Mother Nature & Valee Put On For Chicago With New Collab “GOOFIEZ”

Mother Nature is currently doing justice in hip-hop, both for the female rap game and the legion of burgeoning Chicago-bred emcees overall. The duo seems to be doubling down on the “put on for my city” initiative with their latest single “GOOFIEZ,” and the ladies are getting some help thanks to another Chicago native that’s pretty ill behind a mic as well.

G.O.O.D. Music’s own Valee is the emcee at hand who helps bring the collab to life, with each rapper included delivering an impressive set of bars that shows off their individual flows respectively. Lyrically, “GOOFIEZ” is all about stunting with an emphasis on doing so as a strong unit with your closest homies. Basically, do your best to leave the “goofs” on the sideline where they can’t interrupt your glow-up, and continue to rock out with your winning team as we move into better weather and (fingers crossed!) a healthier and disease-free society. Sounds about right if you ask us!

Take a listen to “GOOFIEZ,” the latest single by Mother Nature featuring Valee off the duo’s upcoming album SZNZ, by streaming the track below or on your preferred MSP. The LP is expected to be released on April 20 via Closed Sessions, so be sure to stay on the lookout as it’s set to feature appearances from the likes of Brittney Carter, Freddie Old Soul, The Cool Kid’s own Sir Michael Rocks and more. Let us know your thoughts as always down below in the comments section:

Quotable Lyrics:

Is we politicking or we b*tching?
I don’t really know
Found a way to activate the vision
Sh*t is mind control
What you speaking? How you living?
What’s the riddle of your soul?
This one’s for my n****s
Hope my real ones found the antidote

Fyre Fest Cheese Sandwich Tweet Being Sold As An NFT

It’s been a few years since the infamous Fyre Festival nearly took place. Truthfully, it seems like it would’ve been a page out of 2020’s book but somehow, it predates what has been defined as one the worst year in modern times. Of course, Ja Rule’s involvement in this sham event made it all the more hilarious, even as he’s attempted to distance himself.

With the rise of NFTs in the world of art, it seems that one person could purchase the notorious photo of that repulsive cheese sandwich that sent the Internet ablaze.  Photographer Trevor DeHaas is selling his photo of the sandwich as an NFT beginning Tuesday at noon. The buyer of DeHaas’ photo will be able to own the “cultural touchstone” as well as the copyright ownership in order to monetize the IP. DeHaas explained that the proceeds from the NFT will go towards his kidney transplant and daily dialysis. The funny thing about the newly launched NFT is that it’s actually being sold on Ja Rule’s Flipkick platform

“Initially the viral tweet came with a lot of negative connotations and assumptions about me; rich-spoiled-clout chasing-millennial-brat,” DeHaas told Complex via email.

“People assumed I paid $12,000 for a ticket and that I cared about going to the festival. The reality is that I went for free and I originally turned down the $500 ticket from my friend, Matt, who bought a group package. 8 people [for] $4,000. Matt wasn’t able to get rid of his remaining ticket and offered me the ticket for free. In exchange I would film a music video for his band, Hypothetical, at the festival. I remember thinking, ‘3 days in the Bahamas, what’s the worst that could happen?’ LOL.”

Gunna Involved In Alleged Hit-And-Run Car Crash

Atlanta rapper Gunna should be thanking his lucky stars after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run car accident this week. According to multiple reports, the Drip Season rapper was driving in his beige-colored Lamborghini Urus truck when an armored bank vehicle struck him and drove away.

“Aye Brinks truck hit me and kept going. But I’m good tho,” wrote Gunna on social media following the accident. He also shared a video, in which the car’s damages are clear to the eye. The front driver’s side door is dented pretty badly and the backdoor doesn’t close properly anymore. Throughout the video, Gunna moans in a frustrated manner, knowing that his insurance is probably about to go up because of the crash.

