MadGic, Madlib & Logic, Return With Collabortative Single “Raddest Dad”

Fatherhood has been treating Logic well and the retired rapper has returned with another track. At the tail end of last month, we received the first single from MadGic, the standout collaboration between Logic and Madlib. The pair delivered “Mars Only Pt. 3,” and as fans ate up everything they were serving, the public has been awaiting more information regarding their project. On Friday (May 21) evening, MadGic resurfaced with yet another single “Raddest Dad” that hosts a cover art that shows Logic with his son.

Following the release of No Pressure back in July 2020, Logic fans were fairly certain that the rapper would make good on his declaration that he was putting an end to his Rap career. However, when Logic sat down for an interview in September 2020, he admitted that he and Madlib had been conversing and if there was anyone who could yank him out of retirement, it would have to be the celebrated producer.

Stream “Raddest Dad” and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

Never back down, here to get down
Skinny motherf*cker but I’m ripped now
Get a grip now, knocking sh*t down
Think I got another hip-hop hit now
Everybody wanna throw a fit now
Not a single hook in a album
I came back to spit now
When you build it from the ground up people wanna rip down
F*ck you, sit down

Kodak Black Trashes The Rap Game: “This Peekaboo Ass Sh*t”

He’s not happy about those first-week numbers and Kodak Black partially blames the Rap game. On May 14, Kodak released his Haitian Boy Kodak project, and even with a co-sign from Drake, the Florida rapper didn’t top the charts as he expected. On Friday (May 21), Kodak shared a few thoughts over on his Instagram page and made some disparaging remarks about the music that is coming out of Rap culture at the moment.

“#HaitianBoyKodak Is ‘Expected’ To Sale 22k First Week ? Ok Great,” wrote the rapper. “Me Dropping The Same Day As Nicki And J.cole Is not an excuse for me Kuz I’m as Big an Artist as Them !”

“I Use To Sell 100K First Week Etc. But along the way the game Turnt gay !!!” he continued. “Even tho I get to singing to b*tches I signed up fa Gangsta Rap , Not This peekaboo ass sh*t where good hearted , Real individuals are forced to hide their support for you in public … I can’t Say It’s Blackballing but it’s alotta D*cksuckin & Ass Kissin Goin On [sideways laughing emojis].”

Kodak wasn’t too upset because he added that he feels “great” and said, “I’m Still a Multimillionaire Wit Lots Of records Sold & that’s without support from Spotify & Major Platforms LOL Not Even Shaderoom … [middle finger emoji].” He expressed love for the fans who have stuck by him and promised to “Get Way Mo #Kutthroat” in the future.

Some people have stated that Kodak may have struggled because of his repeated support of former President Donald Trump and the recent guilty plea regarding his sexual assault case. Check out his message in full below and let us know what you thought of Haitian Boy Kodak.

Issa Rae Checks Hater Who Says She’s Not Attractive: “We Look The Same”

Every day, tens of millions of people take to social media to share their opinions on just about anything. Whether they’re on microblogging platforms like Twitter with limited characters or penning think pieces about the latest trends in pop culture, we’re met with a barrage of opinions the moment we open any social media app or internet browser.

A woman took to Twitter today (May 21) to share a few random, negative thoughts about Issa Rae, and while many messages like these are often overlooked or ignored by celebrities, the media mogul made time to address her critic.

“Issa Rae is not an attractive woman to me and that is okay,” the woman tweeted. “Every black person aint attractive. Also, she will never know who I am and even if she is it doesn’t matter because I don’t want to f*ck her or be hired by her.” Rae was made aware of the comments and replied by posting the woman’s profile photo and a caption: “Okay, but we look the same? The f*ck?”

Soon, fans began sharing side-by-side pictures of the two women noting that they share many characteristics. “Not my cousins publicly disrespecting me,” Rae joked. The woman returned to say that they don’t look alike at all, except that she admitted they do have similar features. Check it all out below.

Lamar Odom Denies Karlie Redd Romance Rumors: “Happily Single”

Ever since Lamar Odom went public with his relationship with Khloé Kardashian, his love life has been in the spotlight. The former NBA star reemerged from the ashes of his health scare and overdose controversy with a new, more sober outlook on life, and by his side was his new leading lady, Sabrina Parr. The pair reportedly had a reality television show in the works and soon, they were announcing their engagement, but their on-again-off-again romance turned sour and came to a bitter end.

When photos and videos of Odom and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Karlie Redd began to circulate, the rumor mill lit up with gossip. Odom hadn’t confirmed or denied the alleged romance, but he’s now sharing he’s single and ready to mingle.

During his virtual visit to The Wendy Williams Show, Odom was hit with questions about his relationship with Karlie Redd. “We’re friends,” said Odom. “Really good friends, getting to know each other.” Williams asked him if they “sleep together” and was met with a dramatic pause before Odom chuckled. “As friends. No.” Wendy noted that Odom is no longer lying, but he clarified and said that the ketamine treatments he’s taking to help with his sobriety have made it harder for him to lie.

Williams wasn’t quite finished putting the pressure on Odom about Karlie and asked if she was in the room or had a key to his home. Both answers were met with a “no” answer. “I’m still single, Wendy,” said Odom. “Happily single. I’m in Atlanta.” Still, people speculate that Odom will make an appearance or two on Love & Hip Hop sometime soon.

Check out his interview with Wendy Williams below.

Latto Reveals Recent “Health Scare” That Landed Her In The Emergency Room

She formally introduced her new name change today (May 21) with the release of her single “The Biggest,” and she’s addressing a few critics on social media. At the top of the morning, the artist formerly known as Mulatto returned with a new track where she speaks on the criticism she received regarding her Rap moniker. “The Biggest” came without much promotion and Latto took to Twitter to share why she was unable to support the single the way she would have liked to.

“Y’all don’t even know I been in the ER & wasn’t able to promote ‘The Biggest’ myself but I’m feeling better & seeing all the support feels amazing [red heart emoji][slot machine emoji],” the rapper tweeted.

“Thanks for hearing me out and accepting my apology!” she added. A Twitter user responded to Latto’s message by suggesting that her doctor’s visit was really a “cover up” for getting plastic surgery. Latto clapped back quickly and revealed that she wasn’t hiding cosmetic work.

“I actually was in the ER for a serious health scare,” she replied without giving any details. “I’m open about my surgeries this had nothing to do w that.” Soon, her fans came to her defense. Check out the tweets below as well as her new track, “The Biggest.”

Wendy Williams’s Ex Kevin Hunter Blasts Charlamagne Tha God

Kwame Brown isn’t the only person upset with Charlamagne Tha God. Earlier this week, Brown made headlines due to a verbal spat he was engaged in with Stephen Smith and Matt Barnes. The Breakfast Club later weighed in on the controversy, and a few notable remarks were made by Charlamagne Tha God. The radio host brought up Brown’s family and their sordid history that allegedly involves domestic abuse and murder.

Brown returned with a message for Charlamagne, asking him why he found it necessary to bring up family members that he has no relationship with in order to paint him in a certain light. The former NBA player brought up the previous rape case against Charlamagne and vowed to find the woman who was reportedly involved, and Wendy Williams’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter jumped in with a few words of his own.
