Burna Boy Responds After Bia Claims She Doesn’t Know What He Looks Like

Burna Boy is an international star. His rise to fame came alongside the obsession with afro-beats style music. Although he’s world-renowned, not everyone in the industry knows his face.

Bia, who is becoming a star in her own right, just dropped off the “Whole Lotta Money” remix with Nicki Minaj. The two artists did an Instagram live session together to promote the song recently, and when she was questioned about Burna Boy, she had a curious response.

Bia was asked about Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy and Wizkid, to which she said, “I don’t know what they all look like.” Fans thought she was sending hate, so she quickly changed responded further online, tweeting, “I said I don’t know what they all look like doesn’t mean I don’t know their music 🤗🧡🇳🇬 I didn’t mean to offend anyone 🙏🏾 #LOVE”

Burna Boy seemed to respond to the situation with a tweet of his own. “That babe wey nor know our face don dey my dms since 2018 o. 😂🤣 🤣,” wrote the artist.

“I’ve sold out every venue I’ve ever been booked for since 2018,” he continued. “Most of them 2 or three nights back to back. This next chapter of my Life as a performer is something I really look forward to. I’m in only ARENAS, STADIUMS and FESTIVALS worldwide. DREAMS come TRUE for REAL.”

Vince Staples Explained How The Music Industry ‘Monetizes People’s Struggles’

On Friday, Vince Staples ended the nearly three-year-long stretch that he went without releasing a full-length project to fans. The Long Beach native shared his official third album, Vince Staples, and it arrived following weeks of frequent headline-making comments and interviews from the rapper.

Vince continues that streak with a recent sit-down with The Independent where he shared his thoughts on the current landscape of the music industry and how some rapper use gang affiliation to boost their rise and appeal in hip-hop.

“This is a business where we monetize people’s struggles, pain, death and murder,” he said. “If you’re a kid from a situation, and you feel the only way that you will get out of the situation where there’s immense poverty or bad home life or low self-esteem is by doing this thing that everyone is selling, you’re going to try to sell that thing.”

He added, “We’ve seen people market and distribute death and destruction within our communities for decades; they do these things because it gets attention. What do we really expect when we give people millions of dollars to say they’re tough? They’re gonna say they’re tough. It’s common sense.”

The rapper also pointed out that rather than focus on the individuals doing good, the media instead choose to pay attention to those who fit a “bad boy” image.

“These people who do the wrong thing are always brought up [by the media], but no one who’s done the right things has been mentioned,” he said.

Vince Staples is out now via Blacksmith Recordings/Motown Records. Pre-order it here.

Juicy J Decides Not To Buy Luxury Watch, Invest In $2 Billion Energy Merger Instead

Juicy J has certainly blown a lot of money in his life; at least that’s the conclusion you would have to come to after listening to his music. But the talented rapper, producer, and mogul is making smart money moves as well. Juicy J hopped on Instagram to boast about an amazing project he has invested in.

The veteran entertainer appears to have put some money into Heliogen. The solar energy company will be merging with one of the few so-called blank-check companies led by women. Heliogen’s CEO is angel investor and entrepreneur Bill Gross.

Heliogen will be merging with SPAC Athena Technology Acquisition Corp. Cybersecurity executive and former U.S. Army officer Phyllis Newhouse and venture capitalist Isabelle Freidheim are the SPAC’s CEO and board chair, respectively. Former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is an advisor.

It looks like a good move for Juicy J, since the venture appears to be valued at $2 billion. “I was gonna buy a moissanite diamond watch but i decided to invest the money in a huge operation 💰,” he wrote as the caption for a post that highlights the investment. Heliogen utilizes reflectors that are positioned by artificial intelligence to reflect sunshine at a small receiver, generating extreme heat. That sunshine can be consolidated and processed to produce power when there is no sun.

Scarlett Johansson Has “No Plans” To Return As Black Widow: “I Feel Really Satisfied”

Nobody REALLY dies in the MCU (or in comics, in general). So, character deaths are only as real as the actors who play them allow them to be. For example, we all know that if Robert Downey Jr. wanted to be resurrected, they would probably do it. However, RDJ says he’s done with the MCU. And it appears that Scarlett Johansson is too.

Johansson said in an interview with Fatherly that she “has no plans to return as” Natasha Romanoff. “I feel really satisfied with this film,” she stated of Black Widow. “It feels like a great way to go out for this chapter of my Marvel identity.” However, there may still be a role for Johansson at Marvel. She could direct, produce, or even write something. “I would love to be able to continue to collaborate with Marvel in other ways because I think there’s just an incredible wealth of stories there,” she said. “Re-imagining this genre is something that I find very interesting.”