Thankfully, Gunna does not appear to have sustained any injuries in the accident. It’s unclear what led to the crash, as well as which party was in the wrong.

Gunna has a number of different expensive cars, flexing an alternate color of the Lamborghini Urus last year with Lil Durk. While he may have to pay for repairs on the beige whip, he’s still got a few other colors that he can ride around in for the time being.

A few days ago, Gunna was spotted filming a music video with Don Toliver and Lil Uzi Vert, directed by Cole Bennett. Read more about that here.

Dorrough Responds To Backlash After Tweeting He Only Sees “Same Type” Of Female Rapper

In the past, we’ve seen celebrities and fellow musicians alike publicly express why they think female rappers are second class compared to their male counterparts. Notably, Jermaine Dupri compared female rappers to strippers back in 2019. This type of comment always prompts a lot of negative backlash, and Dorrough seemingly decided to hop on a similar type of train, when he claimed he only sees one type of female rapper out presently.

The Dallas native sent out a tweet, which he’s since deleted, criticizing female rappers as being all “the same type” of artist. He questioned where certain “female” versions of male rap icons were, insinuating that the female rap scene lacks a variety that male rappers have. The female grouping is apparently missing rappers that resemble Nipsey Hussle, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and the like.

“I love female rappers. But where is the female Nipsey Hussle? Where is the female J Cole, Kendrick, Jay Z, Nas etc.???,” Dorrough tweeted. “I just mostly see the same type.”

An array of rebuttals quickly followed, flooding Dorrough’s comments with jokes and negative reactions. Then, days later, the rapper claimed he’s being misunderstood.

Since he says he felt misinterpreted, he now wants to shed some light on new and upcoming female rappers.

He posted to his Instagram in response to the backlash surrounding his initial question, “I’m about to put some NEW female rappers in the limelight.”

He continued, “Since @complex and other blogs tried to deflect the actual point of my tweet let’s see if they have that same energy in supporting as I shed some light on some new female rappers. Yall make sure yall hold them accountable too because they like to run with negative narratives before positive ones. Lady rappers stay tuned! And be ready. Y’all @ the ones y’all wanna see shine.”

Now, plenty of fans are tagging their favorite unknown female rapper in hopes to be featured on his Instagram page to gain some exposure.

Mulatto Fuels More Relationship Rumors With Risqué Instagram Caption

Mulatto dropped a picture on Instagram looking more radiant than ever while raising some eyebrows with a racy caption.

The “Queen of Da Souf” wore a champagne-colored dress with snakeskin boots, and silky-straight honey-blonde hair, as she showed off with a quick spin in a video clip. She captioned the post, “that [eggplant emoji] got me glowing” with a mischievous laughing emoji and a sparkle at the end.

Fans, instantly amused by the bold caption, speculated who was the man behind the eggplant. Recently, rumors have been circulating that Latto has been coupled up with 21 Savage, and these rumors are echoed in the IG comments.

One fan commented under the post, “21, 21, 21,” to which many others added to this narrative.

Regarding the rumored couple, 21 Savage has shut down rumors insinuating that he was with the “Muwop” rapper on multiple occasions. Last year, Mulatto vacationed in Puerto Rico for her 22nd birthday, and, coincidentally, 21 Savage seemed to be there too.

Then, the other week, the “Mr. Right Now” rapper seemed to accidentally reveal his relationship with Latto on Instagram. He reposted the rapper’s “no makeup” post on his IG story with the caption “Dam u fine, it’s only 1 way I can come bout you twin.” However, the post was deleted shortly after.

Neither has confirmed or denied any of the rumors either.

Do you think Mulatto and 21 Savage are secretly together? Let us know in the comments.

