When asked about the significance of including Pop Smoke on the album, Quavo answered, “That was important, know what I’m saying. I had a relationship with Pop Smoke, we had a relationship with Pop Smoke, and it was just, important. We had so many records, me and him was bout to make an album. So I just felt like I had to put Pop on there.”

He continued, “Rest in Peace to my dawg Pop, we just made so much good music. Us on a, New York drill beat is just like, magic.”

As you know, Pop Smoke was slain in Los Angeles after thieves stormed into his rented mansion, taking off with the rapper’s jewelry and leaving him with a fatal gunshot wound.

While we may never get to hear what a Pop Smoke x Quavo record would sound like, “Light It Up” on Culture III is the closest we may get. Be sure to stream it if you haven’t already

Michael Jordan won his very first NBA championship in 1991 and when he lifted the Larry O’Brien trophy, he was wearing a pair of Air Jordan 6s. This shoe is one of the most iconic in the history of Jordan Brand and over the last few decades, it has received a plethora of incredible colorways. 2022 is supposed to see even more dope offerings make it to the market, and one of them is the “UNC” model which was teased just a little while ago.

In the photoshop rendering below, you can see that this “UNC” Jordan 6 has a white base all while powder blue and obsidian are found all the way throughout. Lil Gotit & Nav Tap Millie Go Lightly For “Collages”

The YSL camp, and their affiliates, have proven to be dominant forces in the rap game, as a collective and individuals. Lil GotIt, while certainly an affiliate, has been moving at his own pace as he establishes himself as a solo entity. The release of Top Chef GotIt was a culmination of these efforts. Though it does include appearances from Young Thug, Gunna, and Lil Keed, it seems that Nav has been building a strong bond with GotIt recently.

The campaign for the album included the single “Turnt & Burnt” with Nav but the two also connected on “Collages” ft Millie Go Lightly. AR & Dy team up for the spacey trap beat while the three rappers get braggadocious on each verse.

Migos “Culture 3” & Polo G “Hall Of Fame” First Week Sales Projections Are In

Friday was a busy day in the rap game. Fans have been waiting on two projects heavily over the months, Polo G’s Hall Of Fame and Migos Culture III. Of course, the latter has been a topic of conversation since the release of Culture II in 2018 with fans hoping that they’ll return to form on their next project. More importantly, both Migos and Polo G delivered bodies of work that will produce several anthems for the summer.

The questions remains: who is coming out on top on the Billboard 200 this week? Well, it looks like it might very well be Polo G. The young rapper’s latest project, Hall Of Fame is expected to do astronomical numbers in its first week. Polo’s project is on pace to move anywhere between 165K-175K. Out of those sales, 4K to 7K of those will be from pure sales.

Meanwhile, Migos are still on pace to do six figures. Culture III is expected to move 125K-135K in its first week with 5K-8K deriving from pure sales. Migos’ last album, Culture II did 199K in its first week.

These predictions will give Polo G and Migos the number one and two spot on the Billboard 200, respectively.

Both albums have been steady rotation on our end. Which album are you bumping more? Culture III or Hall Of Fame? Let us know in the comment section.

Polo G’s Mom Surprises Him With Racks At His Album Release Party

Polo G recently unleashed his third studio album Hall of Fame. Complete with features from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Roddy Ricch, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Rod Wave, and more, its only right for an equally iconic album to have an equally iconic release party. Following the party, his mother took to Instagram Live to reveal nearly 20 officers had pulled over the rapper and arrested him

He was booked on five different charges, and both his sister and girlfriend were also detained. Before things went left, however, the Chicago rapper’s release party was a star-studded event. Of the iconic activities that took place, among the most captivating was when his mother surprised her son with racks of cash.

Gripping a yellow Fendi shopping bag, the momager began her speech, “I am blessed, that you chose me, your mother to be your manager…so I wanna show you a little appreciation. You always kept it 100 with me.”

“So she gon’ keep it 100 with you,” finished someone else. He then opened the Fendi bookbag filled with wads of cash, mouth agape as he observed the money.

The crowd cheered as they watched him take out the cash. “Aye, close your mouth,” someone off-camera reminded the “For the Love of New York” artist.

As mentioned before, Polo’s celebration ended in tragedy when Miami PD booked him on five different charges including battery against a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, and criminal mischief. Records indicate he’s currently being held on a $19,500 bond.

“The Miami Police Department is aware of the incident involving Mr. Taurus Bartlett, also known as Polo G,  and another male juvenile. We will provide updates as they become available,” police tweeted following the flood of backlash they received on social media for the arrest.

Of course, we’ll keep you updated on subsequent developments in the case.

Off-Duty Employee Attempts To Hijack Delta Flight

Delta Airlines is not a favorite among frequent flyers, as evidenced by recent claims of racial profiling and racist behavior. Still, their reputation is continuing to get worse. A Twitter video posted by a witness who was on the flight shows an off-duty airport employee fighting with flight attendants and fellow passengers before being knocked to the ground. The man, identified by ABC-7 as 34-year-old Jamar Duncan, is a Delta employee but wasn’t on duty at the time. Other passengers claim to have heard Duncan make “terroristic threats,” like calls to “take down the plane.”

The plane, which was headed from LAX to Atlanta, had to divert to Oklahoma because of the scuffle. No passengers were injured, but two flight attendants and an off-duty pilot were attacked. In the video, you can see passengers rallying to the aid of the flight attendants, filing down the aisle where they eventually restrain Duncan.

The woman who posted the video then described the situation. “[Duncan] made an announcement that we needed to be close to our oxygen masks & proceeded to try & open the door. They then called all the “strong men” to the front of the plane to restrain him. We ended up landing in OKC as it was the closest airport to us,” she said. She then clarified that he was attempting to open the door to the outside, not the cabin.

Delta issued a statement in response to the incident, writing, “Thanks to the crew and passengers of Delta Flight 1730 (LAX to ATL) who assisted in detaining an unruly passenger as the flight diverted to Oklahoma City (OKC). The company added that they “apologize to our customers for the delay and any additional inconvenience this caused.”

The statement does not seem to go far enough, however, last week a similar incident happened on a Delta flight where a passenger was able to break through the cabin door.

Do you think security needs to be stepped up on planes? Check out the Twitter video below.

Danny Green’s Injury Status Updated After Game 3 Win Vs. Hawks

Danny Green has been a solid pickup for the Philadelphia 76ers this season and while some fans might get frustrated with him at times, there is no doubt that he brings some championship experience to this 76ers roster. The team is currently in the midst of a playoff run, and last night, they defeated the Atlanta Hawks to take a 2-1 series lead. It was a huge win for the team although it came at a cost as Green had to leave the game with a strain in his right calf.

After some tests and an evaluation, it was determined that Green will now have to miss two to three weeks, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. This means that Green is likely out for the rest of this series, and the Eastern Conference Finals as well, should the 76ers make it that far.

This loss is a significant one in terms of the team’s depth, although Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons seem poised to step up. The 76ers have a ton of players making big contributions and we’re sure they will be ready to go come Game 4.

Keep it locked to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates from the basketball world.
