Piers Morgan Is Voicing Support For The End Of Britney Spears’ Conservatorship: She ‘MUST Be Freed’

Following the recent FX on Hulu documentary episode, The New York Times Presents: “Framing Britney Spears,” the groundswell of support for the (hopeful) end of Britney’s conservatorship has only grown. It’s been a long thirteen years for Britney under her father’s financial thumb, and that followed a few years of public chaos, which I’m sure no one can forget. Her fans have long rallied for her “freedom,” given that Britney has vowed not to work again until she can make her own decisions again. This week, the 39-year-old singer gave testimony that was both heartbreaking and infuriating and included details about how her father controls every aspect of her life. That even allegedly includes a prohibition on removing her IUD device, which is a chilling revelation to behold and one that Planned Parentood has branded as “appalling.”

In the aftermath of Britney’s testimony, the public has rallied around her as well as the musical community, including ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, who previously faced backlash for revelations in the documentary about his behavior towards her regarding public perception and the press. Now, a surprising voice has arose to support Britney: the cantankerous Piers Morgan. He of course, generally abhors everyone (except the Queen), but even Piers can’t stomach what he’s seeing happen.

“Britney Spears is a legal slave,” Piers tweeted. “[W]ho can’t control her own money, career or even her womb and MUST be freed from this torment to finally live the life she wants.”

Piers also penned a lengthy Daily Mail column, in which he argues that Britney’s calls for freedom should be heeded:

We’ve been told for years via endless cruel briefings to the media that Britney’s so mentally unhinged that’s she totally incapable of thinking, speaking or acting for herself. That wasn’t the woman I heard yesterday. It was stunning to hear the brutal reality from Britney’s own mouth, in her own powerful, eloquent, often rapid-fire words. It was like she couldn’t wait to finally have her say, and who could blame her for the obvious frustration and anger?

The last time she appeared in front of Judge Penny, in 2019, Britney’s testimony was sealed… This time, it was made public so there could be no doubt or self-interested ‘spin’ about what she was asserting. ‘I have a lot to say,’ she began, ‘so bear with me. I don’t think I was heard on any level when I came to court last time.’ That’s the understatement of the year. There’s no doubt that Britney’s still a troubled woman, but it seems apparent that many of her current demons are now being driven by the way she’s been treated as a direct result of her conservatorship that she says has ‘enslaved’ her.

The entire column is worth a read, as Britney’s own words about feeling “traumatized” continue to reverberate, after she described her conservatorship as “abusive.” You can also read Britney’s testimony at NBC in transcript form.

Chris Paul’s Status For Game 3 Vs. The Clippers Revealed

Chris Paul is one of the greatest point guards of all time and with each new season, he continues to prove just how legendary he truly is. Unfortunately, Paul has yet to win a championship in his career and he’s also never even made it to the Finals. While he has played on some incredible teams in Houston and Los Angeles, it feels as though his best shot at a title is this season with the Phoenix Suns. The Suns are just two games away from the NBA Finals and with the Clippers shorthanded, the Suns have a great shot to finish this series off sooner rather than later.

Over the past two games, the Suns have been without Paul due to the fact that he was placed under COVID-19 protocols. Yesterday, it was revealed that Paul had been taken out of COVID protocols, and now, the Suns are listing him as “available” for tonight’s game. Simply put, there is a very good chance Paul will be in the lineup tonight.

While the Suns were great in Games 1 and 2, it was clear that they could have used their superstar point guard. With Paul coming back, the Clippers are going to find it very hard to come back, especially since Kawhi Leonard remains unavailable.

Needless to say, Game 3 is going to be a lot of fun, and it will be interesting to see how the Suns react with their leader back on the court.

Virgil Abloh and Off-White are set to have a big year when it comes to their efforts with Nike and Jordan Brand. For instance, Off-White has a 50-piece Nike Dunk Low pack coming out in August. The “Dear Summer” collection is easily the most ambitious thing Virgil Abloh has put together in quite some time and fans are extremely excited to get their hands on a colorway or two. Later in the year, Virgil will be dropping two new Air Jordan 2 Low colorways, including a white and red Chicago model, as well as a black and blue offering.

Both of these models can be found in the Instagram posts below courtesy of @zsneakerheadz. Virgil is good at bringing the best out of certain silhouettes, and he certainly pulls that off with the Air Jordan 2 Low.

As for the release date, it is now being reported that these will be dropping on September 23rd although a price has yet to be determined. Jordan Brand has yet to make the release date official, so keep it locked to HNHH as we will bring you all of the latest details. Coi Leray Reveals Her Favorite Foods & Recalls Her Memories Of Washington Heights

The latest class of XXL Freshman was recently revealed, and this year, the beloved Hip-Hop magazine has named Toosii, Pooh Shiesty, Rubi Rose, DDG, Blxst, Iann Dior, Morray, 42 Dugg, Lakeyah, Flo Milli, and Coi Leray as the most important artists to watch this year. In the wake of the polarizing freshman cover reveal, XXL has already started pumping out its artist interviews and other supplemental content.

After sharing videos of the newly crowned freshmen reading mean comments, XXL has dropped the latest installments in their ABC-themed interview series. As a clever way to show how quick and creative each of the artists is, the “ABCs” videos feature the XXL Freshmen going through the entire alphabet and saying whatever comes to their mind first when thinking about each letter. Coi Leray’s “ABCs” video has officially arrived, and it doesn’t disappoint.

