Diplo Sued By Woman Who Says He Forced Her To Perform Oral Sex: Report

Days ago, we reported on the lawsuit filed against Diplo by one of his ex-flings, Shelly Auguste, but that wasn’t the end of his legal trouble. The international DJ and mega-producer is facing another lawsuit, this time from a woman who has accused him of forcing her to perform oral sex on him. It all reportedly went down at an afterparty following one of his events in Las Vegas back in 2019 and TMZ detailed the allegations.

According to the outlet, the woman claimed that she attended Diplo’s party with friends and when they got there, she was “already intoxicated from drinking at the show.” The woman alleges that Diplo supplied them with “more weed and alcohol” and admitted that she and her friends accepted.

As the story goes, Diplo allegedly kicked everyone out via his security, but when the woman’s male friend refused to leave without her, he was allegedly punched in the face. The woman further stated that Diplo wouldn’t allow her to “leave until she performed sex acts on him” and once she realized she couldn’t get out, she alleged complied against her will.

The incident was reportedly recorded by Diplo “without her consent” and she alleges that she was in “fear for her safety” throughout the encounter. However, Bryan Freedman, Diplo’s attorney, spoke out on behalf of his client and called foul on the allegations. Freedman claims that this woman is friends with the ex-fling who also recently filed a suit of her own.

“This complaint is completely outrageous, wildly untrue and yet also entirely predictable, given that it simply repeats the exact same claim already made by the plaintiff’s friend Shelly Auguste, an individual who has been harassing Mr. Pentz and his family for more than a year and already has repeatedly violated the restraining order issued against her,” said Freedman.

“We have irrefutable evidence that this is a completely meritless claim and we will be providing it to a court as quickly as we possibly can to put an end to this shakedown by Ms. Auguste and her accomplices once and for all.”

It is unclear what this woman is seeking in damages.

Ray Blk Enlists Kaash Paige For “MIA”

RAY BLK has been slowly preparing for the release of a new project all year long. While it’s been three years since she dropped, Empress, a slew of stellar guest appearances and loose singles kept fans on their toes  in anticipation of her follow-up album. Thankfully, that time is coming soon as she preps to drop off her debut album Access Denied. This week, she shared a new single off of the project with Kaash Paige titled, “M.I.A.” The latest single from RAY BLK comes after the release of “Dark Skinned” and “Games” ft. Giggs earlier this year.

“I’ve been looking forward to this moment of releasing my debut album since I was 13 in the studio with MNEK learning how to write songs and knew for certain I wanted to be a singer,” she said in a press release.

Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Victory Lap’ Tallies 100 Overall Weeks On The ‘Billboard’ Albums Chart

More than three years ago, Nipsey Hussle released his official debut album, Victory Lap, which arrived after years of critically acclaimed mixtapes including The Marathon Continues, Crenshaw, and Mailbox Money. The 16-track effort would become of the best hip-hop releases of that year and it later earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. Now it’s earned a new milestone: Its 100th overall week on the Billboard album chart.

It’s a feat few artists today have achieved, and it demonstrates the power Nipsey has continued to exude well after his untimely death. The album’s success started with its release, as it debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. It was later certified Platinum at the beginning of 2020.

The news comes after an announcement that revealed Nipsey would receive a posthumous star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame in 2022. Next year’s class of inductees also includes Ashanti, Black Eyed Peas, DJ Khaled, and late actress, producer, and writer Carrie Fisher. Nipsey’s star joins previous hip-hop inductees like Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, and 50 Cent.

Nipsey’s alleged killer, Eric Holder, still remains behind bars on a murder charge. Despite it being more than two years since the shooting, a trail for the murder has not begun.

It feels like D-Block Europe is just waiting on the right moment to really pop out. Though they haven’t left by any means, it’s become evident that there’s been a focus on solo endeavors. In fact, Young Adz recently made his way onto GRMDaily’s “Daily Duppy” series with a solo freestyle. Thankfully, even if they’re putting out music individually, they’ll always come back together as D Block Europe.

Last week, the rapper came back into the fold with a brand new single with some Home Alone inspiration. Young Adz and Dirtbike LB connect on “Kevin McCallister” featuring Lil Pino. Ice Cube Isn’t Interested In “Verzuz,” Explains How He Would Set Up Performances

We’ve watched some unforgettable moments take place on the Verzuz stage from some of our favorite Hip Hop and R&B artists, but not everyone is thrilled about the possibility of showing face. Fans never thought the day would come when Jeezy and Gucci Mane would collaborate and who would have thought that one day the Isley Brothers would share the stage with Earth, Wind, and Fire all these years later. As fans continue to prepare themselves for more epic moments to come, some are calling for Rap icons like Ice Cube to make an appearance, however, that isn’t something he is interested in.

