Ja Morant Reacts To 3 Jazz Fans Being Banned For Harassing His Parents At Game

What in the world is going on with NBA fans lately? They’re known to be fiercely tied to the teams they support, but this week, there have been three separate incidents that have given league officials pause. We previously reported on two: Russell Westbrook getting popcorn dumped on him from the stands as he was being ushered off of the court with an injured ankle, and a fan spitting on Trae Young. It has also been reported that several Utah Jazz fans have been banned from the league following what ESPN dubbed a “verbal altercation” following Wednesday’s (May 26) game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

According to reports, Grizzlies guard Ja Morant’s parents were the targets of three Jazz fans who made offensive and vulgar remarks toward them during the game. It was also noted that the three fans weren’t in a single party; Morant’s relatives dealt with three separate incidents.

“I know heckling,” Tee Morant told ESPN. “We were doing that the whole game. But that’s different than heckling. That’s straight-up disrespectful. That was too far out of line. You don’t say nothing like that heckling. That’s beyond heckling.” He explained that one person made sexually explicit comments to his wife, and while Tee was confronting the man, the fan was escorted out by security.

Another person said to the NBA dad, “I’ll put a nickel in your back and watch you dance, boy.” Surrounding Jazz fans confronted the man and he, too, was shown the exit. A third fan targeted Jamie Morant, Ja Morant’s mother, and reportedly said to her, “Shut the f*ck up, b*tch.” The Utah Jazz issued a statement regarding the incidents, condemning the behavior of those three individuals.

“The Utah Jazz have zero tolerance for offensive or disruptive behavior,” they stated. “An incident occurred last night involving a verbal altercation during Game 2. Arena security staff intervened, and the investigation resulted in the removal and banning of three Jazz fans indefinitely. We apologize to all who were impacted by this unfortunate incident and condemn unacceptable fan behavior.”

Tyson Beckford Claims Kanye West Tried To Flex On Him Over Kim Kardashian

It was back in 2018 when an unlikely social media spat occurred between Tyson Beckford and Kim Kardashian. According to Beckford, Kardashian’s people contacted him because she wanted him to train her. When he was given a reference photo of Kim’s goal, Beckford was critical of her plastic surgery. During their back and forth, Beckford said that Kardashian insinuated that he was gay and that’s where things took a turn.

“It didn’t need to go that far,” he said of the feud to Sharon Carpenter. She took it there, but before I could even say anything, the gay community stepped up and was like, ‘Oh no girlfriend, you’re not gonna mess with one of our ambassadors who looks out for us and [is] always a guardian for us.'”

“And then, it was so weird that she called me gay because I was like, ‘Uh, sweetheart. You must’ve forgot, you know, I ain’t that way’… She said something like, ‘Sis, this not for you.’ And I was like, ‘My sister in the room?’ I was like, ‘Honey, I ain’t gay.'” He added, “I’m pretty, but I’m not gay. But I do have such utmost respect for the gay community.”

He also confirmed that he had a brief rendevous with the reality star. “Yeah, I think we dated for a weekend,” he recalled. “It was for a weekend. Her mom even invited me over to the house… They invited me to the house for dinner and stuff like that, but some people forget. In the end of all of this, Sharon, I got no beef.” He also shared that following it all, he attended Ralph Lauren’s birthday party and saw Kanye West.

“I was standing in the middle of Oprah Winfrey and Hillary Clinton. He was on the other side of the table, and when I tried to make eye contact with him, he wouldn’t look at me,” said Beckford. When he went to the restroom, Beckford accuses West of sending in a member of his entourage after him. The model claims he told the man, “I suggest you get out of this bathroom before I wipe you all over the wall.”

The Weeknd Continues To Tease His New Era With A Cryptic Tweet

After cleaning up with a whopping ten wins at the Billboard Music Awards last Sunday — you hear that, Grammys? — The Weeknd is doubling down on his promise that new era is coming. Though the R&B superstar didn’t even get to tour behind his most successful album yet, due to the blight that was COVID-19 on 2020 live events, he’s already unveiling a new concept anyway. After teasing the new era as “The Dawn” in one of his many acceptance speeches at the BBMAs, Abel hopped on Twitter this afternoon to double down on his promise.

“Ladies and gentleman, the…” he wrote, a cryptic teaser that had fans quickly filling in the blank: “Dawn is coming.”

Of course, it’s also a reference to a now-beloved SNL meme, when Daniel Craig introduced the star on the show. So do with it what you will!

