Bizzy Banks Calls Out CJ For Allegedly Jacking His Flow & Lingo

Yet another prominent personality within Brooklyn’s rap scene is coming for buzzing “Whoopty” rapper CJ, claiming that he owes him credit for allegedly stealing his flows and lyrics. Bizzy Banks is making the accusations, calling out the rising star for allegedly doing him dirty.

Updating his Instagram Story on Monday by taking a shot at CJ, Bizzy Banks said, “That CJ n***a need to give me my credit no cap.. n***a jacking my lingo & flow I’m tired of not getting the recognition I deserve. I started this new wave of drill rap let’s talk about it.” When the accusations were reposted by DJ Akademiks, two of their songs were intermeshed in a secondary slide, showing instances where CJ may have been influenced by Bizzy Banks. In one particular song, Bizzy raps, “Can’t f*ck with no b*tch that’s basic” while CJ has a song where he says, “Can’t f*ck on no hoe that’s basic.” The video contains 2-3 other times where their lyrics were nearly identical.

This is not the first time CJ has gotten called out by another New York rapper. A few weeks ago, 22Gz said something similar about the rapper, comparing him to Tekashi 6ix9ine. “Heard he ain’t even whoopty fr why steal my sauce and not show love?” he said in January.

Previously, CJ addressed speculation that he’s an “industry plant.” He might need to do some explaining on this front soon too.

Cam Coldheart’s Family Allegedly Believe He Was Drugged Before His Sudden Death

Yesterday, we reported the tragic passing of up-and-coming Charlotte-based rapper Cam Coldheart this weekend (April 24). Coldheart, whose real name was Cameron Henigan, reportedly left behind two children. Reported to be just 33-years-old at the time of his death, his passing has been described as “sudden” by multiple sources.

While the cause of his death is still largely unclear and has yet to be revealed by official sources, the rapper’s family seems to believe that he was drugged the night he passed. Coldheart’s aunt announced his death on social media, expressing grief alongside multiple photos of her nephew.

“I’m going to miss us encouraging each other and giving each other our props!!!” she remembered him. “You was doing the damn thing!!! You were a Master 11 and very successful but you didn’t even fully tap into what the Universe had for you… Nevertheless I’m still proud of all your accomplishments.”

In response to a comment inquiring about how her nephew had died, his aunt penned, “We won’t know for sure until the autopsy is done… But there is speculation that he was drugged at a club the night before…”

Coldheart was previously known for having a physical altercation at a Louis Vuitton store with DaBaby. The fight was later revealed to allegedly be a hoax by Coldheart. “It’s time to tell y’all what really happened. What’s really going on in the Charlotte music scene? It was fake. It was a hoax, n***a. Some parts was real, but it was definitely heavily fabricated after the fact,” he explained.

As mentioned briefly before, he leaves behind two children whom “he cherished.”  Our prayers go out to Cam Coldheart’s loved ones and family during this difficult time.

Jacob Blake’s Uncle Arrested During Protest For Cop Returning To Kenosha Force

At the end of the summer last year, following mass demonstrations across the country regarding racialized police violence, another tragic instance of brutality occurred again in Kenosha, Wisconsin. On August 24th, Kenosha police officers shot 29-year-old unarmed Black man Jacob Blake six times in front of his children.

Blake was said to have been breaking up a verbal altercation between two women, and footage of the horrific incident shows him walking away from police before he was shot six times in the back. Rusten Sheskey, the officer who opened fire, was able to return to work this month, resulting in protests calling for his immediate dismissal. Justin Blake, the uncle of the victim, was among the many individuals arrested during the demonstration.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department said Monday (April 26) that three protestors were taken into custody during the protest, which occurred Sunday (April 25). The department reports Justin Blake, along with two other individuals, were arrested for what they claim was “disorderly conduct.” Justin was also charged with obstructing an officer.

All three individuals arrested were booked into the Kenosha County Jail after being placed in a transport van. By Monday afternoon, all three had posted bond and were no longer in police custody.

Back in January, Kenosha DA Michael Graveley suggested “self-defense” in explaining why no charges would be pursued against Sheskey for shooting Blake. In March, a federal civil rights lawsuit was eventually filed on behalf of Blake against the accused officer.

“While Jacob Blake survived being shot six times, his devastating injuries are permanent and life-changing,” said one of the lawyers involved during a news release detailing the lawsuit. “The bullet that severed Jacob’s spinal cord has left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. Jacob now suffers from an intractable pain syndrome. After various surgical procedures and an agonizing course of physical rehabilitation, Jacob remains unable to return to his job as a security guard and relies on others to assist him with the basic needs of daily living.”