Kevin Feige also left the door open for Johansson in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Marvel is always about new beginnings and Scarlett Johansson is such an amazing partner for us,” he elaborated. “She was a producer on [Black Widow]. She was the one that brought us our amazing director, Cate Shortland. I am excited to continue working with her in any way possible if we’re so lucky,”

Kyle Kuzma Explains How He Predicted This Suns Finals Run

Kyle Kuzma is among the young stars in the NBA and as a result, he can see first-hand who some of the best up and coming teams in the league are. During his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Phoenix Suns have been mostly bad as they try to develop alongside their young core. Of course, that all changed this season when the team acquired Chris Paul and went all the way to the NBA Finals, where they are now up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Bucks.

In an episode of his brand new show Hanging With Kuz, Kuzma explained how he always knew the Suns were going to be good and that their chemistry was always apparent on the floor. Now, the team is putting it all together, and they look like a team destined to become champions.

“I saw them as a potential Finals team just off their chemistry,” Kuzma said. “Last year with us, we had unbelievable chemistry and everybody kind of jelled and knew their role and had fun doing it, had fun playing with each other. I noticed playing them, that same type of feel. Everybody was communicating, talking, having fun, smiling with each other. Usually, when you have a team connected like that, you win big.”

The Suns still need to win two more games before they close the series out, however, things are looking pretty good for the team especially with the Bucks faltering on their depth. Heading into next year, this Suns team is destined for even more greatness.

Trump Allegedly Charged Secret Service Over $10,000 For May Room Rentals

Donald Trump is no longer president, but he’s finding ways to make money off his political power. The former president still needs secret service, armed guards that protect presidents and former presidents alike. When Trump left the White House in January, he moved into his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach until May. Although it’s his own property, he charged the Secret Service $40,000 for their time living there protecting him.

In May, Trump and his Secret Service went to go stay in New Jersey for 18 days. He charged $10,200 to the Secret Service for their stay at his resort protecting him. Records indicate that since Trump left office in January, taxpayers have paid the former president’s businesses over $50,000 for rooms used by the Secret Service.

The Washington Post obtained a “hotel request” form that stated Secret Service agents were planning to stay in the New Jersey resort until at least July 1, which means that costs will continue to go up. “The service is more focused on the protective necessity, as opposed to, ‘How much is it going to cost after the fact?’ There’s nothing they can do” about the cost of the protection, explained Jonathan Wackrow, a veteran Secret Service agent. “It’s a question of not, ‘Can they do it?’ but ‘Should they be charging that much?’ ”

Tristan Thompson Gets Dragged After Trying To Flirting On Khloé Kardashian’s Photo

The internet really isn’t feeling Tristian Thompson. After news broke that he and Khloe Kardashian split once more due to his infidelity issues, fans of the model started to hound the athlete. He still can’t seem to leave her alone though. The Boston Celtics forward left a trio of heart emojis underneath a picture of Khloe on Instagram. To be fair, Khloe was looking great in the photo.

Lamar Odom Will Return To The Boxing Ring: Details

Lamar Odom shocked some of his fans a few months ago when he revealed that he would be going into the boxing world. His very first fight was against Aaron Carter and as many of you probably remember, it wasn’t much of a battle. Odom was way too big for Carter to handle and in the end, he won by knockout. Odom didn’t really get to show off the full extent of his skills, however, he certainly caught the eye of Damon Feldman who is the founder of Celebrity Boxing.

According to TMZ, Odom has signed a brand new deal with Celebrity Boxing that will see him compete in more fights throughout the foreseeable future. He even has a big match planned for October 10th, however, there is no news on who he is going to fight. We imagine it will be someone who is closer in size to him than Aaron Carter.

Between now and October 10th, Odom will have exactly three months to train for the fight and we’re sure he is eager to step back in the ring and prove himself. Despite the easy opponent, he did show some potential against Carter and it will be fun to see what he can do when challenged just a bit more.

With Celebrity Boxing becoming a huge enterprise, we’re sure that Odom will have some fascinating opponents lined up. With this in mind, keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates on Odom’s next match.

Paris Bryant Chases A Dime On “Demon Time”

Paris Bryant continues to lay down heat amidst a spirited breakout fire ignited by his single “Mad Mad.” Now, he’s back with another jump called “Demon Time.” The title references those late-night hours where explicit actions go down. Bryant released visuals for his new single as well.

The music video was directed by Llama, and it showcases Bryant’s personality. Many of the scenes are pretty typical for a rap music video, but Bryant’s energy and personality give it an added charm.

The instrumental for “Demon Time” is tough; it’s hard not to enjoy the bump of the bass and the colorful synths as they excitedly jumble along. “Demon Time” is a fun follow-up for Bryant and yet another example of his ability to make catchy tracks.

Quotable Lyrics
