Robert Sarver Alleged Used N-Word While Ranting About Draymond Green
Just a couple of weeks ago, there seemed to be some rumblings that Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver was about to be exposed in a piece by ESPN. There were reportedly going to be allegations of sexism, racism, and even harassment, which had the Suns preparing a statement for whatever was on the horizon. Fans waited with bated breath for the news, and now, it has finally arrived.
Today, Baxter Holmes of ESPN published his piece which had some truly bombshell allegations. One of the more interesting ones came from a situation in 2016 where Sarver used the N-Word while talking to the Suns coaching staff. After playing the Warriors, Sarver spoke to head coach Earl Watson and went on a rant about Draymond Green’s use of the word. Watson was visibly upset by it although at the time, nothing was done about the incident.

Per ESPN:
“After the loss, Suns majority owner Robert Sarver entered the coaches locker room, Watson told ESPN.
“You know, why does Draymond Green get to run up the court and say [N-word],” Sarver, who is white, allegedly said, repeating the N-word several times in a row.
“You can’t say that,” Watson, who is Black and Hispanic, told Sarver.
“Why?” Sarver replied. “Draymond Green says [N-word].”
“You can’t f—ing say that,” Watson said again.”
Watson is now speaking his truth on the matter, and it does not look good for Sarver. It was stated that if Adam Silver were to launch an investigation into the Suns, he would be shocked by the results. With that in mind, the Suns could be facing some huge problems in the immediate future.

Shyne Wishes Diddy A Happy Birthday In Heartfelt Instagram Post
On Kanye West’s “New God Flow,” G.O.O.D. Music president, Pusha T, handles the first two verses.
Halfway through the first verse, Push explains how Kanye brought him to G.O.O.D. and that he thought it was “good that Ye got a blow dealer.” However, Push also clarified that he wasn’t there just to rap alongside Mr. West. He was there to be Kanye’s right-hand man.
“I came aboard for more than just to rhyme with ’em,” he rapped. “Think ’99 when Puff woulda had Shyne with him.”

While “New God Flow” was released in 2012, Pusha’s reference to Puff Daddy and his Bad Boy Records signee, Shyne, was as poignant as ever.
At that point, Puff (aka Diddy) and Shyne were still on bad terms. After Diddy essentially threw Shyne under the bus during a 2001 trial for a nightclub shooting that had happened two years prior, the “Bad Boyz” rapper was sentenced to ten years in prison. He was released early, in 2009, but was almost immediately deported to his native Belize, and was not allowed back into the United States.
Just a couple months ago, however, Shyne made his triumphant return to the states — this time as a diplomat, and with the help of Diddy himself.
During his time stateside, Shyne reunited with the likes of Jay-Z and other prominent figures from his time in New York City in the late-90s and early-2000s, but most importantly, he reunited with Diddy.
And two-and-a-half months after their reunion, it seems as if Puff and Shyne are still on good terms.
Taking to Instagram with a couple of photos of he and Diddy sipping on some celebratory wine, Shyne wished his former record boss a happy 52nd birthday with a heartfelt message.
“Birthday Blessings my brother @diddy,” he wrote. “Health, Happiness & LOVE.”
It’s unclear if the photos are recent, or if they are from their time together in August, but after nearly two decades of rumors of betrayal and animosity, it is a welcome sight to see Puff and Shyne back together. There’s no concrete way to make up for lost time, but with the 25th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s death approaching, every Bad Boy reunion feels more and more important.

