DMX’s Daughter Sonovah Junior, Or JRX, Performs At First Live Show

At his memorial, Sonovah Hillman Jr. took to the stage to perform her rendition of her father’s song, “Slippin’.” Little Sonovah, or JRX, has been grieving the loss of her father DMX along with the remainder of the late rapper’s extended family and friends circle, and it’s reported that she recently performed at her first live show.

On her YouTube page, Sonovah shared a video of the performance at a venue called the Wildcatter Saloon in Katy, Texas. A photo of Sonovah posing next to a vehicle painted in tribute to DMX was also posted on the child’s Instagram page.

“Thank you so much @wildcatter_saloon I won’t ever forget you giving me the opportunity,” the caption reads. “My first concert [tongue sticking out emoji] forever grateful [praying hands emoji] big thank you and shout out to Justin, John, Carmen, and Scott. When I make it big I’m coming back. I promise. #FOREVERDMX.”

DMX’s fans have taken to social media to support JRX’s music dreams as she follows in her father’s footsteps. It’s unclear what the future holds for little Sonovah in the music industry, but you can check out a portion of her debut live performance below.

Casanova Jokes About Receiving Stimulus Check: “Thank You But No Thank You”

With a federal case hanging over his head, Casanova isn’t going to let the government trip him up. In early December, the rapper surrendered himself over to the authorities after it was revealed that there was a warrant out for his arrest. Casanova is one of over a dozen people named in an indictment against alleged members of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation and later, he reportedly pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and firearms possession.

Casanova has regularly taken to his Twitter account to share a few thoughts about what he’s endured and the lack of support from those who he once called friends, but this time, he playfully addressed receiving a stimulus check from Uncle Sam.

“I don’t know what the government is trying to do but I heard they sent a stimulus check to my house, so I sent that sh*t right back [double exclamation mark emoji][crying laughing emoji],” Casanova tweeted. “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA… THANK YOU BUT NO THANK YOU. I DONT NEED YOUR MONEY AND I AIN’T ADDING NO CHARGES TO MY INDICTMENT [crying laughing emojis].”

With all of the trouble people have been getting into with those PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) loans and fraud accusations, Casanova isn’t taking any chances. Check out his tweet below.

Jeezy Calls Out Detroit Promoter: “Unorganized, Understaffed, & Chaos”

Promoters have been put on blast more than once in the last few days. Award-winning singer Kelly Price is an unproblematic celebrity, but she took to the internet to share her anger after she performed and a promoter didn’t pay her. Jeezy, too, took issue with an event he recently did after fans complained that he didn’t perform, however, the Rap mogul jumped online to clarify that he wasn’t hired to take to the stage.

“You know I have to send a PSA out to my city, my second home, Detroit,” said Jeezy in the clip. “So listen, this how it go. I came to the city to give away a thousand bikes to a thousand kids. That was my initiative and we did that and it was very successful, so shout out to everybody that came through.”

“Now, this day party, which was a day party and not a performance. A day party, contractually, in the contract it says, ‘day party.’ I just wanted to pull up and see my people real quick,” he continued. “Get in and get out. It was unorganized, understaffed, and chaos. I got there, nobody knew what to do. They wanted to put me in the skybox for me to watch the crowd from there. Absolutely not. I got my crew together, we walked down to the bleachers so we could see the people.”

Jeezy added that he wanted to make his way down to the field but the promoter couldn’t get him there. He told the public that it’s nothing but love between him and his supporters, but if they’re upset because he didn’t perform, they needed to contact the promoter to see if they could get a refund.

Akbar V Almost Gets Into Altercation With Alexis Skyy & Lira Galore

What led up to this confrontation is debatable, but various clips from a scene outside of a Philadelphia nightclub have gone viral. From what can be gathered, Akbar V, Alexis Skyy, and Lira Galore were all at the same club when there was some sort of disagreement. According to Alexis, she and Lira were booked to host an event and Akbar showed up. None of the women had any animosity with each other before they saw one another at the club, it seems, but Alexis said that Akbar began getting hostile without provocation.

In an Instagram Live session, Akbar claimed one of the women complained about Akbar looking at her funny. While this doesn’t seem like a reason to go to blows outside of a club, Alexis said on her Instagram Live that that’s exactly what happened.

“I have way to much going on positive in my life I , We have to pray for people like this,” Alexis wrote on her Instagram Story. “You called TC to come out to me and Lira hosting trying to prove a point in Philly … when that’s not your city. We never invited you once again & then you come starting drama for no reason you need some spiritual help & the only person that can help you is God.”

Akbar also recently had her Instagram deleted so Alexis added, “Be blessed Akbar someone help her get her IG back.” Meanwhile, Akbar tweeted that neither Lira nor Alexis will be safe in Atlanta, but Lira wasn’t fazed. “ATLANTA my second home,” Lira wrote on her Story. “AND I BE OUTSIDE. Ima TIP TOE WHEREVER I PLEASE . A b*tch can’t EVER TELL ME WHERE I CAN’T GO [crying laughing emojis] B*tch PLZ. Ion think y’all know how tf I get DOWN.”

Akbar has received backlash for the altercation as people accused her of bullying the two women. Check out the posts, explanations from all sides, and various angles of the altercation.
