Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” Puts Up Impressive Second Week Sales

In retrospect, there really wasn’t any chance that Kanye West would’ve been able to outsell Drake. There’s an argument to be made that Kanye dropped the better album but Drizzy remains a commercial giant in every sense, whether it’s selling music, clothes, or even candles. So, it seemed inevitable that he would top the chart in the first week of the release of Certified Lover Boy

After moving an astronomical 633K in its first week, it looks like Drake’s sixth studio album will remain at the top of the chart for a second week in a row. According to HitsDailyDouble, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy has sold another 233K in its second week which pushes the albums streaming numbers towards one billion across all DSPs.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Drake’s CLB can manage to beat the record he set with 2018’s Scorpion. His fifth studio album spent five consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release. However, it’ll be interesting to see whether Lil Nas X can manage to knock Drake off of the top spot with the release of his debut album, Montero.

Along with achieving another #1 album, Drake also made an incredible feat on the Billboard Hot 100 last week after debuting nine songs off of the album within the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. “Way 2 Sexy” ft. Future and Young Thug took the #1 spot, earning Drake’s WATTBA collaborator his first chart-topper.

Andre Iguodala Speaks On Max Kellerman’s Infamous Hot Take

A few years ago, Max Kellerman became an internet meme when he went on First Take and claimed that he would rather have Andre Iguodala take the last shot of a game as opposed to Steph Curry. While Curry is far and away the better shooter, his clutch time track record wasn’t all that great at the time, which is what led to Kellerman’s hot take. Over the years, Curry has been able to rectify this track record, ultimately making Kellerman’s infamous clip obsolete.

Now, Iguodala is back on the Warriors and during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, he got to give his opinion on what Kellerman said about him. As you can see in the clip below, Iguodala feels as though ESPN is just trying to get ratings, which is exactly what Kellerman did.

“You gotta understand how different shows work, entertainment works, like ESPN,” Iguodala said. “Disney has a large TV deal with the NBA, and they do our games. So there’s a lot of coverage around basketball because they want to draw in viewers. They want to draw attention. So you’re going to get somebody saying something crazy. There’s a discussion behind it and now lives on forever. You got a bunch of white kids that repeat ‘I want Iguodala!’ all the time. That’s just a cool thing about it. But when you break down real basketball. Nah, I wouldn’t do that.”

In Iguodala’s case, it was a positive hot take, so you really can’t get all that mad at it. After winning three titles in Oakland, Iguodala’s legacy is cemented and we’re sure he’s eager to be back with the team this season.

Adele & Rich Paul Seen Grabbing In-N-Out While Other Stars Attended The Met Gala

On Monday evening, many of the worlds biggest celebrities could be found at one of the most major events of the year – the Met Gala. This year welcomed hundreds of actors, athletes, rappers, politicians, and social media influencers.

While a lot of people would die for a chance to dress up in designer duds and walk the carpet, this year, several stars (most notably, Nicki Minaj) made it known that they were skipping out on attending.

Although it’s not clear if she was ever planning to appear, as she never has before, fans noticed that “Someone Like You” singer Adele was also not at the Met – instead, she and her boyfriend Rich Paul were spotted at In-N-Out grabbing burgers.

Someone on Twitter spotted the strawberry blonde beauty at the restaurant and snapped a photo to share. keeping it casual for her date night, The 33-year-old wore a black blazer, a vest top, and a black face mask to match.

It appears her mask helped her keep her anonymity, as the joint looks to be crowded, but no one is bothering the Grammy award-winning singer and her man.

As The Mirror points out, In-N-Out only has locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, and Utah, all of which are miles away from New York City. It’s unclear exactly what city Adele was in, but clearly the $35,000 per ticket Gala was not a part of her Monday night to do list.

