Skepta & Kid Cudi Reunite On “Peace Of Mind”

UK heavyweight Skepta has officially returned with another dose of new music, keeping it moving with the five-track EP All In. As it happens, the project finds Skeppy reuniting with Kid Cudi, with whom he previously worked on Man On The Moon III highlight “Show Out.” Now, the pair have once again joined forces for “Peace Of Mind,” featuring an additional contribution from Teezee.

Over a triumphant instrumental by Josh Faulkner and Skepta, all three parties exhibit solid chemistry. “Give me the loot, nothin’ to prove, I’m really a goon,” raps Skepta, somehow toeing the line between amusing and formidable. “I stay with the honey like Winnie the Pooh / We got the acid, we got the shrooms.” Teezee and Kid Cudi hold it down with a verse apiece, and the latter opts to lay back and let the music take over. It’s an interesting approach from Mr. Rager, and though it’s not the most technically dazzling contribution, it goes a long way in enhancing “Show Out’s” acid-and-shroom-tinged vibe.

Kanye West To Reportedly Host Another “DONDA” Listening At Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Last week, Kanye West got the world talking once again by previewing DONDA, his highly anticipated tenth studio album, in front of thousands of people at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Unfortunately, fans were left extremely disappointed when the live-streamed event concluded and DONDA wasn’t immediately available on streaming services at midnight.

The weekend came and went without any the arrival of DONDA, but sources close to Ye confirmed that the record had been pushed back to August 6. More surprisingly, it was also revealed that the Jesus Is King artist is also temporarily living and recording inside the stadium until the album is finally finished. Well, it looks like Kanye West may be preparing to leave the “DONDA Studio” soon because the legendary artist is already planning another massive listening party.

According to TMZ, Kanye West and his production team have already locked down August 5th at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for another DONDA listening event, yet their biggest challenge at the moment is reportedly figuring out how to one-up the previous listening event on Thursday, July 22.

The report also alleges that Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Live Nation are putting pressure on Ye and his production company to make the second DONDA event more of a spectacle because they fear that they won’t be able to sell nearly as many tickets for the encore listening event if it’s no different from the original one.

For Kanye West to have decided that he’s another DONDA listening event, it should make fans feel a little more confident in DONDA‘s new August 6th release date, but as we’ve seen with Ye in the past, no one can truly know what to expect. Still, stay tuned for more updates.

Kanye West Paying $1 Million A Day To Live Inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium: Report

Despite his private room looking pretty uncomfortable, it turns out that it’s still pretty expensive to rent out an entire stadium for yourself. Kanye West has been living inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta ever since his DONDA listening session last week and he’s looking set to extend his stay by another week as he puts the finishing touches on the album. Fans have had a lot to say about his bedroom, which appears to have been set up inside a storage closet or locker room, and now, the price he’s paying for his extended stay has seemingly been revealed.

Reporter Karyn Greer has heard word that Kanye is paying over $1 million every day to stay inside the stadium. Considering the fact that he’s a billionaire, that’s not the biggest expense for the music legend. However, with the way his room is looking, we think he may have been overcharged by a tad.

It’s unclear when Kanye plans to leave Mercedes-Benz Stadium but he has already announced a second event on August 5, inviting fans into his temporary home once again to play the album.

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium has embraced Kanye’s stay inside the building, temporarily changing its name on social media to “DONDA Studio.”

Are you excited for DONDA to finally arrive?