Hopefully, there will be justice for Jacob Blake.

D12 Had Violent Fun On “Get My Gun”

There are many who would confidently declare D12’s 2001 debut album Devil’s Night to be a hip-hop classic, fueled by the inspired and twisted rhyming from the legendary Detroit crew. Arriving in the midst of Eminem’s arguable peak, it served to introduce the world to the talents of Swifty McVay, Kon Artis, Kuniva, Bizarre, and the late Big Proof, as well as their respective alter-egos. In 2004, the Dirty Dozen returned to the fold with D12 World, a sophomore album that featured production from Eminem, Mr. Porter, Hi-Tek, Kanye West, and Dr. Dre.

Having been officially released seventeen years ago to this day, it feels appropriate to revisit one of the album’s many nostalgic highlights — namely, the gleefully twisted “Get My Gun,” on which each member of the Dozen lends a verse. The arguable standout happens the be the man who sets it off, Swifty Mcvay, who deftly rides Eminem’s cartoonishly sinister instrumental with a sharpened flow. “Enough with you’re motherfucking tough talk, you’re soft,” he spits. “Get your balls blew off from a sawed-off, a raw dog crazier than all y’all / wet you like the navy when I’m angry, you’ll never catch me hanging in a Narc’s car.”

That’s not to say “Get My Gun” is a one-man show. The song shines as a showcase of D12’s unique chemistry, united by an appreciation for gallows humor and over-the-top violence. Though the crew is no longer active, there’s a reason that fans continue to revisit their brief but memorable discography. Happy seventeenth birthday to D12 World — how do you feel about the Dirty Dozen’s second studio album?

QUOTABLE LYRICS

Send the ni**as that’ll fuck with you
Stab and brass knuckle you
Then have you in the public, there’s nothing that you can do
Enough with you’re motherfucking tough talk, you’re soft
Get your balls blew off from a sawed-off, a raw dog
Crazier than all y’all, wet you like the navy when I’m angry
You’ll never catch me hanging in a Narc’s car

Summer Walker Says She’s Over Men: “Where The B*tches At?”

Summer Walker recently welcomed her first child with famed producer London on da Track sometime late last month. While she has been incredibly vague about the details surrounding her birth, her daughter’s name, and photos of the newborn, by the looks of it, she does seem to be enjoying motherhood.

On the other hand, the songstress and London have historically had a pretty rocky relationship. The on-again-off-again couple was on at the time of their daughter’s birth, posing for maternity photos together. Based on a recent post from the songstress, however, it seems like there may be trouble in paradise.

On her alternative Instagram account she often uses to express her more honest–and sometimes controversial thoughts, she hinted at being done with dating men. “Where the b*tches at?” penned the singer on her Instagram story yesterday, adding in a rainbow emoji signifying her alleged joining of the queer community.

She continued up with a more raunchy second post, “I never wanna see another [eggplant emoji] again I’m scarred fo life,” throwing in. a laughing emoji.

While it’s not clear exactly who the Over It artist could be hinting scarred her, her relationship with London on da Track has been notably tumultuous.

It is worth noting that they have both wiped all evidence of one another from their socials, so they may very well be going through a rough patch. As usual, though, it’s no telling when or if these two will reconcile eventually.

Moneybagg Yo Explains Why Ari Always Blocks Him On Social Media

Every other week, there seems to be a report released about Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher possibly breaking up after the blogs notice that they’re no longer following one another. Then, usually a few hours after, they start following each other again and it’s as if the rumors never existed in the first place. But why are they caught in this vicious circle? According to a recent interview with the Memphis rapper, it’s because Ari is always blocking and unblocking him.

Responding to a fan about the status of his relationship with Ari, Moneybagg Yo said that his relationship with the social media influencer is a “forever thing”. He elaborated on that during a Zoom call with The Morning Hustle.

“It’s going on almost two years in October,” he said. “She understands, she get it. […] With this situation I can talk how I want, I can say what I want, she accepts it. She gets it. She knows what’s going on. That’s how the money coming in. So why would she interfere in that? She understands everything, she’s like my homie at the same time. She’s like my friend at the same time. It’s love.”

Answering a follow-up question about their recent social media drama, in which they were both found to be unfollowing the other, Bagg said, “We just wanted to get away from the social media sh*t but we live with each other. We see each other every– she with me right now. All the social media, like, we try to get away from all that but it is what it is. They see us.”