Megan Thee Stallion Foregoes The Gown In Her Booty-Baring Graduation Photos
Megan Thee Stallion has every right to be proud of herself this year. Not only did she continue her dominant reign on the music side, dropping the well-received turn-up tape, Something For Thee Hotties, and land the cover of Glamour magazine explaining how she was inspired as a businesswoman by Queen Latifah, but she also completed the coursework to secure her degree in health administration from Texas Southern, with what sounds like an “A” average despite her musical and business obligations.
After previously showing off her graduation cap — customized with her signature catchphrase, naturally — Meg shared her graduation photos on social media today, taking both traditional shots in a classy black dress and a racier set in her hot pink graduation stole — and little else, baring her booty in a matching monokini with heels in front of a fleet of customized lowriders. “Showed my ass and still went to class,” she celebrated in the caption.
“IMA ALWAYS STAND OUT WITH NO HANDOUTS,” she continued. “Doing everything they said I can’t/couldn’t! Megan Thee Mf Stallion aka the mf Htown Hottie is graduating Dec 11th from TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY now go and talk abt that!” She also teased a graduation party, the date and location of which would appear to be either a secret or to be determined, judging from the peeking eyes emoji she used in place of a date.
With her degree out of the way, Meg will be free to go full-throttle on her musical career, should she decide to, although she’s also got some other plans that involve giving back and helping more women complete their own educations as she aims for the sky and proves that you really can have it all.
Tems’ Gorgeous Tiny Desk Concert Takes Over A Glamorous Ballroom
Tems is having a stellar year. The Nigerian R&B-afrobeats singer-songwriter broke out in early 2021 as a result of her feature on fellow Nigerian artist Wizkid’s fan-favorite single “Essence,” which catapulted her into the US spotlight and sent listeners scrambling back to her September 2020 EP For Broken Ears. Since then, she’s released another EP, If Orange Was a Place, featured on Drake’s new album Certified Lover Boy, and embarked on her first-ever US tour, which is helping to show her breakout was no fluke.
Now, as if to put the exclamation point on the above-mentioned accomplishments, she offers her take on the star-making NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert. The Tiny Desk (Home) Concert format allows her to spread out, as she and her band perform in an elegantly-appointed ballroom. With a setlist consisting of “Found,” “Free Mind,” “Looku Looku,” “Replay,” and the standout “Damages,” Tems establishes herself as a performer of uncommon talent, managing to be as captivating sitting on a stool as any number of much more animated artists.
Tems’ rise to stardom now has her performing on late-night television shows and videos like “Crazy Tings” racking up millions of plays, making it clear that there are even greater heights in store.

Anitta And Saweetie Aren’t Afraid To Break Hearts In Their ‘Faking Love’ Performance On ‘Corden’
Last year, Brazilian pop star Anitta teamed up with Cardi B for the showstopping single “Me Gusta.” For her latest single “Faking Love,” Anitta set her sights on another groundbreaking rapper: Saweetie. This week, the duo came together to perform the joint track on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
The captivating rendition of “Faking Love” marked the duo’s debut TV performance of the single. Armed with backup dancers, moody red lighting, and unstoppable confidence, Anitta and Saweetie delivered cutting lyrics about feigning interest in a romantic partner.
Ahead of the set, Anitta and Saweetie chatted with Corden about the exact inspiration behind the track. Anitta admitted that her relationships usually have a three-month expiration date. While writing the song, she was seeing guy she was seeing for about three months and decided it was time to end things. But because it was his birthday week, she decided to wait and “fake love” until after the celebrations ended. “I got to three months and I said, ‘No. He’s not nice,’” she told Corden. “But I didn’t want to break up with him in that moment because it was his birthday week because I’m a nice girl. So I was faking for that week so that after his birthday was [done], I would break up and that’s what I did.”
Anitta also revealed that, with this guy, she took some inspiration out of the 2003 film How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days and did some “disgusting things” to him in order to try to get him to break up with her — but it didn’t quite work.

Last night, at Nav’s 32nd birthday party, Gunna made sure to commemorate all of their near-perfect collaborations with one hell of a gift: an iced-out ring to match one of his own.
Catching Nav in the middle of the party, the Wunna rapper presented the ring and Nav couldn’t help but drop a huge, “Oh sh*t!” After trying to get the ring on a couple of fingers, Nav settled on his pinky, and in a cartoon-like gesture of brotherhood, he and Gunna put their rings right next to each other and shared a huge hug.

This impressive gesture is yet another example of Gunna’s generosity.
Back in September, the YSL number-two opened a dual, grocery-clothing store in his former middle school, where everything is free and is aimed at meeting the needs of his home community. Combined with a moving performance on Saturday Night Live alongside Young Thug, a recent link-up with Chloe Bailey and most importantly, Rihanna dressing as him for Halloween, it’s clear that Gunna is ascending to another echelon of stardom and is making sure to take care of those that have been there for him along the way.
And although it’s unclear when we’ll be blessed with our next Gunna x Nav music collaboration, they have matching rings now, and more songs from the two rappers seem almost inevitable.