Wiz Khalifa’s Fancy New Way Of Smoking Weed Will Blow Your Mind

Wiz Khalifa is one of the premier pot-smokers in hip-hop. For the length of his entire run in the music business, weed has been a central part of his personality. When you see Wiz pull up to an event, he’s usually got a joint in between his fingers, having already smoked an ounce on the way over. The “Black & Yellow” hitmaker is known for being a cannabis connoisseur, working on his own marijuana strains on a few different occasions. However, it’s not his Khalifa Kush that’s blowing the minds of fans across the nation– it’s the manner in which he’s recently been smoking it.

Going viral this week for a video of himself smoking out of a glass gravity bong from Cookies, Wiz Khalifa impressed the masses by showing how dedicated he is to the art of getting high. Wiz has been adamant that he enjoys smoking joints over blunts, but he might have found a special contraption that takes the cake. Inhaling smoke from two separate glass gravity bongs, Wiz showed off how the product works before taking a long puff. Needless to say, people were pretty impressed.

Recently, the 33-year-old rapper celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his album Rolling Papers, releasing the deluxe version with a few new songs. He’s also been teasing a new mixtape called Cereal Milk, which will likely be released this year.

What do you think of Wiz’s smoking device?

T.I. And Tiny Challenge Their Sexual Assault Accusers To ‘Reveal Themselves Publicly’

T.I. and Tiny Harris, who were recently accused of sexual assault by a lawyer seeking criminal charges on behalf of a group of women who say the couple drugged them on separate occasions, fired back in a statement shared with Billboard after a new group of women made accusations via claims made in a statement to Page Six.

The three women joined the “dozens” of women currently employing Tyrone A. Blackburn as he urges authorities in multiple jurisdictions to pursue criminal charges against the couple. One of the women recounted a 2010 incident in Miami in which she says she was forced to swallow a pill, taken to a hotel in South Beach and forced to engage in sex with the couple, despite being unable to consent. The other two describe similar accounts of being drugged, with one claiming she was “sex trafficked in Nevada, California, and Florida.”

T.I. and Tiny previously denied the accusations, calling them a “shakedown” by Blackburn and blaming the slew of new allegations on one initial accuser, Sabrina Peterson, who they say they “have had difficulty with” for “well over a decade.” In response to the new spate of accusations, they doubled down, telling Billboard: “The Harrises are still waiting for the accusers to reveal themselves publicly. By continuing to hide behind anonymous allegations, the unnamed accusers effectively render themselves not credible and unworthy of belief. We say: Let the light shine on their identities so we can go about disproving these scurrilous accusations.”

South Park & Adidas Made The Perfect Campus 80s Sneaker Collab For 4/20

Sneaker culture and weed culture rarely intersect, but the union can result in some pretty dope products — remember Curren$y’s “Jet Life”-themed Reebok Question or his smoker-friendly Club C sneaker collab? Highlights in the history of kush & kicks for sure, but now it’s looking like adidas is turning to South Park to take the crown for 2021.

Anyone that got a chance to watch the “Pandemic Special” episode of South Park, currently streaming on HBO Max, knows for certain that we can expect to see Cartman and the gang for the long run — what’s 23 seasons on air anyway! Diehard fans are well aware of the character Towelie, an animated towel used as an anthropomorphic analogy that doesn’t need to be described for seasoned smokers. The Campus 80s silhouette used for this collab is designed to look exactly like the character, complete with a lavender-colored french terry upper and eye motifs that change under UV light and turn red to signal…well, y’all know!

The rest of shoe takes on a clean finish overall, pairing the lavender detailing with a crisp white midsole, matching Three Stripes on the side panels as per usual and a white leather heel counter complimented further with adidas’ signature Trefoil logo in lavender. The shoes look cozy AF based off first glance, and the overall simplicity makes it one of those kicks you can rock with majority of your wardrobe if you’re not planning on keeping these on ice as a collector. All and all, we’re sure you’ll be the flyest in the cypher come 4/20 if you decide to add these to your rotation.

No official release date set for these, but word on the block is that they’re most likely dropping on 4/20/21. Check out some more pics of the South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” kicks releasing for 4/20 below:
