K Camp Shares New Single “Stars Aligned Freestyle”

K Camp has been on one of the most impressive grinds in the past few years. Though he was once a promising star on a major label, it turned out that leaving his label situation was one of the best moves he’s made in his career. Fans have benefited from his output while K Camp has been moving at his own pace which is quite rapidly these days.

K Camp already blessed fans with tons of music this month including last month’s Float but he’s returned with even more vibes. This week, the rapper unleashed his latest offering, “Stars Aligned Freestyle” where he effortlessly glides over moody production, reflecting on his perseverance in the face of adversity.

Check the song out below.

Quotable Lyrics
But he turn up, he done broke all the scales
Deeper than the ocean, shit get bigger than a whale
Treat this shit like forest, I’m just waitin’ to exhale
Za in my lungs and Bo got za on the scale

The Alchemist Gives Update On Earl Sweatshirt Album, Says “It’s Incredible”

The last time Earl Sweatshirt gave fans a full studio album was back in 2018 with Some Rap Songs. According to his close friend and frequent collaborator, The Alchemist, we may not have to wait much longer before he drops again.

During a recent sit down with Anthony Fantano from The Needle Drop, the producer revealed that “Earl’s album is incredible. I’m excited about that and I do have some work on there.”

The Alchemist was careful not to drop too many details about his pal’s project, although he did say, “I think everybody will be happy. He’s in his bag, as he should be.”

“Earl is always working, he’s a master of his craft, so something gets cut all the time. When he decides to press the button, we’ll see. But he’s got loaded guns… Know that he’s hard at work and the magic is there.”

Fans of the duo may remember earlier this year, when The Alchemist revealed that he and Earl had completed an entire album together and secretly posted it on YouTube.

When Fantano inquired about the album, the DJ shared that he didn’t have a lot to say about it.

“I haven’t heard anything about it, man. It’s still just floating in the matrix… I can’t even really say anything about it. I’ve been sworn to just leave it alone. It was just one day of madness.”

In regards to his own music, The Alchemist shared that he plans to release a second edition of his EP This Thing of Ours, but first, he wants to show his listeners a different side.

“The next project I got coming is all keyboard, all synth entirely and it’s the score to a film by Jason Goldwatch that we did together and it’s called Cycles,” he said.

“It’s an experiment I did a long time — I played all the shit I don’t even know how to play — but it came out really cool and I’m interested to see how people take to it.”

Soulja Boy Is On A Vibe On “Do My Lil Dance”

Soulja Boy is everywhere these days. The rapper’s continued to make waves in the past year, specifically following the success of “She Make It Clap.” The impromptu freestyle transformed into one of the biggest TikTok trends and earned Soulja another #1 record on the Billboard charts. In the midst of all of this, he’s found himself in public feuds that are often one-sided and has flooded the streets with new music at every corner.

The rapper doesn’t appear to have any intention of slowing down, either. Today, the rapper quietly emerged with a new single titled, “Do My Lil Dance.” The cover art for the single reads “Soulja Season” which might indicate that another album is on the way before the year’s end.

Check out his new track below.

Playboi Carti Was Sued By A Jeweler Who Claims The Rapper Owes Nearly $100,000

Playboi Carti is less than a year removed from the release of his second album, Whole Lotta Red, and there’s another en route called Narcissist. But now he’s in trouble: Carti was recently sued by famed jeweler Elliot Eliantte for an unpaid balance of $97,063.75.

According to a report that TMZ shared on Friday, Eliante And Co. claim the rapper purchased two custom chains in September 2020 and never paid the full balance. The purchase included a 14-carat white gold diamond rosary chain and a diamond tennis chain, which both came to a total of $197,063.75. Eliantte confirms that Carti paid $100,000 back in January, but since then, he has not submitted any additional payments which prompted the lawsuit.

Earlier this week, Carti claimed that his merch website was hacked after pointing out the absurdly high prices for items on it. The products on the site included $75 motorcycle gloves, a $160 jersey, a $250 racing jacket, a $40 balaclava mask, a $50 long sleeve shirt, and a $5,000 motorcycle helmet. While some fans made some purchases, the rapper posted a screenshot of a group chat text message he sent where he shares his frustration about the incident. “THE WEBSITE IS HACKED THE REF FOLDER WAS POSTED LIVE,” he wrote. “NEVER APPROVED ANY CLOTHING/ ECT.”

Wiki & Mike Slide On “Promised”

Wiki’s left his imprint on the culture for the past decade since his efforts alongside Sporting Life and Hak as Ratking. The group has taken a hiatus of sorts in the past few years but that doesn’t mean they’ve left fans high and dry. Each member has pushed forward with solo releases, specifically Wiki who’s delivered several projects in recent years. In 2019, he offered Oofie, and at the top of the summer, he linked up with Nah for their joint project, Telephone Booth.

Now, Wiki is preparing the release of his forthcoming project Half God which drops at the top of next month. Ahead of its release, he’s shared his new single, “Promised” ft. MIKE and produced by Navy Blue.

Check the record out below.

Quotable Lyrics
It’s too early for all the urgency, my brain feels like been in and out of surgery
Open up the curtains, see everything the world conceived, left to me
Not no unnecessaries, only necessities, the bear ones have you cherishing
Your sense of Qi sets you free, just don’t take a turn down the wrong street

Kim Kardashian Laughs At People Imitating Her Balenciaga Met Gala Look

The Met Gala may be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean that people are done talking about their favourite (and least favourite) celebrity looks from the carpet.

Arguably one of the most controversial looks this year was worn by Kim Kardashian West. The mother of four has been known to make waves with bold looks in past years, but this year she chose to focus entirely on her silhouette.

@kimkardashian/Insatgram

Wearing head to toe Balenciaga, which she seems to be doing a lot lately, Kardashian showed up to the Met in an all black outfit – the only thing showing through the fabric her sleek black ponytail.

Her face may have been hidden, but her iconic hourglass figure made it very clear who was hiding underneath those designer clothes.

As is tradition after a major event, Twitter has had a field day creating memes based on what unfolded on Monday evening, some of which Kardashian re-posted on her own Instagram story.

In one particularly comedic image, a woman can be seen in a Kim-inspired outfit, face covering and all, talking to a pedestrian in the middle of a subway station. “The Kim K of the subway,” text on top of the photo reads.

“Who did this…I’m done,” the 40-year-old wrote.

She then went on to share some other posts poking fun at herself, including a video of a man copying her outfit, singing along to “Push The Feeling On” by Nightcrawlers.

Kim’s look for the evening may not have gone over as anticipated, but at least she had the support of her family on the carpet. Her mother, Kris Jenner, and little sister Kendall also made appearances at this year’s Met.

What are your thoughts on Kardashian’s Balenciaga look? Share them in the comments below.
