Aaron Rodgers Changes Course On Packers Dilemma: Report

Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks to ever grace the NFL, however, in recent years, he has been having some issues with the Green Bay Packers front office. Things reached critical mass back in 2020 when the Packers selected Jordan Love with their first-round pick. Love is a quarterback and it was quite clear that Green Bay was beginning to prepare for Rodgers’ retirement. The Quarterback was not happy with this move and he let his feelings be known.

This past season, Rodgers won league MVP and he was nothing short of phenomenal. After a loss in the NFC Championship Game, Rodgers made it clear he wanted out of Green Bay and started to hold out from camp. With training camp officially beginning on Sunday, there were concerns about Rodgers’ future and whether or not the Packers would deal him.

Today, a shocking development took place in regards to Rodgers’ status with the team. According to Ian Rapaport of the NFL Network, Rodgers has told sources close to the situation that he is going to play for the Packers this season and that he won’t hold out for much longer.

The Packers are thrilled with the news and now, the team is optimistic that they will have their superstar quarterback in time for Week 1.

This conclusion is puzzling especially when you consider how Rodgers turned down a massive contract extension, only to come back to the team anyway. Rodgers is good at keeping his sentiments under wraps, so perhaps we will never really know his motivations behind this latest move.

Vanilla Ice Connects With Kodak Black & Forgiato Blow On “All The Way In”

It’s a collaboration that nobody saw coming. In fact, it’s hard to believe that anybody in their right mind might have anticipated that Vanilla Ice and Kodak Black would be coming together for a collaboration. And yet, that moment has come. The “Ice Ice Baby” rapper, largely forgotten by the mainstream hip-hop audience, has officially connected with Kodak and Forgiato Blow for an apparent comeback single “All The Way In.”

For the most part, “All The Way In” is a harmless summer track, with Kodak’s simplistic chorus setting the tone. “I’m going all the way in, I wanna party all night,” he sings. “I’m getting naughty baby, I’m having the time of my life.” Alas, he doesn’t actually contribute a verse, leaving such responsibilities for Ice and Forgiato Blow.

While it’s certainly not breaking any new ground, it’s possible that some will appreciate seeing a return from Vanilla Ice, an undeniable pop culture icon whose legacy largely centers around a single song. For others, well…it will be a much harder sell. Check out “All The Way In,” one of the strangest crossovers in recent memory, and sound off if you think this one will see steady rotation on your summer playlist.

Snoop Dogg Asks Martha Stewart About Her Approach To Thirst Traps

Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s relationship is one of the most unexpected pairings in Hollywood. They come from completely different worlds yet their mutual love and respect for the culinary arts and cannabis have formed a tight bond with one another. It began in 2008 when Snoop first appeared on Martha’s show and blossomed into a television show of their own where they host their celebrity friends for an eventful dinner.

Snoop and Martha recently reconnected to help launch BIC’s new EZ Reach lighter where they sat down for a round of Lit Questions. The minute-long segment kicks off with the two of them discussing their favorite garden herbs to cook with. “It was always something green. It was either broccoli or garlic. Does that qualify as a –,” said Snoop. Martha clarified that broccoli is not a herb but cannabis does qualify as one.

Maybe the oddest moment of the lightning round of questions was when Snoop Dogg asked Martha to drop her tips of the best thirst traps. Ultimately, she summed it up with three key points. “Try to look good morning, noon, and night,” said Martha.

And while Snoop Dogg leaped into asking Martha what her favorite thing to smoke is, turns out that it’s not cannabis. She explained that she’s a fan of smoking turkeys and chicken which Snoop can still get down with.

Original Michael Jordan “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 Sells For Obscene Amount

Michael Jordan is one of the greatest basketball players of all time and his shoes are just as iconic as he is. Throughout his entire career, he was dropping new sneakers with Nike, and during the 90s, he came through with a plethora of great models that are praised to this day. Perhaps his best shoe is the Air Jordan 11 which came out all the way back in 1996, and was a major component of the marketing behind “Space Jam.” The movie even had its own Air Jordan 11 colorway, which has been regarded as one of the best Jordan 11 offerings of all time.

Recently, an original version of the shoe, signed by Michael Jordan, was put up for auction via Sotheby’s. In the images below, you can see how the shoe has a yellowed-out outsole all while the upper is made with black patent leather. This sneaker also comes with a special wooden box that makes for a great collector’s item. Originally, it was set to sell for between $150K to $200K, and according to Sole Collector, the shoe met its goal.

This incredible item has officially sold for $176,400 which is right in the middle of the estimates. The lucky collector will certainly be putting these on display, and you can’t help but wonder just how much this person is making in order to afford these kinds of shoes. Lil Uzi Vert’s Planet Purchase Deemed “Bogus” By Experts

It’s becoming a pattern where Lil Uzi Vert does something absolutely outlandish in order to build further mystique surrounding his brand. Look no further than the recent instance in which he was said to have embedded a twenty-four million dollar diamond into his forehead, sparking a plethora of amusing Thanos-centric memes at his expense.

Now, it’s being said that the Eternal Atake rapper has set his sights on the galaxy at large. Grimes, accomplished musician and girlfriend of Elon Musk, recently declared that Lil Uzi Vert had purchased a planet, specifically WASP-127b, a gas-giant roughly four times the size of Jupiter.