Logan Paul Spotted Overseas With Broken Arm

Over the last few years, Logan Paul has been looking to make a go of it in the boxing world. At times, he has been ridiculed for his efforts especially when you consider how he has never officially won a fight. He drew against KSI the first time around and in the second fight, he lost in what was a controversial decision at the time. The joke is on all of us though as just a few months ago, he got to fight against the likes of Floyd Mayweather who is one of the greatest to ever do it.

Paul’s inclusion in the boxing world continues to be controversial although he doesn’t seem to care all that much. He is making millions of dollars, and to most people, that is all that really matters.

As for his future endeavors in the boxing world, it’s unlikely that Paul will be engaging in any fights, anytime soon. In a new image shared by TMZ and reposted by Keemstar of Drama Alert, Paul was spotted in Berlin sporting a cast on his right arm. It’s unknown how he broke his arm, although it’s clear that this injury will keep him from boxing for quite a while.

At this stage, no one knows whether or not Logan will step in the ring again, especially since it is his brother Jake who has proven to be a talented fighter. Either way, we’re sure there are some haters out there who will revel in this news.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Spotted In Harlem For A Late Night Date

After a busy week at the Met Gala and prepping for the upcoming release of her third Savage X Fenty show, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted having a late night on the town earlier this weekend.

Around 3 AM the musicians made their way to El Puerto Seafood & Fish Market in Harlem, where they ran into some fans.

The “Love On The Brain” singer took some time to sign autographs, pose for pictures, and she was even kind enough to hand a stranger in need a $20 bill.

Page Six reports that the couple looked happier than ever as they held hands strolling into the eatery. Photos from their date night have since surfaced online, and as per usual, fans can’t help but obsess over Riri’s outfit.

The 33 year old was seen wearing an oversized leather jacket, a white tank top underneath, as well as flared leather pants. on top of her head she wore a fuzzy black bucket hat and she accessorized her fit with black sunglasses, pearls, and a gold chain.

In coordination with his girlfriend, rocky also wore a pair of leather pants although the rest of his outfit says crossing guard chic. The 32-year-old wore a black hoodie with reflectors on the elbows.

On Monday, fans were more than happy to see the couple make their long awaited red carpet debut, although some were less than satisfied with Rihanna‘s Balenciaga serve. She’s usually known as one of the focal points of the Met, and seeing her in an oversized black coat just didn’t do it for some.

Her street style, however, remains undefeated (in the eyes of Twitter, anyway). Check out her and her beau’s date night looks below.

What’s Next For Max Kellerman?

About a month ago, rumors began to surface that seemed to signal the end of Max Kellerman’s run on ESPN‘s flagship debate show First Take. Kellerman’s addition to the show was a controversial one, especially when you consider who he replaced: Skip Bayless. For years, Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless provided some of the greatest entertainment we have ever seen when it comes to sports talk television. The two had unmatchable chemistry, despite personalities that were like oil and water. Bayless was the hot take king and Smith was so easily rattled by Skip that it always made for viral clips, some of which are still discussed to this day. With that said, the deck was always going to be stacked against Kellerman, which ultimately made these rumors all the more unsurprising.

That is not to say that Kellerman didn’t put up a good fight during his five years on the show. In fact, Kellerman was quite good as he had a nuanced view when it came to both sport and societal issues, his takes were unique enough to at least start a conversation. Of course, his most infamous was saying that Andre Iguodala was a better clutch shooter than Steph Curry. Nonetheless, given Kellerman’s background as a boxing reporter, Smith felt that he lacked credibility when it came to their main topics; basketball and football. At first, the two had to work through the kinks, but eventually, they were great together. Kellerman triggered Smith’s fight or flight response with some truly bizarre basketball analysis, and it made for a fun show, even if it lacked the charm of First Take’s original cast.