Tesfaye’s After Hours era was a dark one punctuated by his constant red suit and facial injuries and bandages, a visual shtick that kept fans guessing as to how he’d show up to public events. If the “Save Your Tears” performance at the Billboard Music Awards was any indication, that visual is now down. His crips black suit with a long trench was the new look, and even if Ariana didn’t join him for the BBMAs performance, her appearance at his iHeartRadio Music Awards for their new remix was another indication that the pair might have more new music in the works. This was Ari’s first appearance after her secret at-home wedding, so it’s a big deal that she made it out on that stage.

Whether The Dawn era includes Ari or not, it’s definitely coming soon. And new music from The Weeknd is the perfect way to head back into festival season.

Drake Teases Fans About “Certified Lover Boy” With Help From Son Adonis

It has certainly been a busy season for Drake and he hasn’t even begun rolling out Certified Lover Boy yet. The rapper’s fans have been on edge awaiting more information about the project that is slated to top the charts, but Drizzy is taking his time preparing an epic moment. With summer months upon us, there has been a playful call for artists to drop the albums as soon as possible because Drake season has arrived before CLB‘s release has officially been announced.

We recently saw Drake receive major recognition as he was crowned Art istof the Decade at the Billboard Music Awards, and viewers will remember that little Adonis Graham made his big debut by his daddy’s side.

Drake has become much more open about sharing his “proud dad” moments online, albeit still careful, and on Friday (May 28), the superstar returned to Instagram to show off his growing boy. In the photo, Adonis is seen holding up his masterpiece drawing on a whiteboard and Drake teased that this is why there hasn’t yet been a Certified Lover Boy tracklist.

“They keep asking for a track list…can’t seem to get one off [crying laughing emoji],” the rapper penned in the caption. We’ll have to wait and see if Adonis follows in his father’s footsteps and makes an appearance on the record. Check out the post below.

Boosie Badazz Responds To Yung Bleu Saying He’s “Not Technically Signed” To Him

This all may boil down to a bit of miscommunication, but Boosie Badazz is setting the record straight. Yung Bleu is a young star on the rise who has multiple deals in his pocket, including a contract with Boosie’s label, Badazz Music Syndicate. However, last year when Bleu sat down with VladTV, he suggested that things weren’t necessarily what they seemed.

“My situation, it’s more difficult than contracts,” Bleu previously said. “It’s really more like, it’s not really contracts. It’s like, loyalty… I’m not technically signed to Boosie. I’m just singed to him like, just because like, we just tied in. He let me sign my other deal, he let me go to sign my new deal, I just let him keep what was in the contract.”

In a recent follow-up, Boosie was told of Bleu’s remarks. “Nah, bruh, I don’t really know what Bleu is talkin’ ’bout,” said Boosie. “He owe me three-album right now. I’m waiting on him to turn the first one in. Turn this one in and he probably was sayin’ that because, I let him do him. I don’t hold him down. Stuff I let Bleu do a CEO don’t let go, but he’s a megastar. Sometimes you gotta let megastars do what they do, ’cause they still gon’ bring the bag in. I been believing in him. I been believing in him since day one.”

“It’s paying off right now,” Boosie continued. “He finna drop the album and it’s just, sky’s the limit.” He added that Yung Bleu has been in Los Angeles working with hitmakers as he crafts his record and fans should be excited to hear what he’s cooked up. Additionally, Boosie praised Bleu’s hustler’s mentality, saying that the budding artist is “hungry,” setting him apart from many of his cohorts.

Meek Mill Thanks Milan Harris For Car, Gets Teased For “Panties” Tweet

We often hear about contentious relationships between exes who co-parent, but Meek Mill and Milan Harris are doing just fine. While they were together, the pair kept details of their relationship close to the chest, including Milan’s pregnancy, but after they decided to part ways, they’ve kept things cordial. Neither party has directly addressed the other in a negative light and if the two are to be believed, Milan even bought the rapper a new ride.

On Instagram, Meek took to his Stories to share a photo of a car with a big red bow on top. “Thank you BM @iammilanroug,” Meek wrote over the images.

On her page, Milan reshared the post and added, “You’re welcome BD.” Then, Meek stirred things up on Twitter when he wrote, “I need vibrating panties with the remote lol they on Amazon? Lol.” Some people began speculating whether or not Meek and Milan have reunited, but even if they did, it doesn’t seem that they would alert the masses. Regardless, timelines lit up with jokes pointed toward the rapper.

