends, after she allegedly stabbed another one of YB’s baby mamas. She’s also exchanged words with Youngboy’s mother, who used her social media platform to call out Wendy for constantly having something negative to say about her son. It looks like enough is finally enough and Youngboy is speaking out for himself, addressing Wendy in an alleged letter from jail.

Currently incarcerated following an arrest a few weeks ago, NBA Youngboy allegedly wrote the following letter, which has been shared by multiple sources. “I can leave my kids millions of dollars to divide but can’t give them the time they truly deserve,” he wrote in the post. “Nobody understand me they never did sh*t some times I don’t understand myself but that’s fine because I’m okay I ain’t looking for you to feel sorry I just ask for one thing- For you to let me suffer in peace tell MS. WENDY WILLIAM I say she got a good soul and she’s a beautiful women I can see that threw all the bad comments thrown at her tell her count her blessings (STAY IN GOOD SPIRIT) Sincerely Kentrell.”

Jake Paul’s fight against Ben Askren brought forth a ton of reactions from social media as many people felt like the whole thing was staged in Paul’s favor. Within the first round, Paul was able to knock Askren out and for many MMA fans, the entire occasion was akin to blasphemy. Askren seemed almost happy to have lost, all while Jake tried to put on a show afterward. It was the event Triller was hoping for, despite some fans feeling robbed.

The Pay Per View for the fight was a grand total of $50 USD and as Jake noted on Instagram, they were able to get 1.3 million people to sign up and pay the full amount. This means Triller was able to cash in $65 million which is pretty incredible when you think about it.

Paul’s salary for the actual fight was just $690,000, however, since he has a stake in Triller, he will certainly be seeing a slice of this pie. In the end, sports are a business and Paul was able to figure out how to get a solid finesse in. As for Askren, well, he’ll have to live with the embarrassment from this fight for the rest of his life.

Whether it was worth it or not, remains to be seen.

Demi Lovato has started a hashtag to call out “diet culture vultures” in response to the Los Angeles frozen yogurt shop The Big Chill selling sugar-free cookies and “other diet foods” at the check-out counter.

“Finding it extremely hard to order froyo from [The Bigg Chill] when you have to walk past tons of sugar-free cookies/other diet foods before you get to the counter,” the singer posted on her Instagram story. “Do better please.”

She added that she’s using the hashtag “#dietculturevultures” to call out “harmful messaging from brands or companies that perpetuate a society that not only enables but praises disordered eating.”

Lovato, who has spoken about dealing with an eating disorder in the past, has also struggled with drug addiction. She recently spoke about how DMX’s death impacted her: 

Any time that I see somebody OD or even pass away that’s in the public eye, I immediately think, ‘that could have been you had you not been putting all this work in the last couple of years of your life. I feel like there’s times where I’ve even talked about feeling survivor’s guilt because you do ask yourself, well, why am I still here? And why are others not? It’s a challenging thing to get over but, ultimately, I had to realize that every day is a day that someone else doesn’t get. Every day that I’m here on this earth is a day that I need to be counting my blessings and just being appreciative and grateful. Also, it makes me want to live the best life I can possibly live knowing that others didn’t get the same chance that I did.