Though many fans were content to simply roll with it, chalking it up to another one of Uzi’s signature antics, HipHopDX reports on a few notable skeptics — namely professors and experts on the field of space law — who spoke on Uzi’s alleged acquisition with Business Insider. Citing the words of Frans Von der Dunk, a professor of Space Law at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the purchase was deemed “bogus”: “If someone sold him a planet or he thinks he owns this planet in the normal sense of the word, it’s simply not true. It’s fraud.”

The report also notes that Ram Jakhu, the director of McGill’s Institute of Air and Space Law, pointed to the 1967 Outer Space Treaty; simply put, the treaty prevents countries and citizens from buying up space properties willy-nilly. “You can give them your money, but it doesn’t mean anything,” Jakhu explains. “There will always be companies trying to sell you things. If they can make money off you, why wouldn’t they? But, that doesn’t mean it’s legally recognized.”

Of course, the reality is that Lil Uzi Vert’s “purchase” of WASP-127b was a successful attention grabber, an on-brand maneuver for one of hip-hop’s most unconventional young stars. Though it might not be legally recognized, the number of fans confidently declaring that “Lil Uzi Vert bought a planet” will go a long way in steering the narrative. Still, it’s important to note that experts in the field are experts for a reason, and if two Space Law professors say it ain’t so, then it stands to reason that they’re correct.

What do you make of Lil Uzi Vert’s interplanetary ambitions?

Kanye West’s “DONDA” Listening Party Breaks Apple Music Record

Fans are still eagerly anticipating the release of a new album DONDA from Kanye West that he initially announced would arrive on Friday morning, following its debut at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The rapper’s latest body of work was apparently incomplete at the time of its premiere but many feel it’s Kanye’s most compelling body of work to come out in the past few years. It’s an odd rollout, even for Kanye West. He stood in the center of the arena with a mask on, without a word being said, and allowed the music to play front to back.

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where Kanye West has temporarily set up his living quarters to finish the album, was sold out for ‘Ye’s listening party. However, beyond the 40,000+ people that were physically present, millions more were hovered over their laptop or smartphone tuning in to hear what ‘Ye’s been cooking up this whole time. According to TMZ, the DONDA listening party shattered Apple Music’s Global Livestream record with upwards of 3.3M viewers. The record was previously held by Gucci Mane and Jeezy’s “Verzuz” last year who had 1.8M viewers on Apple Music in total.

Though DONDA isn’t on streaming services yet, fans received an update from Justin LaBoy who said Kanye West’s new album is set to drop on August 6th. Let’s hope that the release date holds up this time.

Someone Threw A ‘Busted Ass Adidas’ Shoe At DaBaby During His Rolling Loud Set

When DaBaby invited Tory Lanez onstage during his Rolling Loud set, it looks like fans didn’t only express their disapproval online. Apparently, someone in attendance was audacious enough to diss DaBaby in person in one of the most effective ways there is: By throwing a shoe at him during his set. Since the set was also being livestreamed, it was relatively easy to capture a clip of the unusual moment, as well as his nonplussed response.

During a lull between songs, the North Carolina rapper was commanding fans to light up their cell phones and hold them over their heads — the digital era equivalent to putting your lighters up — when he was suddenly forced to duck the flying footwear. After a timely dodge, he challenged, “Who the f*ck threw that busted ass Adidas?” Specificity is a cornerstone of comedy, so you’ve got to appreciate him for mentioning the brand name and making the moment especially amusing.

Admittedly, we don’t actually know why the shoe was sent spiraling his way but he’s spent a fair share of his career rubbing fans the wrong way, most recently during his Rolling Loud set itself. When the person inside his DaBaby mascot costume turned out to be Tory Lanez, who is under investigation for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, a rapper DaBaby has worked with multiple times, many fans were galled by the pettiness of the moment — especially as Tory’s appearance was sandwiched between “Cash Sh*t” and “Cry Baby,” two songs DaBaby recorded with Megan Thee Stallion. The two have mostly avoided each other since DaBaby co-signed the collaboration with Tory Lanez, which was supposedly shut down after the shooting.

Update: The culprit came forward a few hours later:

You can watch DaBaby’s reaction to the shoe shuriken above.

Tyler, The Creator Thinks “CMIYGL” Might Be His Best Album

Pusha-T thinks that with Call Me If You Get Lost, Tyler, The Creator released the best album of the year so far. While many hip-hop fans agree that the album is one of the best projects to have released since January, Tyler is looking even further. He claims that this has the potential to be his greatest album of all time, speaking his truth on Twitter this weekend.

Dissecting his discography, Tyler admitted that he thinks his new album outclassed all of his previous releases, saying, “CMIYGL might overall be my best one. not necessarily my favorite (yet) but this one was executed at a level i havent hit before.”

When a fan pointed out that “favorite” and “best” aren’t necessarily the same thing for Tyler, the rapper replied, “it doesnt equate and i think more people should understand that especially when they argue about music or whatever all day haha.”

The 30-year-old superstar also praised Pharrell on the fifteen-year anniversary of In My Mind, paying homage to the legend with a tweet.

Tyler has been having an outstanding year. On top of his musical releases, he directed a recent commercial for Converse, which stars Vince Staples, Tim Meadows, and more

Do you think Call Me If You Get Lost is Tyler’s best album to date? Is it your favorite?