After catching a few hits over his tweet, Meek brushed it all off with a series of crying laughing emojis. Check it all out below.

Beyonce And Jay-Z Probably Commissioned This $28 Million Rolls Royce With Champagne Refrigerators

Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed that Rolls Royce’s latest insanely expensive car was commissioned for Mr. and Mrs. Carter — aka Beyonce and Jay-Z — all signs point to the Carters. Partnering with the custom builder Coachbuild, the new Rolls Royce Boat Tail reportedly retails for around $28 million, making it one of the most expensive cars on the market.

According to the Rolls Royce website detailing the car’s custom features: “A double refrigerator houses the clients’ favorite vintages of Armand de Brignac champagne. Bottles can be rapidly cooled to precisely six degrees — the optimum serving temperature of the preferred vintage.” Of course, Jay-Z only recently sold his fifty percent stake in Armand de Brignac, back in February, to Moët Hennessy.

Other features of the car’s back deck include a parasol and picnic set, alongside the double refrigerators, and gossip sites like Page Six point to the Boat Tail’s blue color as another sign that the commissioners were Bey and Jay. I mean, considering they love the color so much that it’s their daughters name, it’s a pretty solid bet. The other fascinating bespoke feature in the car? A pair of Bovet 1822 timepieces that are two-sided, one for the lady and for a gentleman, which can be used in the car as clocks or worn. Check out more details of the rather magnificent car here.

Pretty Ricky’s Baby Blue Warns Against PPP Loans: “Keep Your Freedom”

Earlier this month, we reported on the case that was building against Pretty Ricky singer Baby Blue. According to reports, Blue is scheduled to plead guilty in the COVID-19 PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loan case where he’s accused of defrauding the government by using the funds for personal purchases. For the first time, Baby Bule is addressing the accusations against him and it sounds as if he’s suggesting he didn’t intentionally set out to swindle the government.

“I’m still going thru a case and was advised by my lawyers not to talk about the case but I did want to give my friends, family, followers and fans a few words of advice in hopes of saving someone from making a bad decision knowingly or unknowingly,” he wrote on Instagram.

“In my opinion, the best way to stay safe from everything going on surrounding these PPP Loans is just stay away from them,” he continued. “Don’t discuss them with anyone. Don’t give anyone your information. Don’t attempt to do it yourself. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. You can repair your credit and get a conventional loan from your local bank. Don’t get caught up in this PPP thing because it’s not worth it.”

In a text image, he added, “If anyone approaches you with an offer for a PPP Loan, simply tell them… NO THANKYOU! Don’t even have the conversation. It’s not worth it. Walk away and keep your freedom. Ignorance is not a legal defense and when you’re standing infront of a judge & jury, you won’t be able to say ‘I didn’t know’.”

He told readers not to risk it and if they already have a PPP Loan, just give back the money if it isn’t intended for payroll. Uncle Sam isn’t playing around about his ends. Read through Baby Blue’s message in full below.

Jillian Michaels Doubles Down On Lizzo Weight Criticisms: “Obesity Is Just Unhealthy”

She previously stood ten toes down on her criticisms of Lizzo’s weight, and Jillian Michaels remains unmoved. In case you missed it, this story goes all the way back to January 2020 when Michaels, a television personality and fitness trainer, spoke out about Lizzo being proud of her body. “Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren’t we celebrating her music? ‘Cause it isn’t going to be awesome if she gets diabetes,” said Michaels at the time.

She went on to say that she enjoys Lizzo’s music, but The Biggest Loser host reiterated that she won’t be a part of Lizzo’s body acceptance movement. Later, Lizzo clapped back with a few scathing words but Michaels remained unfazed, only replying that she was upset that her comments were seen as a jab toward the award-winning singer.

While speaking with Carlos Watson in an interview recently, Michaels addressed the controversy once again. “I’ve never once actually brought her up, she has been brought up to me. I would like to separate her from the issue, if at all possible, and I should have done that the first time I was asked,” Michaels said.

“The first time I was asked, I should have said, ‘Let’s separate an individual from a conversation about health,'” she added. “When you are an expert in a category, you have a responsibility to tell the truth, whether it makes you popular or not.” She also stated, “We need to celebrate individuals. We shouldn’t celebrate somebody because they’re big, we shouldn’t celebrate somebody because they’re small. We should celebrate somebody on the quality of their character.

“Obesity is just unhealthy. That’s it. And it has no merit on the quality of the human. They’re not connected.” Check out a portion of Jillian Michaels’s interview below.
