Israel Adesanya defeated Marvin Vettori by unanimous decision for the middleweight championship in the main event of UFC 263 from Glendale, Arizona. The final scoring was 50-45, 50-45, 50-45.

“I’m the motherf—— king, b—-.” Adesanya said after the fight when interviewed by Joe Rogan.

The victory is the 10th straight win for Adesanya within the division. Saturday night’s win was Adesanya’s third successful defense of his middleweight title. He has yet to lose at 185 pounds and is ranked third on ESPN’s pound-for-pound men’s MMA fighter list.

The fight was a rematch of their 2018 bout, in which Adesanya won by a split decision. The fight was one of the most challenging in Adesanya’s career and Vettori still claims he should have won the fight.

In the time since their last meeting, Vettori has been undefeated, winning his last five fights, and last beating Kevin Holland in April by unanimous decision. On the other hand, Adesanya lost to Jan Blachowicz in March after moving up a weight class for the bout.

Earlier in the night, Leon Edwards defeated Nate Diaz via unanimous decision and Brandon Moreno defeated Deiveson Figueiredo via third-round submission to become the first Mexican-born UFC champion.

Kid Rock doubled down on using homophobic slurs, this week, after receiving backlash for saying the f-word on stage at a recent concert.

“Post this dick rock now,” he added pointing at his groin.

After public backlash for the incident, Rock took to Twitter to defend himself.

“If Kid Rock using the word f****t offends you, good chance you are one,” the singer wrote on his Twitter. “Either way, I know he has a lot of love for his gay friends and I will have a talk with him. Have a nice day.”

He ended the tweet by crediting it to his real name, Bob Ritchie.

“LGBT youth seriously contemplate suicide at almost three times the rate of heterosexual youth,” one user replied to the post. “Do not normalize the use of the F word. It really is a matter of life or death for some of these kids.”

This week’s incident isn’t the first time Rock has come under fire for homophobia. Back in 2015, told the Guardian that rap-rock has “turned into a lot of bulls – – t” adding that it is “pretty gay. If someone says you can’t say ‘gay’ like that, you tell them to go f – – k themselves.”

“It’s important to have recognizable faces, and faces that represent brands that they build,” Williams said regarding the initiative.

In addition to the “Women Who Lead” event, there will also be a series of interactive mentorship workshops.

“Even when you have a great business plan you might not find the right operators,” Williams says. “[The mentorship program] teaches you all of those things. Success really does have a lot of authors. Usually when you say ‘success has a lot of authors’ it’s a dig at people who didn’t do something but are taking the credit. In this particular sense when it comes to running a business, success does have a lot of authors – there are a lot of signatures needed to cosign to get a brand new idea off the ground.”

Williams has worked with Chanel numerous times in the past for various campaigns and events.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Says She Doesn’t Believe In Evolution: “I Believe In God”

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says that she doesn’t believe in evolution and instead, that she believes in God. Greene’s comments on evolution came during an interview on Real America’s Voice, hosted by Steve Bannon, during which the two discussed the origin of the coronavirus.

“I don’t buy it because I don’t believe in evolution,” the Republican explained. “I don’t believe in that type of so-called science. I don’t believe in evolution, I believe in God.”

When discussing COVID-19, both pondered the idea of the virus being leaked from a Wuhan Lab where researchers “experiment with like some sort of Dr. Frankenstein experiments.”

“Why is there any need to create a virus that could spread rapidly to a population, to make people sick and kill them? That is a bioweapon,” Greene said.

Greene, who has referred to the school shootings in Parkland and Newtown as “false flag” operations and harassed victims of the shootings, was stripped from her committee assignments, earlier this year. She’s also expressed support for 9/11 conspiracy theories, and claimed that California wildfires are caused by “space lasers.”

Bannon has previously advocated that Anthony Fauci should be beheaded, causing him to be permanently suspended from Twitter.

Le’Veon Bell Says He’ll Never Play For Andy Reid Again: “I’d Retire First”

Free-agent running back Le’Veon Bell dissed his former coach, Andy Reid, with an Instagram comment, in which he claimed he’d rather retire than play under Reid again.

“I’ll never play for Andy Reid again,” Bell wrote. “I’d retire first.”

The comment came under a post from RapTV about someone who spent over $700 at McDonald’s.

Bell signed on to play under Reid for the Kansas City Chiefs during Week 6 of the 2020 season.

While Bell didn’t explain his beef with the Super Bowl-winning head coach, Reid didn’t provide Bell with the typical amount of play-time that a three-time Pro Bowler would warrant.

Last month, Bell appeared to take a shot at Reid, but he didn’t call out any one of his former coaches by name.

“Lol the only difference with the steelers was they gave me opportunity,” Bell wrote on Twitter, replying to a fan who said he’s been a let down the last three years since being a member of the Steelers. “Haven’t had that since I left, I probably need to play for a defensive minded head coach instead of these offensive minded guru’s …”

Now knowing Bell’s frustration with Reid, it’s certainly possible this was a shot at the offensive-focused Kansas City coach.