Moneybagg Yo says that the longest amount of time he’s been blocked by his girlfriend Ari is a few hours before she changed her mind.

Things Between Lizzo And Chris Evans Have Progressed Since She Sent Him Drunk DMs

Lizzo delivered a delightfully fun story last week when she shared that after a few drinks, she found herself in an impaired state and decided to send a message to actor Chris Evans on Instagram. To recap how that went down, Lizzo sent him three emojis: a puff of air, a woman playing handball, and a basketball, implying that she was “shooting her shot.” Evans was a good sport and responded, “No shame in a drunk DM [kissy face emoji] god knows I’ve done worse on this app lol [facepalm emoji].”

Now, the saga continues, as Lizzo has offered an update on how the situation has evolved. On TikTok, Lizzo shared a video responding to somebody who asked how things are going on the Evans front, and she responded by sharing a screenshot of their chat, only making it visible for a few quick frames of video.

The messages are visible when the video is paused, though, and Lizzo responded to Evans’ message with, “Well.. they say u miss 100% of the shots you never take [side-eye emoji] (and even tho I unsent it like a dork [facepalm emoji]) I’m glad u know I exist now [heart face emojis].” Evans responded, “Of course I do! I’m a fan! Keep up the great work!! xxx.” The two most recent messages after that are partially blocked and can’t fully be seen, but as BuzzFeed speculates, it seems Lizzo mentioned something about doing a shot and Evans responded by saying he’d buy it.

Check out a screenshot of Lizzo and Evans’ DMs below.

Texas PD Make Arrest In Murder Of Chief Keef’s Artist Tray Savage: Report

There finally seems to be some positive updates in the case surrounding the murder of Tray Savage, an artist signed under Chief Keef’s Glo Gang imprint. In June of last year, we reported that the 26-year-old rapper was tragically shot and killed on the South Side of the city around 11 am.

According to reports, he was dropping his girlfriend off back at home when he was shot in the neck and shoulder by an unknown aggressor, subsequently causing him to crash into three parked cars. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Now, police officers have reportedly finally made an arrest in the case

According to the Chicago Tribune, a murder warrant was issued for 20-year-old Demitri Jackson and he was recently arrested while out in Forth Worth, Texas. He was then extradited back to Chicago to face charges where he then received a bail hearing on Sunday (April 25). Judge David R. Navarro denied his bail and ordered him to return back to court later this week.

As briefly explained, Tray Savage was shot and killed on the 8100 block of South Evans Avenue in the Chatham neighborhood on June 19, 2020. Prosecutors explain that Jackson and the late rapper were affiliated with the same gang, but they failed to explain what specifically triggered the shooting.

Authorities explain Jackson and Tray Savage “interacted” with each other from their vehicles before driving off in different directions. Around 15 minutes later, Jackson returned with his white Mazda SUV and waited for once Savage returned, where he then allegedly opened fire.

Prosecutors note they recognized Jackson’s unmasked visage from convenience store footage captured right before the incident. Additionally, they recognized his distinct limped walk, a result of a gunshot wound in 2018.

Jackson is scheduled to return to court on Friday (April 30). We’ll keep you updated as the case develops.

Kim Kardashian & Van Jones Dating Rumors Start Back Up

When it was first reported that Kim Kardashian was filing for divorce from her husband Kanye West, the world instantly started theorizing on who they could move on with in their next relationships. For Kanye, a TikToker started the untrue rumor that he was hooking up with beauty guru Jeffree Star. That speculation quickly dissolved as it was revealed that there was no truth to it. As for Kardashian, people wondered if she was dating Van Jones, the lawyer and left-wing political commentator. Those rumors also drifted by the wayside after neither of them confirmed nor denied.

After Kim’s latest posts, showing her drive as she studies to become a lawyer herself, people have started to connect her again to Van Jones. While the two have not been spotted together for a while, spectators are wondering whether Kim could be “using” Jones to further herself in the legal world. The demeaning comments completely disregard her long-standing aspiration to follow in her father Robert Kardashian’s footsteps to become a lawyer.

Once again, neither Kim nor Van has confirmed rumors that they’re romantic partners. However, if they are dating, it would make sense that a common interest in law brought them closer together. It seems as though everyone would be glad to see them debut themselves as a couple, but for now, it’s pretty unnecessary for the constant commentary about them maybe dating.

Kim Kardashian’s reps have reportedly stated that she’s taking it slow and isn’t in a rush to find her next partner, despite a list of celebrities, athletes, billionaires, and even members of the Royal Family shooting their shots. Kanye West reportedly wants to move on “with an artist.”