Cube virtually visited The Breakfast Club and was asked if he would entertain doing Verzuz. “Not really. It’s a great idea, great concept, but it’s nothing that’s like, on my bucket list or wish list or nothing like that,” said the Rap mogul.

“It started off on an adversary tip and then it showed a lot of love in Verzuz so I like how it’s evolved because guys shouldn’t be really going up there putting catalog against catalog. That right there to me ain’t what it’s about.” Cube added that the focus should be about “showing love” for artists and he gave his take on how he would have done things.

“My version of Verzuz would have been, I pull somebody out there like Chuck D or Public Enemy or something, and I play all the songs I love from him and he play all the songs he love from me,” Cube suggested. “It’s a lovefest. But, it’s not something that I’m thinking about doing. If it comes about, who knows. I ain’t sayin’ yeah, I ain’t sayin’ no.”

Blu, Mickey Factz & Nottz Connect On “Stay Down”

Mickey Factz and Blu are among those who’ve remained fixtures in the underground rap scene over the past decade. Now, they’re joining forces alongside producer Nottz to deliver a brand new collaborative effort.

With the project expected to drop later this summer, Blu, Nottz, and Mickey Factz gave a taste of what to expect with “Stay Down.” Iman Omari handles hook duties on this record while Mickey and Blu take a trip down memory lane over Nottz’s soulful production.

Lamar Odom Argues With Karlie Redd, Brags About Being “Married To A Kardashian”

There was a time when Lamar Odom and Karlie Redd were suspected of being the new “it” Love & Hip Hop couple, but they’ve been warring on social media for days. This week, an interview with Karlie was released that showed the reality star stating that she was dating Odom. However, he jumped in a comment section to assert he’s single while Karlie co-signed, saying the interview was old and they were no longer entertaining a relationship.

Then, Karlie tweeted, “It would have never worked because He Needs Rehab Not A Relationship or A Situationship!” The Neighborhood Talk posted the tweet to their Instagram page and Karlie jumped in to say she just reposted a random quote. “Everything is not always about me,” she claimed.

However, Odom believed that she was taking a dig at his sobriety, so he answered accordingly. “Anything to stay relevant [wide eye emoji] I generally do not address this type of nonsense but cmon’,” wrote Odom. “Listen me being in recovery is no secret – I’ve made some amazing strides and I no longer do drugs #FACTS but I do need rehab. I need to be rehabilitated from my attraction to TOXIC, BITTER, UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS with women who need therapy more than they need me !”

He added that he’s not going to “go low” or “take jabs” because “at the end of the day I was married to a Kardashian so anything less than that is like going from sugar to sh*t.” Karlie later told Odom to “please stop with the foolishness” because her original tweet was “old.” She added, “I was on TV before I met you!… Pay me all the money you owe me!!!!”

Brittany Byrd Breaks Silence Following Alleged Lil Uzi Vert Assault

Last week, reports emerged of an altercation at the Dialog Cafe in Hollywood involving Lil Uzi Vert and his ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd. While footage of the incident hasn’t emerged, information of the incident slowly started to emerge. At first, it was said that Lil Uzi Vert hopped out of a Cadillac Escalade when he flashed a gun and confronted SAINt JHN who was having a business meeting with Byrd.

Details were later clarified that Uzi went to the cafe and made a whole scene at her table before allegedly striking his ex-girlfriend and pointing a gun into her stomach. Uzi’s remained quiet on the situation, as has SAINt JHN. However, Byrd took to Twitter where she broke her silence on the matter without naming names. “Don’t y’all say protect black women right? I’m a black woman,” she wrote. 

Byrd’s manager, Brianna, spoke out after reports emerged of the alleged assault. Brianna claimed that Uzi threatened Byrd with his firearm and repeatedly punched her. She added that Uzi and Byrd haven’t been in contact for months.

“Brittany has been trying to focus on her life and career,” Brianna said, adding that Uzi’s been stalking Byrd which is how he knew where she was. “Uzi has been stalking Brittany since they broke up. Uzi is toxic and mentally and physically abusive. He has been for years.”
