Coi Leray Confirms City Girls “Big Purr” Remix As Beef With Rolling Ray Continues

As Coi Leray shuts the door on the beef with her father Benzino, another has swung wide open as the rapper continues to be at odds with Rolling Ray. We previously reported on the unlikely beef that began after Ray openly accused Leray of stealing his signature word-phrase-sound “Purrrr.” Leray recently released her single “Big Purr (Prrdd)” featuring Poo Shiesty, and immediately, Rolling Ray took issue.

He later released his own “Purr”-centered track titled “BigPurrr,” and Ray continues to call out the rising rap star. Meanwhile, Coi Leray caused fan base mayhem after she revealed that City Girls would appear on the remix of “Big Purr.”

“City Girls on Big Prrd would be a movie,” Leray tweeted. She joked, “Still waiting for Jt to send her verse back!! she to busy on them got damn boats drinking mimosas an sh*t.” City Girls have also had their past run-ins with Rolling Ray, as he’s come after them, as well, in addition to Ray’s vicious beef with Saucy Santana, Yung Miami’s best friend.

After Rolling Ray sent out another video targeting Leray, she tweeted what looks to be a final message to her foe. “Rolling ray. You will never prosper in life if you forever have that hate in your heart. Look Lil purr, stop taking your frustration out on others ! We don’t want to be miserable with you! Please stop ! God Bless !”

She added, “And that’s on PERIOD.” Check it all out below.

Blueface Responds To Backlash Over BCG: “WTF Is A Cult?”

It feels like it’s been a while since Blueface actually dropped any music. The success of “Thotiana” propelled him towards stardom but it seems that he’s found a passion in reality television. Blue Girls Club has been his primary focus throughout the pandemic but fans got a glimpse at the conditions the show’s contestants were living in. Many were outraged at the tattoos these women were getting in honor of Blueface but what’s worse is that he had them sleeping on bunk beds.

The rapper’s name began trending alongside R. Kelly’s on Twitter as he faced allegations of forming a cult with the women that are getting tattoos of his name. “Wtf is a cult,” he tweeted on Monday before elaborating on the point of his TV series.

“For those who are curious my show is a 3-week series I move women in from all over the US fly them out to cali put them under one roof,” he explained. “I own 2 homes I don’t stay there I take care of all there financial needs while they are here i promote there brands etc we film all day tune in.”

He continued, “We don’t tolerate any sexual conduct between men and women so the women do tend to grow interest in each other because of this but they are adults at the end of the day it’s only so much I can control so what they do with each other is apart of the show.”

Blueface continued plugging the show before comparing the living conditions of his contestants to those on America’s Top Model who also were sleeping on bunk beds.

Claudia Jordan Denies Saying Kanye Tried To Get With Her While With Kim

An interview has landed Claudia Jordan in hot water, but she’s denying recent reports that she said anything inappropriate. Jordan was accused of suggesting that during a night out years ago, Kanye West attempted to hook up with her while in a relationship with Kim Kardashian. During her interview with The Domenick Nati Show, the host told her that he was unaware that she was in a relationship and added that he was going to ask her if she would be interested in Kanye West.

“He tried years ago,” said Jordan. Her boyfriend, who was right next to her, joked that this all sounded like an “indecent proposal.” The boyfriend also said that he wouldn’t think Ye would want Jordan’s “vagine” because he’s too crazy, but the actress was insistent that the rap icon “tried years ago.” She said, “Me and Nikki Chu were in the club. He was—They shut the door. I told you that whole story.”

Domenick asked Jordan directly if she was saying Kanye tried to hook up with her. She began her answer with a laugh. “I met him before and, you know what, I hung out with Kim, as well. And girl code. I couldn’t do it. Let’s say that.” The quote went viral, as did the video of the interview, but Claudia Jordan is now saying she never said it—at least, not suggesting that Kanye was with Kim.

“I’d really appreciate it yall stopped lying on my for clicks,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I NEVER said that Sh*t! No More interviews with unknowns trying to make a name for themselves with click bait!” In another slide, she added, ” For the LAST time- Kanye NEVER tried to get with me, hit on me or flirt with me while married to Kim! Fake NEWs!”

Claudia also wanted to address the famous couple directly. “To Kim, Kanye and your families I’m so sorry this ever happened! I never wanted to cause any of you and harm or stress. I’m furious about this whole mess and taking a break for my own sanity. If I ever do any interviews again don’t ask me sh*t about any body else BUT me, my career and the projects I’m workin on PERIOD!”

You can check out Jordan’s posts as well as her interview below. Her comments about Kanye West begin around the 1-minute mark.

Michael Jackson Estate Cleared In Wade Robson’s Lawsuit: Report

Wade Robson‘s lawsuit against Michael Jackson’s estate has been tossed, a judge ruled in court. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Los Angeles judge has determined that Robson can not sue any of Michael Jackson’s businesses over allegations of sexual abuse. The judge said there was no relationship between the businesses and Wadeson that made them legally responsible for his safety against any abuse.  However, Robson’s attorney has stated that he’s already planning on filing for an appeal.

Robson initially filed a lawsuit against the estate in 2013 on claims that MJ sexually abused him for a decade. MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures were at the center of these allegations because Robson said that they enabled the singer. Robson re-filed a lawsuit against the companies after the release of Leaving Neverland

“There is no evidence supporting Plaintiff’s contention that Defendants exercised control over Jackson,” Judge Young wrote in his ruling. “The evidence further demonstrates that Defendants had no legal ability to control Jackson, because Jackson had complete and total ownership of the corporate defendants. Without control, there is no special relationship or duty that exists between Defendants and Plaintiff. In addition, there is no evidence of misfeasance by Defendants.”

This marks the second lawsuit against Jackson’s estate that was dismissed in court. Last year, Michael Jackson’s businesses were cleared in a lawsuit filed by James Safechuck, whose allegations were also detailed in Leaving Neverland.

The Team Behind ‘Framing Britney Spears’ Is Tackling The Janet Jackson Super Bowl Incident

When the documentary series Framing Britney Spears bowed on HBO back in February, it caused an avalanche of support to come the singer’s way. Long a target of condescending press coverage — not to mention still legally under the control of her domineering father — Spears found the public finally rallying to her side, hoping to correct years of unfair coverage. Now the team behind the doc look to be trying to do for Janet Jackson what they did for Britney.

According to US Weekly, Left/Right TV, who produced the Spears doc, are at work on a movie about the infamous halftime show at Super Bowl XXXVIII, in 2004. That’s the one where a performance by Jackson and Justin Timberlake resulted in a “wardrobe malfunction,” in which the latter ripped off part of her costume, exposing one of her breasts for half a second. The incident led to a massive fallout. The FCC tried, and failed, to fine CBS for over half a billion dollars, while some accused the two of staging it, with Jackson receiving more vitriol than Timberlake.

Neither Jackson nor Timberlake are involved in the movie, though the former is working on a documentary about her own career to coincide with the forthcoming 40th anniversary of her debut album, Janet Jackson. Timberlake, meanwhile, has come under fire over the last couple years, as the public has begun viewing his treatment of both Jackson and Spears, who he once dated, with a more critical eye. Indeed, after Framing Britney Spears debuted, he issued a formal apology to both parties.

“I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Because of my ignorance, I didn’t recognize it for all that it was while it was happening in my own life but I do not want to ever benefit from others being pulled down again.”

It looks like artists might actually be able to finally hit the road this year following an extended break due to the pandemic. Though there have been a few artists who’ve collected the backend through club performances, it’s the festival scene and the arena atmosphere that people are longing to return to.
