Drake Receives Custom Nike Air Force 1 From CLB Cover Artist
Drake came through with his brand new album Certified Lover Boyjust a couple of weeks ago and in that short period, he has sold a plethora of records. The album is a huge commercial success although this is something you would come to expect from an artist like Drake. In terms of the actual music and promotional materials, the album has been quite polarizing. The album cover has been especially controversial as it is simply just a bunch of emojis depicting pregnant women.
This artwork was created by Damien Hirst who is known for his provocative imagery. Now, however, Hirst is diving into the sneaker world as he recently came through with a custom pair of Nike Air force 1 Lows. These shoes were gifted to Drake as a celebratory gesture for the release of CLB.

In the images below, you can see how Hirst simply took an all-white pair and smeared various different paint colors throughout the upper. You can see yellow, orange, green, and even some blue here, all while the midsole features a heartfelt message to the Canadian artist. They are certainly unique, and if you’re a fan of them, well, you won’t be able to cop them as they are a one of one.
Drake’s new album continues to dominate the charts and things will probably stay that way over the course of the next year. In just a few weeks from now, we’re sure the album will go platinum which would be yet another accolade in Drake’s favor.
Lil Baby’s Jeweler Responds To Rapper’s Thinly Veiled Threats
Lil Baby has never shied away from stunting for the ‘Gram but unfortunately, it backfired on him the other day. The rapper was showing off what seemed to be an incredibly rare Patek Phillipe that he dropped $400K on. A jewelry page exposed the watch as being fake. Baby expressed his appreciation for the knowledge before putting his jeweler on blast. “@patekphillipe see this why I need to be on the list!!! After market jewelers going to make me do something I shouldn’t be doing,” Baby wrote on his IG story, along with a demon emoji.

“Now @rafaelloandco y’all Kno better then to sell ME of all people a FAKE Or anything that could be called a FAKE ! I stand on my name the same way y’all should ! Ain’t no such thing as a mistake when that money involved,” he wrote in a separate post before doubling down on his threatening message. “Don’t Fuccin Play Wit me Cause when I’m on that I’m on that.”
The rapper’s latest statement on the fake pieces was accompanied by a video of four new rings that he was seemingly gifted. Rafaello & Co. took to Instagram where they pushed back against the narrative that Lil Baby was spinning. “We do stand on our name just like he does that’s why today he got those four rings for free and his money back because we didn’t do our homework on the watch and we take full responsibility for that,” the message read on their Instagram Story. “But it didn’t happen intentionally and he knows that for a fact,” they continued while tagging Lil Baby.
In a separate post, they issued a lengthy apology taking accountability for the apparent mistake after claiming that they didn’t do their homework.
“I should have inspected the watch after purchasing it from the dealer. I take full responsibility for not doing my job properly. I personally would NEVER knowingly sell him or anyone else — anything that is not 100% authentic,” the post read, adding that they are doing an investigation into the matter. “I have known @lilbaby for a while and there is nothing fake about him especially his jewelry and watches.” They said they offered Baby a full refund, along with the four rings that he posed with on the ‘Gram.

They added, “Bottom line. We stand on our name just like he does, that’s why @lilbaby got 4 rings for FREE and his money back because we didn’t do our homework on the watch and we take full responsibility for that. But LET ME BE CLEAR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN INTENTIONALLY.”

“Eternals” Director Chloe Zhao Opens Up About How She Pitched Her Marvel Film
For those that love the rush of watching a movie in theatres for the first time, the last two years have been especially hard. In a recent interview with Harpers Bazaar, filmmakers Chloe Zhao and Dennis Villeneuve sat down to discuss the future of cinema and streaming in the pandemic age.
Villeneuve, who is the mastermind behind the soon to be released Dune, received high praise from Zhao, and she even revealed that she’s used his work as a reference point when pitching films of her own.

“I would like to apply for a job on your set to be your assistant,” she told him. “You know, when I went to pitch Eternals, I had stills from your films as references.”
“I’m naturally drawn to filmmakers who have a very strong hand in world building. When I watch your films, even though they’re of different genres, from Sicario to Arrival to Prisoners and then Blade Runner 2049, you managed to build such visceral worlds I can feel and almost touch.”
Zhao, who is best known for her work on Nomadland, also received tons of love from Villeneuve, who has said he’s her “biggest fan.”
The 39-year-old, who hails from Beijing, became the first Asian woman to win the Oscar for Best Director earlier this year, and with Eternals slated to release in theatres on November 5th, the possibility for more awards coming her way is endless.

Diddy And Jermaine Dupri Playfully Traded Shots And Held A Mini ‘Verzuz’ Battle On Instagram Live
A few days ago, Jermaine Dupri called out Diddy in a tweet and challenged him to a Verzuz battle. Diddy shut down the request. “Beloved you my n**** but your arms too short to box with God!!!” he said in response to the challenge. However, Dupri seemed set on not going down without a fight, which he made clear during an Instagram Live on Friday. Dupri, who was on the livestream with Fat Joe and Snoop Dogg, called out Diddy once again. Eventually Diddy joined the livestream, which led to the producers playfully trading shots.

“Ayo, short arms. You need to chill out short arms. You hear me?” Diddy said to Dupri shortly after he hopped on the livetsream. “Ayo, I love you. First of all, I want the world to know that this is one of my best friends. You know, one of my best inspirations.” Diddy then addressed his doubters in the audience. “You amnesia-having motherf*ckers. I done gave y’all life for motherf*cking 20 years of music,” he proclaimed. “I’ma tell you, JD, anything I touch. Anything I breathed on, executive produced, anything I thought up, anything I fucking did, whatever. You hear me? Don’t play with me.”
“Are you listening, JD? … What you gon’ do when [Biggie’s] ‘One More Chance’ drops?” Diddy asked Dupri. “I’m the greatest. What the f*ck y’all talking about? I have the most No. 1s as an artist … I don’t even hear no one play none of your shit. Ayo, when we go back in the club, I don’t hear no one play none of your sh*t. Ain’t nobody rocking no Kriss Kross sh*t, or no Bow Wow. I want Dre! Where is Dre? Where is Dre?”
Next, Diddy challenged Dupri to a mini “five for five” Verzuz battle. While Dupri initially declined, Diddy kicked things off by playing “Victory,” “Who Shot Ya,” “Hypnotize,” “Come and Talk to Me,” “Whoa,” “All About the Benjamins,” and “FWMGAB.” He also played the remixes for “Flava In Ya Ear” and “O Let’s Do It.” Diddy even played some records Dupri’s produced, those being “Jump,” the “Welcome to Atlanta” remix, and “Money Ain’t a Thang,” because he refused to participate.
Finally, Dupri gave in and played Usher’s “Confessions” while asking Diddy if he had an “R&B record better than this.” Diddy responded by playing Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin Down.” However, after the livestream, Dupri questioned Diddy’s right to play Blige’s song as he was not listed as a songwriter or producer.