When the rumors of Kellerman’s impending dismissal first arose, there were reports that the ousting was completely orchestrated by Smith, who no longer enjoyed doing the show with Kellerman. It’s easy to see where this idea came from, simply by watching the last few month’s worth of First Take episodes. Smith’s facial expressions and acknowledgments towards Max appeared quite cold, and there was this sense that the two just didn’t want to work together anymore. Smith eventually confirmed these rumors to HOT 97 noting that the two just didn’t work well together anymore and that the show needed a change. Stephen A. also made sure to say he respects Kellerman, regardless

“The rumor’s accurate in terms of me wanting him off the show. Let’s get that out the way — yes, I did,” Stephen A. said. “We don’t have a bad relationship. I think he’s a real good guy, I appreciate what he did for the show, we were number one for five years, we stayed number one, and I appreciate that. It wasn’t really about asking him to be off the show, it was about the fact that I knew that we, together — as far as I was concerned — was not a great partnership anymore and that was something that needed to change.”

Just two weeks ago, Kellerman’s final day at First Take came and went and all he got was a phone call from Smith, who couldn’t be bothered to be in the studio for his co-hosts final day. From there, it was announced that Kellerman would have an ESPN Radio show with Keyshawn Johnson and Jay Williams called KJM. He would also get a mid-afternoon debate show called This Just In which is supposed to replace Highly Questionable; a show that just got canceled.

While Kellerman has a natural ability when it comes to the radio, many have noticed that his new show is just a carbon copy of Get Up, which can be watched in the morning. Kellerman and his guests are using the exact same set and the format is eerily similar. With the show debuting this week, some aren’t convinced that this is going to be the show that cements Kellerman’s place amongst the other large talents at the network. It also begs the question: what’s next for Max Kellerman, and what is he going to do to keep his spot at one of the biggest networks in the world?

Well, the answer lies in his bread and butter…boxing. Kellerman cut his teeth working the boxing beat and it’s what he is the best at. Whenever First Take spoke about boxing, Kellerman would outclass Smith in every single debate, and it’s clearly what he was most passionate about. With boxing on the rise, new fans are looking for boxing-related content that could move the needle and keep people engaged whenever there is a lull in big fights. Kellerman would be the perfect person to host such an endeavor, and ESPN is hurting themselves by not getting that type of show off the ground. As the Jake Pauls of the world take off, there needs to be some kind of debate/variety show that brings some boxing content to a mainstream audience. Even if the show was just once a week, it would be well worth the effort for ESPN to at least try it out, and allow Kellerman to showcase the true scope of his talents.

As for all of the other sports that Kellerman has covered over the last five years, he is still a solid voice, although he needs a format and a co-host that will help complement his voice. Max is someone who is confident in what he says, regardless of how outlandish it might be. In order for Kellerman to thrive, he needs a person to keep him in check and challenge him on his beliefs. Otherwise, he would simply fall into the Colin Cowherd trap, where the show is just three hours of non-stop monologuing.

The sports media world can be a vicious one, as talent is chewed up and spat out on a frequent basis. At times, ESPN has been its own worst enemy as it puts its talents in bad situations, only to dispose of them once they inevitably fail in their given circumstances. Hopefully, for Kellerman, he is able to escape this cycle and find a proper lane for himself.

Lil Uzi Vert Parties It Up On The Streets Of London

Lil Uzi Vert has been having the time of his life over the past few months. With new music on the horizon, Uzi has been touring the world and showing up in the most random places. For instance, Uzi was recently spotted at a Palestinian wedding where he was the life of the party as he did traditional dances all while putting a smile on everyone’s face.

Since that time, Uzi has done plenty of other side quests, including the Met Gala which took place on Monday. He got to spend some time with Erykah Badu and Jack Harlow, and overall he looked extremely happy to be in the mix.

Now, it appears as though Uzi has been spending some time in London, England, where he is being embraced by all of the locals. In the Instagram clip below, Uzi can be seen filming the streets all while dancing with some of the passersby. It was a fairly joyous occasion and you can tell that Uzi loves soaking up other cultures during his travels.

Moving forward, Uzi is expected to drop some new tracks and he is looking to get experimental after reverting back to his 2016 self on Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World 2. If you’re a fan of the artist, this is an exciting time, and perhaps his travels will even inspire his upcoming output.