The entertaining video finds Coi Leray flying through the alphabet with witty, and often times humorous, responses. Near the beginning of the video, she diminishes “Boys” for being crazy, and by the end of the video, she’s childishly joking about the suggestive phonetics of “Uranus.”

Throughout the video, however, there are plenty of instances in which the “No More Parties” rapper reveals some substantial information about herself. When coming up with responses to “A” and “O,” Coi shares that she absolutely loves apples and octopus, respectively. The XXL Freshman also reminisces on her memories of Washington Heights, which she fondly remembers for having “the best sour.”

Conway The Machine Celebrates “Scatter Brain” Milestone

“I never went platinum or gold,” raps Conway The Machine, on his excellent Don Cannon-produced single “Scatter Brain” with J.I.D and Ludacris. Though he seems unfazed by the development, many of his loyal fans have been eager to see the Griselda lyricist secure his first RIAA certification. Given that he’s easily one of the best emcees in the game right now, it seems only right that his music is eventually rewarded with a shiny new plaque.

Though the day has yet to come, perhaps “Scatter Brain” will prove to be Conway’s ticket to his first. It’s already performing quite well on YouTube, with the official video already having surpassed one million views. The milestone was enough to spark some words from The Machine, who took to Instagram to humbly thank his collaborators and supporters for making it happen.

“Thank you @doncannon @jidsv @ludacris for comin thru in the clutch for me!!” captions Machine, alongside the impressive statistic. “Most importantly thank you fans for all the continued support… more fire on the way!”

Now, it should be noted that Conway’s “Scatter Brain” is hardly his first video to crack the million-view mark. “Lemon” with Method Man and Griselda’s “Dr. Birds,” for example, have already seen such success and more. Still, it’s only been two weeks since the “Scatter Brain” video dropped, and given that the song has ample replay value, it wouldn’t be surprising to see its success continue to grow in the coming weeks.

Show Machine some support and give it a watch below. Keep an eye out for his next move, likely to be the release of his Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakesdue out later this summer.

Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” Drops This Fall: In-Hand Photos

One of the most iconic Jordan Brand shoes of all time is the Air Jordan 4 which was created by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. The sneaker debuted all the way back in 1989 and just a couple of years ago, Jumpman went all out while celebrating the shoe’s 30th anniversary. There were plenty of dope new colorways that made their way to the market and since that time, Jordan Brand has kept up the momentum. In 2021, we are going to see plenty of dope new Air Jordan 4s, including the “Red Thunder” model which has been teased over the past few months.

This new colorway is an homage to the original “Thunder” model except with this colorway, red replaces yellow. For the last few months, we have only been able to see renderings of this shoe although now, thanks to @pvasneakers and @zsneakerheadz, we have a fresh look at some in-hand photos of the shoe. As you can see, we get black nubuck throughout the upper while red highlights are placed near the laces and on the midsole.

The release date for this model has been pegged for October 2nd of this year, although the date is subject to change. With this in mind, keep it locked to HNHH as we will constantly be providing you with updates pertaining to this shoe.

Jorja Smith Is A Supportive Confidant In Her Melancholy ‘Home’ Video

Jorja Smith is a supportive confidant in the new video for “Home” from her lovelorn EP, Be Right Back. While the song’s lyrics debate leaving behind a picturesque but unfulfilling relationship for an uncertain future, the video portrays this dynamic visually, with Jorja playing the role of the nanny of a couple whose relationship has played itself out. As the wife contemplates telling her husband, lip-syncing the lyrics through a dinner party and a play date, Jorja looks on in supportive silence, letting her work through her tangled emotions.

“Home” is the fourth single from the EP after “Gone,” “Bussdown,” and “Addicted,” which arrived ahead of the rollout, and though all four songs convey different moods, they retain the through-line of pursuing personal freedom in lieu of the expectations of a stable relationship. Be Right Back was the British singer’s first project since 2018’s Lost & Found, her debut album containing the hit single “Blue Lights.”

Since then, Smith has released a number of non-album singles, including the Burna Boy-featuring “Be Honest,” as well as the wisftul “Come Over” with Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan. She also commented on the wave of 2020 anti-racist uprisings with “By Any Means.”

Meghan McCain Is Calling On The FBI To Free Britney Spears From Her Conservatorship: ‘This Is A Human Trafficking Issue’

In a passionate plea on Thursday morning, The View‘s Meghan McCain called on the FBI to essentially bust down doors and free Britney Spears from her conservatorship. McCain’s comments were in response to Spears’ explosive court testimony that she is forced to have an IUD in place to prevent pregnancy and is repeatedly prescribed questionable amounts of psychiatric medications to keep her compliant and working so her family can live off her financial empire.

During her remarks, McCain praised the #FreeBritney movement while accepting blame for being part of the media that has been “brutally unkind” and didn’t listen to Spears. “I actually believe this has reached the level where the FBI needs to be involved and extradite her from her home, away from these people at this very moment, because these are people that can continue the abuse in realtime,” McCain said.

After stating that Spears is “ostensibly a slave,” McCain went so far as to call the situation a human trafficking issue to bolster her claim that the FBI needs to get involved. Via Mediaite:

“I am sadly not surprised by this, but it’s much more extreme than I ever could have possibly imagined. I feel horrible for her,” McCain said. “I hope to God they get her out of this environment and this situation today. I think it is at that level, and if this were any other person not named Britney Spears, this is a human trafficking issue, and it should be treated as such.”

McCain’s thoughts were echoed by her co-hosts on The View including Sunny Hostin, who is an attorney and called Spears’ conservatorship “unprecedented” and “highly unusual.”
